@Jain Manari Absolutely! My second cousin was found clinically dead, heart stopped, for an unknown amount of time. She wasn't responding to medical treatment, doctors to this day still do not know why she died. They were finally able to resuscitate her but told her family she would have to be put in a brain dead coma to survive or, just not make it. I knew she had several children that needed her and her death seemed untimely. I set up a ritual, commanded my intention, released it to the universe and days later she came out of the coma, as close to fully recovered as possible. Doctors even said it was a miracle. The only thing that remained was she lost her leg from the nerves dying from being OUT so long. Besides that she's still her old self, happy and healthy today.

It's actually a caduceus, associated with Hermes (/Mercury), so it has nothing to do with medicine originally, funnily enough. The rod of Asclepius is just one snake- they got mixed up somewhere along the way.

Since a little girl I’ve always been “obsessed” with drawing and doodling on literally everything and everyone. Numbers, letter, shapes, symbols, etc. I would go into sort of a trans...It’s just always been relaxing. Now that I’m studying and researching witchcraft I’m finally realizing at nearly 30 I’ve been making sigils my whole life and didn’t even know 🤯🤯 So happy I’m running across channels like these, my purpose is becoming clearer every day ✨💫

I found another way on a witch amino group that I’m in. You use the phrase you come up with then there is a process where the letters correspond to a number 1-9. Then there’s a little chart where it has all the numbers in a block all mixed up and u essentially just connect the dots. I think it would be a great way for people who aren’t all that artistic, although it’s a bit of a long process

i never thought of using letters for sigils, the way i always went about making sigils (and kinda guessed how they would work) is that i would hold the intent in my mind and just scribble until something that had the same energy came out, trying to give character and emotion and intent to the lines
birdhand _ that’s one way to do it, there’s a lot of ways to do it. The way that they show it is typically shown as the “beginner” method. When I’m doing them, I don’t remove the vowels, only duplicate letters sometimes, and typically try to make it look symbolic of my intent. So my my general protection spell looks spiky on one side to ward of bad things, and my health protection sigil looks like a shield.
in other video the person who wrote te letters left out the letters that were double after leaving the vowals out and made a cirkel and put the letters in it and then you had to focus on it and putting your DNA on it and then burn it... this video shows a different way of making a sigil. So my founding here is... we create our own magic. If a sigil looks good for you and works for your mind to put it in your reality then go ahead. We just need someone to tell us if we write stuff we can make it reality
I love sigils! I manifested the love of my life by drawing my own. I did it just to try it but so so so much intent went into it and many hours of meditation. The intent was pure with "it is and it will be" phrases and it is sustained with my faith that it is true.
I'm so happy I found this video because I have never heard of this before! Whenever bored, I write a story, poem, or a small journal entry and, if I was happy, I would draw one of three symbols. Later, I would notice good things happening. I just looked at my journals, some 10 years old, and I find these symbols. During the dark period, I never drew them. Seeing them again and realizing what they represented allowed me to give them a written interpretation for the first time since they were created. I put these symbols on almost everything I write about love or happiness without realizing. Although my journey, I've come to understand that so much of my magic is natural to the point of being an unconscious act.
This was a super useful primer, thank you! A note I'd like to make though - I'm a demonlater and this was my intro to sigil crafting - my patroness gave me a few extra hints that I thought I'd dump here, see if anyone can validate it or finds it useful. The sigil shouldn't shape you - it should shape the world around you. You don't change yourself with magic, you work hard at it. You don't dictate how the sigil works - let the universe figure it out for you. Just put your intent out there, let the laws of reality do the heavy lifting. And don't expect miracles. Don't have too many sigils at once. Ideally one at a time. You don't want energies compounding or contradicting each other. You want to keep track of what works and what doesn't. Too many spells muddy the waters. Positive intents are good for positive effects, negative intents are good for enemies. Don't avoid dark energies, use them for curses and hexes. Use sparingly. Make sure you size up and guage your victim correctly before engaging them. Drawing the sigil itself is charging it. You don't need to add more. The more you add, however, the higher the potency and immediacy. Bodily fluids are exceptionally potent. Physical acts such as burning are moderately potent. Don't overdo it with potency - use sparingly for the best results. Hope this helps someone or I can get some feedback!
I do mine sort of in reverse. I have a zen garden that I use, and I draw whatever comes to me in the sand, take any of my tiny crystal chips from my little box that jump out at me, and trace the drawing in crystals. Then I draw it and whatever I pray for (i do lots of prayers instead of spells) is what that symbol is associated with. Its super intuitive and fluid.
i first started out using sigil. i had TREMENDOUS results with it, however i have my own twist on how i dispose my intent to the universe. absolutely recommend sigil to a fellow beginner.

