11:27 home boy bought a temu dewalt. We use dewalt tools commercially, big boy jobs every day. If you break a dewalt drill like that it was already broken from throwing it during one of your flying tool tantrums.
With the orientation of that DeWalt drill head, there is no way in how that that handle would have fit there with that 5 amp hour battery. It seems like he either did it on purpose or somehow when it bottomed out the torque pulled the handle down into that plate and snapped it. If anything that just shows how much torque the DeWalt drills have
We've been in our home for 26+ years. I know everything about it now. The good, the bad(repaired) and the ugly! It would give me nightmares if I were to buy another home!
In my opinion, he activated it at maximum speed and didn't hold it still in his hands, it slipped and broke. It would have happened with any brand, if the user is incompetent or has butter fingers
@Ale_giroI wholeheartedly agree. Operator error... some people don't belong near any power tools. Dude should feel lucky that his hand didn't soften the impact! 😂
Only about 10% of the builders out there now do good work. The rest are just unqualified to know the difference. Sad to see so many homes new and are full of issues in all trades.
@MentalRaccoonGlass Yes, it is everyone's loss really. I always worked hard to be at the top of my field. In doing that we can know our worth and not stay long where we're not appreciated in pay and policies. The grass is greener if you're willing to go get it.
Just when I didn't think I'd see worse construction out there, I see this 😬. I used to labour for Croats, and when I tell you they're not only hard-working, but know there stuff, that's an understatement. Builders get scre wed over just as much, if not more than those they're building for too
11:45 Be honest, dude. You got the bit bound up because you were drilling through two dissimilar materials and because you have a tool with no clutch, it swung around and smashed on the railing. Buy Milwaukee anyway. It’s superior.
The floating roof trapped a lake of water under the lightweight. They probably did it in sectiins and now have an entirely different sealed issue that will find its way into the building if not addressed.
@ntigdona7487 The bottom of trade work is residential, where wages are pathetically low, brought on by unfettered, uncontrolled illegal immigration. These people are used to standards back home, which is to say, slap it together as cheaply as possible. You ever notice how many of these videos come from overseas? I’m a master electrician. I’ve built hospitals, factories, power plants, chemical facilities, etc. I’ve done work in nuclear power plants. I get paid over a hundred an hour to show up. Paying for quality cuts into profits. That’s a big no-no.
Oh my goodness close the main water supply/line. My parents did a renovation on their summer home about 2 years ago and they hired two different companies to do inspections before and after the job was done. The renovation company was beyond professional. They knew that my dad’s a judge, mom and sister are attorneys and cousin is an ADA.
08:34 ... the quick temporary fix is to remove the hinge pins, take the door off, then put the door back on after it is not blocked by the toilet. THEN, as time permits, put the hinges on the opposite side of the door frame and get a right-opening door (or left, depending on if this video is flipped or not) get a door that opens in the other direction.
7:20 something a bit iffy here, first shot show him drilling Second hole, next shot shows water coming out of First hole with no second hole visible?????
Iam no way near a professional when it comes to repairs. And I thought iam the only one who does this. This is why I don’t work doing this to other people
With water damage like this in timber-framed houses (drywall), is there anything that can be salvaged? Stone and concrete can be dried (mechanically), but here it's not just wallpaper, furniture, laminate flooring, etc. that are affected, but also the walls and the load-bearing floor. And then you see so often in the videos that people just stand around instead of turning off the water (main valve)! In the worst-case scenario, the hole in the wall is plugged, forcing the water to find its way inside the wall and behind the paneling. It's insane. What's the insurance coverage like in the US (home contents)?
there are huge areas around the world where the 'hole in the floor' toilet is normal. This actually caused problems in some immigration camps/detention centres, where the residents didn't know what a sit down toilet was, refused to use them etc..... and the Western govt that was operating the camps had to source some in ground/floor toilets so that detainees would actually use them.
