I’m new to your channel. I have always loved fragrance and I am just in the last couple of years considering fragrance collecting as a hobby. I don’t have the $$ to pursue it as much as I would like to. I listen to people like you describe these fragrances and I want them all. I have only begun to get to know and appreciate the Middle Eastern fragrances over the past year. I love them. Thank goodness for them they are so much more affordable and I find the quality as good and in most cases superior. I love the bottles and packaging. They are so beautiful and the experience of unboxing them feels so glamorous and special. I love learning about them, deciding which ones to purchase. I live in a somewhat rural/ish area without a lot of retailers that offer the niche and more expensive houses and designer brands. Only the mainstream ones that are available at Ulta, Belt etc so I don’t have the opportunity to smell the fragrances that the ME houses are duplicating.
All that to say I love listening to people describe fragrances and how fragrances smell differently for the individual. I have Musamam White Intense. I love it so much. It’s one of my favorites of all time. I am reaching for it all the time. It performs so well. It even layers well which I find surprising since it is such a dominant fragrance. I find a light spritz of it with something much softer is lovely. Anyway, I found it so interesting how you describe it. I would not use any of the same words except for beautiful and favorite. I don’t find it tropical, creamy. I don’t get coconut . Don’t get me wrong. I love it!! And I love your description, it’s so interesting how not only do fragrances react differently on our skin but we also pick up different notes and we all use different words. I love it, it’s so personal and unique to ourselves. To me it smells sharp but not screechy or jagged. It has a strong punch up front, I get a hint of maybe yellow floral, a hint of citrus but it smells very intense with incense, woody and smokey for sure more like palo santo, cedar and sandalwood. I think it smells so expensive. I love how you describe the fragrances. Now you have made me want Crafted Oud and Exclusif Tobac soooo bad!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and suggestions.
Hi Micha! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. What you said is true and it’s ok. We all perceived different notes in fragrances as I don’t get incense or palo santo in Musamam White Intense.

Fantastic list, Joanna. My current obsession is Afnan's Mystique Bouquet. I'm not really a floral fragrance person (or so I tell myself) but I sampled this and I absolutely loved it at first sniff. Gorgeous florals, that citrusy opening and beautiful dry down. Plus, the packaging is top tier and the blue green bottle with that ombre effect . 👌🏻 It wins on all counts.
Oh yes! Mystic Bouquet is so beautiful and the bottle is absolutely gorgeous 💯
It's said to be a dupe, or at least similar to Valaya

Tried zaffiro out of your recommendation..first day i got a sickling scent...but now with time its settling better . But the first spray wasn't my favorite. Top nots,not my favorite,but fry down is great. Thank you for all your plugs. Leen is outstanding in my collection
Thanks for sharing! Do you have CRAFTED OUD under the Zaffiro Collection? Because they have others in the same bottle that is not really great imo..
I love your videos and I just a new one is by TAhara vanilla musk and is soft and fresh but I’m Brazilian with skin tone like yours combination skin and I loved this is my first fresh fragrance my taste is always very gourmet and sweet and I can’t stop smelling on my clothes

I think I will get a full bottle of Leen at some point. I started off with a sample, sprayed on my skin n clothes, didn't really like d opening but I came to appreciate d dry down. And d scent stays on clothes for a long time. Not really d kinda mango scent I'm looking for, but it's quite pretty n elegant.
I agree. It’s a different take of mango. I find it unique and elegant, perfect for spring and summer
I love TF Tobacco Vanille and Oud Wood...I'd wear them in the cold months for sure..I haven't tried CH mystique Tobacco bc patchouli isn't my favorite note unless its undetectable as in the Lancome la Vie Est Belle line. I have been thinking about it. Great recommendations 👌 😊
Hi! The patchouli in Exclusif Tabac is earthy and quite prominent to my nose. Not a fan of patchouli as well but I really like this one. It can lean a bit masculine but if you enjoy Oud Wood and Tobacco Vanille you might like ET as well. It’s not redundant to have it ☺️

I haven’t tried that one yet. I’m happy with my Hibiscus Mahajad so far. I’ll check if I can get a sample to compare..

Thanks Joanna , very good videos , however I bought crafted wood of zaffiro collection. It’s a great smell and long lasting, however I found it too masculine and am giving it to my brother.

Hi Joanna:) I also love musamam white - it is my nr1 from Lattafa:) La Fleur and Mystique bouquet from Afnan are currently my favorite spring scents:) Now I am thinking to get a mango scent - which one is sweeter: Leen or Ajayeb Dubai Portrait? If you have to choose one - which one it would be?
Ajayeb is super sweet and has a really prominent mango. Leen has a more discreet mango, mixed with pink and black pepper. It's more spicy than sweet.
Hi Laura! I personally prefer Ajayeb Dubai Portrait because of its woody facet.
But if I have to recommend just one: Leen if you prefer it feminine/floral and Ajayeb if you prefer it more unisex/woody.

😅😅 They are not similar at all. Leen is more floral so if you like floral like jasmine, you might still need Leen 😂

Teriaq is 95% similar to Aqoulina Pink Sugar and nothing else to me, l get people like it, but it's nothing special and no better than pink sugar...I personally prefer pink sugar.
I have both la Belle and Pink Sugar l had teriaq ...many people say Teriaq is so similar to jpg La Belle but it has nothing to do with it!!
Hello! I find Pink Sugar linear and lacking depth. It smells very nice but I prefer Teriaq for its complexity and performance.

I would also say Teriaq is not linear whilst Pink Sugar is, that's the reason why l actually prefer Pink Sugar cause Teriaq to me changes into that sweet saliva aroma that l also get in Ragba but somehow l don't mind it that much there.
@@raibarodi3603 Hi, if you asked me I'm not the best person to ask about tea note because l usually don't like that note. In 'middle eastern price range' there is a fragrance from Jennifer Lopez l had before, it's called Still and it's beautiful fragrance but tea note bothered me so much, there's also Elizabeth Arden White tea, l have the Wild rose flanker, the og is way to much tea for me, Ariana grande God is a Woman. Tea note usually smells grassy or like a hay to me.
From the middle eastern ones the only one l can think of from what l tried is Liam maybe, l've just got it and still haven't set my mind mind on it but l might end up actually liking it, longevity seems crap tho ,at least for now...

Mystique and Musamam were blind buys that honestly felt like winning the lottery. Sooooooo good! Musamam is so sophisticated and elegant, same for Mystique, but Musamam has that bougie on a budget quality, niche-esque originality, I loooove it! And Mystique is beautiful and feminine, period. Such amazing purchases. TBH I was ready to love Ajayeb but I didn't :( I only own a decant but I really don't like it, I feel almost like a tobacco note (I know it's only my perception) so it feels like I'm hugging someone who is using a beautiful fruity fragrance but that person is a smoker. Too bad!
Heyy.. I do get the tobacco smell you are getting from Ajayeb Portrait. It’s good tou only have a decant. Maybe you prefer more feminine leaning scents. Musamam and Mystique are clearly winners!✨💞

Jasmine+green mango then you have Leen. It’s spring/summer fragrance.
I haven’t tried Le Fleur but heard a lot of good things about it.