@@madisonmancini8052 I would look into blowing smoke on them from incense or rubbing them with a crystal matching it's intent to power them and then launch them by doing a power vortex, where you swirl your finger around it in circles getting bigger and bigger as you lift your fingers away as you keep swirling, like a tornado, and then flick it away, or coming towards you in big circles getting to be smaller and smaller circles till you tap the sigil on your skin to focus the energy on you, if you want to attract something to you physically. Remember, visualization and intent is what is important.
I use the Sigil Suite app, in addition to being able to export it as an image, I can share it. Also amazing is the fact that you can choose a Servitor in the app as the background of your Sigil
I just wanna add some advice I literally just learned, if you are burning sigils to activate them, get a incense burner to set the burning paper on or a clay bowl or something. Stay away from glass. I just had an ash tray shatter because of the heat. Also the Sigil doesn’t need to be on a large piece of paper, in my opinion the smaller the better so it’s less mess. Don’t hold the burning paper above the candle because ash will fall into the candle and make it dirty. Please don’t burn yourself either❤️

I appreciate that you mentioned being an artist. I rely on my intuition and creative energy when I make grids. I start with a basic framework then allow myself to be more fluid as I build around my framework. I make my sigils the same way.

So I'm guessing that was my sigil, at the time I had no idea what sigils were...I just felt that I needed a symbol to help me with my spellwork. I put my full intentions into it. "My husband and I are growing our family and we have everything we need." I said my confession and lit my "sigil and then used the ashes to meditate with and I thanked the Goddess of fertility Venus and the God of wealth Pluto for helping me achieve my desires as well as God (Christian God) for making me. I then used Christian scriptures to declare that I will bare a child and my husband and I will have all that we need (finances, furniture for new house, a good working vehicle, jobs,etc.) I am still new to the practice and am still "in the broom closet", but I thought I would share my experience.
Wow! I never knew you could make your own sigils. I always thought you had to use pre-existing ones. This might actually come in handy for a baby witch like me! This is nice to Know! Sigils were actually the first thing I learned and my friend whos been practicing witchcraft for years was the one who taught me how to make them and how to use them. I'm thankful for them teaching me and Their knowledge along with your channel will help me lots. Also the way my friend taught me how to make sigils is by writing out what the sigil will do or help with on a piece of paper. You then remove the vowels and repeating letters before putting the remaining letters into a picture or symbol with each letter connected in some way or another. You then use your energy and maybe a few other things like candles, crystals, etc. to charge the sigil and give it power. Thats how I've used sigils and this is another way of doing it if it seems easier for you! :)

I love this question! It's the 42 million dollar question. I have been (and prefer being) a solitary because I am SO awkward and I also just don't like groups. However, one way to connect with other witches is via social media, friends, or even your local metaphysical shop. They may have connections that they keep secret just for curious individuals like yourself and because, let's face it. Witchcraft is so mysterious and each path is very personal/individualistic, it will never be mainstream, but that's a good thing. Go out into nature, feel around and get to know others and I'm sure you'll find a like-minded group in no time. Also, all you have to do to find someone (living or dead) is pray/affirm your intent and whom you're looking for when you meditate, think about the person you wish to find, say their name throughout the day and before you go to sleep, reaffirm once more and remain positive that you will encounter some sign of how to find them. Whether or not you dream vividly, the universe should reveal something to you. Happy Witching!

