Btw giving you context in case you don't know: NEURON or NEURON CREW was Jhope dancing team back in his hometown Gwangju before he was in BTS, he was the maknae of the team and basically where everything started for him, his passion for dancing and all!! In his docuseries he goes back to Gwangju too to dance with them, very wholesome!!!
Also, why the kid being like the protagonist of this Motion Picture is so meaningful!! I believe he represents Jhope, but also if you pay attention the video starts with an old man and changes, at the end is the kid behind the old camera and also while the kid was putting the pictures on the wall is the old man that leaves the room, it's also just about life in general!!

Also Yoon Mirae is a big name in the K hip-hop, she and her husband Tiger JK are considered the Godparents of the K hip-hop!! So it's also really cool for her to be in the song!!

I think that the child is a little J hope who studied dancing, and the grandfather is the present/future J hope who is already telling us about what he has seen and achieved. Moreover, Hobi loves to take photographs, and the last scene with the wall covered in threads is like his entire past, which he has been documenting for years (it also reminded me of an old popular video among the army in which you can see how all the BU references were tied on the wall with thread).

NEURON blows me away, the whole album did, it's so amazing that hobi made an album which is easy on the ears and yet so freaking good artistically ! check out the other songs, I WONDER, LOCK/UNLOCK, I DON'T KNOW, they are awesome, lock unlock (collab with legendary Nile Rodgers) is WoW & the guitar at the end is a brilliant stroke of genius. Even songs which we heard before like OTS (solo version) had added verses that are fantastic, i could listen to the album all day, pls give it a listen, its only 19min but full of genius and great vibes :)

This song and his album is fpr his street dance documentary Hope on the street.
And in it he visits his hometown and meets his old street dance crew Neuron.
So thats why this song is called neuron and its about revisiting your roots and hometown

Oh! I think you gorgot you've heard J-Hope singing voice more than once. He is a subvocalist, too!
The whole album is a masterpiece, like always 😅
The only official MV is this, but there are some visualizers and fanmade videos for the other new tracks. The album is the soundtrack of J-Hope's docuseries about street dance and himself. It's being released on Prime Video. It's excellent! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
