- In Esther Chapter 3 we see that Haman, son of Hammedatha the Agate, made a decree to kill all the Jews because Mordecai refused to bow down to him and pay homage. May I submit to you that the hardships of depression and sorrow is not a personal attack but something sent because of the Spirit of God that lives on the inside of you through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
The story continues that King Ahasuerus honored Haman's request by removing his signet ring to give it to Haman and instructing the royal scribes to summon all the provinces to destroy, kill, and annihilate all the Jewish people (young and old including women and children).
The enemy knew that Jesus would be a Jew and had made several attempts since the beginning of time to cause God's people to not progress or advance, but He has always failed.
Know that God has reversed the death sentence that was made against you. Know there is nothing that God can not undo! It did not matter that the decree was sealed with the giving of the4 signet ring nor did it matter that the royal scribes sent letters to all provinces... God still reversed the death sentence and allowed the trap Haman created to kill the Jews kill Him.
Know that the death sentence has been returned to sender so you do not have to do anything! Vengeance is not yours, it is the Lords! Keep showing up and showing love. Keep showing up and being who God has called you to be! Keep showing up and do what GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO.
Do not take the attack personal. The church will never be accepted by culture, but Gentiles will come to the light of your rising! Keep being a light in this dark world. God knows what you are growing through and He did not bring you this far to leave you!