I’m so grateful to be learning so much from you! I’m a beginner and unfortunately practicing in secret for this current stage of my growth & journey and being a beginner it can get a bit overwhelming to try and absorb all this wonderful wisdom but your channel has really helped take pressure off and explain things in an easy to understand for a fresh one like me so thank you! I also realize for myself that I can’t be impatient and try & tackle multiple areas of witchcraft, magick, divination, astrology, astronomy, goddesses, etc. and need to slow down and focus on one thing at a time. I think it’s because since I was 11 I have always felt this incredibly comforting pull towards the occult/witchcraft and I remember being 11 year old me making my own spell books with my close friend at the time and even felt a warm pull & magnetism towards even just books, tarot, etc at a young age but had to resist because of what religion my family & I practiced. I’ve always had such a strong pull and over the years I did dabble with chakras, lucid dreaming, third eye awakening, spirit communication, but over these last couple of months I decided to follow what my soul spirit heart and mind have been yearning for and it’s so liberating (I just want to learn and grow as much as I can being 36 and feeling like I need to make up for lost time.) Do you have any advice on how to stay grounded, how do you recommend I learn that will feel less hectic for me because I’m just so excited to have listened to my entire being and follow this path but I also realize I cannot learn everything at once either lol. When I was in Airforce Basic Training each Sunday we were allowed to go to a spiritual service for 1 hour in the morning (which was nice because that was the 1 hour where the drill sergeant wasn't yelling at us) . The first week I went to the usual Protestant service like I had grown up with, the second Sunday I went to a catholic service, and the third Sunday one of my squamates said the Wiccan service was going to have free cookies for Halloween. So I went, they actually didn't have cookies but I did get a basic 1 hour intro to Wicca. :)
I have a question that i was hoping someone could help me with; If i were to make a sigil on paper and then burn it and mix the ashes into soil, would it effect the plant? I have a very clumsy friend who often ends up burning themselves when they cook, so i thought id gift them an aloe. However, ive recently started to teach myself witchcraft and was wondering if i could use a sigil in some way to boost the aloes effects on burns.

What happens if you use a sigil that isn’t yours? Like, with the internet and people researching, I could see people doing that. Would that be bad? Or work less?
I think, like with all magic, it's all based on you. After coping something a few times you will natural start to change it like a cooking recipe. If you use what you have, even if it isn't exactly like what the example used, as long as your focus is centered... the magic will manifest. I just realized I've been creating Sigils for years without realized they had a name. Basically, you can use what you find online as a guide and go from there.
Google sigils and look at the pictures and their meanings. Get a pen and paper and just do what feels right. You can edit or adjust etc. But Google images of ones that already exist especially with their meanings to get an idea etc. 😁
I am learning about witchcraft very recently, and before this, I have been a casual face reader, made few predictions, I am doing this since the age of 14 I guess. As you showed this way of making sigils, it was a totally new thing to learn. But I swear I have done something similar to it for one of my readings without even realizing it. I had activated the I am prosperous sigil and my heart fluttered I am smiled really hard for about a minute and internally i made happy seedling noises. I loved the feeling. I feel so much happier than I was.

Since a little girl I’ve always been “obsessed” with drawing and doodling on literally everything and everyone. I found another way on a witch amino group that I’m in. You use the phrase you come up with then there is a process where the letters correspond to a number 1-9. Then there’s a little chart where it has all the numbers in a block all mixed up and u essentially just connect the dots. I think it would be a great way for people who aren’t all that artistic, although it’s a bit of a long process

i never thought of using letters for sigils, the way i always went about making sigils (and kinda guessed how they would work) is that i would hold the intent in my mind and just scribble until something that had the same energy came out, trying to give character and emotion and intent to the lines
birdhand _ that’s one way to do it, there’s a lot of ways to do it. The way that they show it is typically shown as the “beginner” method. When I’m doing them, I don’t remove the vowels, only duplicate letters sometimes, and typically try to make it look symbolic of my intent. So my my general protection spell looks spiky on one side to ward of bad things, and my health protection sigil looks like a shield.
in other video the person who wrote te letters left out the letters that were double after leaving the vowals out and made a cirkel and put the letters in it and then you had to focus on it and putting your DNA on it and then burn it... this video shows a different way of making a sigil. So my founding here is... we create our own magic. If a sigil looks good for you and works for your mind to put it in your reality then go ahead. We just need someone to tell us if we write stuff we can make it reality

