DeviantART hosted a Pride art event in celebration of pride month and the LGBTQ+ community. I myself don't often think of being LGBTQ+, but I am gray-asexual, and my gender identity is at questionable state tbh, so, if not clearly right in there I still very much live on the edge of that community.
Anyway! The event inspired me to take one of my older ideas and turn it into something new! The idea was to choose a colour, and then draw a piece based off the theme given with that colour. I chose blue, and the theme was peace and harmony, and I think this kind of scene fits perfectly into that!
Some of you probably recognize April from this picture. The other character is another fairly new OC I made, and oddly enough she's an eel! Her design is unfinished tho, and she's yet to be named. The piece itself was pretty challenging, but I am really happy with what I managed to do and feel like I have improved a lot on my anatomy lately!
Also I am going to be calling my art videos Timelapses instead of Speedpaints in the future,. It's more accurate caption for these videos :P

I definately did not mean to do 3 speedpaints (or as I'll call them from now on: timelapses) of April in a row xD But it happened that my schedule got changed a bit. I'll do something different for the next video I promise!

You haven't done something sci-fi like in a while (like "AX106" or "In Space You Hear Nothing"). I really liked those, though my favorite is still your shopkeeper one. Perhaps something along those lines? Anyway, you still do wonderful work, keep it up!

Are u sure the pink hair will not give any problem on the flag?
The dominant colour of the piece is blue, so if they don't want to use this in the flag because of a single part being pink it's not my problem :P They only pick some of the submitted works into the flag anyway and for me it honestly doesn't matter that much whether this is there or not xD
