    Reading the description and seeing Kalgoorlie mentioned is interesting 😂
    Some gorgeous timbers, but not big and far between. But Salmon Gum is one of my favs. And Gimlet

    Please note, people ate meat every day and were fit and healthy , unlike all the fat people today.

      The old timber cutters were carnivores who did horrendous amounts of work with just a roo meat sandwich for lunch . . with a bit of damper & treacle . . sunlight did the rest

      Amazing, not much on the east coast would have equaled the size, and board feet of these. Reminds me of the Kauri forrests in Waipoua up top on NZ, which are even bigger but as tall. These tough old blokes too.