I'm so happy I found this video because I have never heard of this before! Whenever bored, I write a story, poem, or a small journal entry and, if I was happy, I would draw one of three symbols. Later, I would notice good things happening. I just looked at my journals, some 10 years old, and I find these symbols. During the dark period, I never drew them. Seeing them again and realizing what they represented allowed me to give them a written interpretation for the first time since they were created. I put these symbols on almost everything I write about love or happiness without realizing. Although my journey, I've come to understand that so much of my magic is natural to the point of being an unconscious act.
I've been drawing 'sigils' my whole life without knowing it. I should look back and really look at them

This was a super useful primer, thank you! A note I'd like to make though - I'm a demonlater and this was my intro to sigil crafting - my patroness gave me a few extra hints that I thought I'd dump here, see if anyone can validate it or finds it useful.
The sigil shouldn't shape you - it should shape the world around you. You don't change yourself with magic, you work hard at it.
You don't dictate how the sigil works - let the universe figure it out for you. Just put your intent out there, let the laws of reality do the heavy lifting. And don't expect miracles.
Don't have too many sigils at once. Ideally one at a time. You don't want energies compounding or contradicting each other. You want to keep track of what works and what doesn't. Too many spells muddy the waters.
Positive intents are good for positive effects, negative intents are good for enemies. Don't avoid dark energies, use them for curses and hexes. Use sparingly. Make sure you size up and guage your victim correctly before engaging them.
Drawing the sigil itself is charging it. You don't need to add more. The more you add, however, the higher the potency and immediacy. Bodily fluids are exceptionally potent. Physical acts such as burning are moderately potent. Don't overdo it with potency - use sparingly for the best results.

I do mine sort of in reverse. I have a zen garden that I use, and I draw whatever comes to me in the sand, take any of my tiny crystal chips from my little box that jump out at me, and trace the drawing in crystals. Then I draw it and whatever I pray for (i do lots of prayers instead of spells) is what that symbol is associated with. Its super intuitive and fluid.

@@madisonmancini8052 I would look into blowing smoke on them from incense or rubbing them with a crystal matching it's intent to power them and then launch them by doing a power vortex, where you swirl your finger around it in circles getting bigger and bigger as you lift your fingers away as you keep swirling, like a tornado, and then flick it away, or coming towards you in big circles getting to be smaller and smaller circles till you tap the sigil on your skin to focus the energy on you, if you want to attract something to you physically. Remember, visualization and intent is what is important.

I just wanna add some advice I literally just learned, if you are burning sigils to activate them, get a incense burner to set the burning paper on or a clay bowl or something. Stay away from glass. I just had an ash tray shatter because of the heat. Also the Sigil doesn’t need to be on a large piece of paper, in my opinion the smaller the better so it’s less mess. Don’t hold the burning paper above the candle because ash will fall into the candle and make it dirty. Please don’t burn yourself either❤️

I used the symbols for Pluto and Venus together intertwined for love and prosperity and burned them and used the ashes for my spellwork.... So I'm guessing that was my sigil, at the time I had no idea what sigils were...I just felt that I needed a symbol to help me with my spellwork. I put my full intentions into it. "My husband and I are growing our family and we have everything we need." I said my confession and lit my "sigil and then used the ashes to meditate with and I thanked the Goddess of fertility Venus and the God of wealth Pluto for helping me achieve my desires as well as God (Christian God) for making me. I then used Christian scriptures to declare that I will bare a child and my husband and I will have all that we need (finances, furniture for new house, a good working vehicle, jobs,etc.)
I am still new to the practice and am still "in the broom closet", but I thought I would share my experience.

This is nice to Know! Sigils were actually the first thing I learned and my friend whos been practicing witchcraft for years was the one who taught me how to make them and how to use them. I'm thankful for them teaching me and Their knowledge along with your channel will help me lots.
Also the way my friend taught me how to make sigils is by writing out what the sigil will do or help with on a piece of paper. You then remove the vowels and repeating letters before putting the remaining letters into a picture or symbol with each letter connected in some way or another. You then use your energy and maybe a few other things like candles, crystals, etc. to charge the sigil and give it power.
Thats how I've used sigils and this is another way of doing it if it seems easier for you! :)

I love this question! It's the 42 million dollar question. I have been (and prefer being) a solitary because I am SO awkward and I also just don't like groups. However, one way to connect with other witches is via social media, friends, or even your local metaphysical shop. They may have connections that they keep secret just for curious individuals like yourself and because, let's face it. Witchcraft is so mysterious and each path is very personal/individualistic, it will never be mainstream, but that's a good thing. Go out into nature, feel around and get to know others and I'm sure you'll find a like-minded group in no time. Also, all you have to do to find someone (living or dead) is pray/affirm your intent and whom you're looking for when you meditate, think about the person you wish to find, say their name throughout the day and before you go to sleep, reaffirm once more and remain positive that you will encounter some sign of how to find them. Whether or not you dream vividly, the universe should reveal something to you. Happy Witching!

I’m a beginner and unfortunately practicing in secret for this current stage of my growth & journey and being a beginner it can get a bit overwhelming to try and absorb all this wonderful wisdom but your channel has really helped take pressure off and explain things in an easy to understand for a fresh one like me so thank you!
I also realize for myself that I can’t be impatient and try & tackle multiple areas of witchcraft, magick, divination, astrology, astronomy, goddesses, etc. and need to slow down and focus on one thing at a time.
I think it’s because since I was 11 I have always felt this incredibly comforting pull towards the occult/witchcraft and I remember being 11 year old me making my own spell books with my close friend at the time and even felt a warm pull & magnetism towards even just books, tarot, etc at a young age but had to resist because of what religion my family & I practiced. I’ve always had such a strong pull and over the years I did dabble with chakras, lucid dreaming, third eye awakening, spirit communication, but over these last couple of months I decided to follow what my soul spirit heart and mind have been yearning for and it’s so liberating (I just want to learn and grow as much as I can being 36 and feeling like I need to make up for lost time.)
Do you have any advice on how to stay grounded, how do you recommend I learn that will feel less hectic for me because I’m just so excited to have listened to my entire being and follow this path but I also realize I cannot learn everything at once either lol.

When I was in Airforce Basic Training each Sunday we were allowed to go to a spiritual service for 1 hour in the morning (which was nice because that was the 1 hour where the drill sergeant wasn't yelling at us) . The first week I went to the usual Protestant service like I had grown up with, the second Sunday I went to a catholic service, and the third Sunday one of my squamates said the Wiccan service was going to have free cookies for Halloween. So I went, they actually didn't have cookies but I did get a basic 1 hour intro to Wicca. :)

If i were to make a sigil on paper and then burn it and mix the ashes into soil, would it effect the plant?
I have a very clumsy friend who often ends up burning themselves when they cook, so i thought id gift them an aloe. However, ive recently started to teach myself witchcraft and was wondering if i could use a sigil in some way to boost the aloes effects on burns.
From a purely scientific perspective if it's just ashes of paper it will be fine. From a magical perspective it depends on the intent.

I think, like with all magic, it's all based on you. After coping something a few times you will natural start to change it like a cooking recipe. If you use what you have, even if it isn't exactly like what the example used, as long as your focus is centered... the magic will manifest. I just realized I've been creating Sigils for years without realized they had a name. Basically, you can use what you find online as a guide and go from there.
Google sigils and look at the pictures and their meanings. Get a pen and paper and just do what feels right. You can edit or adjust etc. But Google images of ones that already exist especially with their meanings to get an idea etc. 😁

I am learning about witchcraft very recently, and before this, I have been a casual face reader, made few predictions, I am doing this since the age of 14 I guess. As you showed this way of making sigils, it was a totally new thing to learn. But I swear I have done something similar to it for one of my readings without even realizing it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge I hope I learn more new things.

I had activated the I am prosperous sigil and my heart fluttered I am smiled really hard for about a minute and internally i made happy seedling noises. I loved the feeling. I feel so much happier than I was.