The problem we have is there no real push for apprenticeships. As these fresh nob heads from school want a job that pay 2000 a week and wont learn . Trades like needed here take years to learn not watching uncle dav for 10 mins an then deciding to open a business doing a shite job dav did .
the problem is that the places that do offer apprenticeships think those apprentices can live of experience. they want those guys but don't want to pay them for the work they do. so of course people decide to wing it on their own, instead of becoming a slave for another guy.
That's not true! Kids don't want to put in the work it takes to be really proficient at what they do! You can't hire a high school kid for $20.00 an hour if you are already billing out for a licensed worker or your costs to the business outweigh what you can bill the customer for an apprentice! My husband got $5 dollars an our when he started in the construction trade! He worked hard and we were poor! But he worked hard to earn his plumbing license, then his general construction license and then his electrician license! We struggled financially but he worked hard for our family! California has raised the minimum wage to $25.00 an hour and because they have paid out $36.7 million dollars in fraudulent unemployment benefits to illegal Aliens and people in prison and not even living in our state or in many cases not in our country! They raised the payroll taxes on every single small business that is already struggling to stay in business! They did that to cover the $20 billion dollars they borrowed from the Federal Government(tax payers, the governmenthas no money of it's own! It all belongs to the taxpayers) to cover a portion of the interest only on $32.6 billion dollars! So we are triple taxed on that money! We're paying the state tax on the 32.6 billion dollars, we're paying the Federal tax on the $20 billion and we're paying payroll taxes, all to support people who shouldn't have be getting our hard-earned tax benefits to begin with! Work hard and you can succeed but if you continue to support politicians who just keep spending OUR money for insane projects, it will destroy free commerce and take everything you own to support the people who will not work or those work illegally and who under-cut legal workers for far less than a business owner who tries to do things right can do!! Work hard and do it legally to make yourselves and your families a great life!
This entire video is basically what happens when you "find somebody who can do it cheaper". Don't. Find somebody with good reviews and experience with the work you want to have done and use them, even if they are more expensive. In general, you get what you pay for in life.
8:32 Sir, unscrew that door and put in the right place... this problem is the lightest and really easy to fix in all this vid. Ok, you pay for a good job, right... but is not a very high cost to solve it.
Why don't home inspectors and bosses just go home and cry; when they see stupid things done to homes. I would, and i was an employee seeing this stuff.
Also nur Click-Bait hier echt!!! 🙂
Americans are used to building houses out of cardboard and Styrofoam, but they're obviously not yet capable of building houses out of brick and concrete. In a couple of centuries, they'll get there!
9:55 now thats a floating floor
Must have been one of them jacuzzi walk-in bath guys they tried to charge me $7,800 and I went to home Depot and got it all for $400 and get it myself
I will never install white tile with black grout
Safety first
Man i thought i hated my job
Not as bad as this guy
11:27 home boy bought a temu dewalt. We use dewalt tools commercially, big boy jobs every day. If you break a dewalt drill like that it was already broken from throwing it during one of your flying tool tantrums.
Real pros use hyper tough and drill master brands lol
Yeah, or instead of reversing the drill he just tried yanking on it.
Probably it was that strong that he could not hold it by hand and the drill slammed the handle into the beam, and that's how it broke.
@makojuicedaniel9307 I'd love to see how they'd fare being drug under a NASCAR vehicle?
Thank goodness for competent inspectors!
This is making me rethink caulking my bath myself lol
At 20;30 FINALLY an inspector who knows what hes looking at and talking about lol
That was painful.
Good video, Well done! 🏡
It's like trucking it use to be father and son. My house was built in1925 it has real 2 by 4s the brick walls are foot thick.
Who doesn't want a custom toilet?
With the orientation of that DeWalt drill head, there is no way in how that that handle would have fit there with that 5 amp hour battery. aus Sachsen in Deutschland
I’ve done some stupid things while working but this stupid stuff 😂
5:25 I guess some homes don't come with external water shut off valves; who knew?
I was wondering wtf was going on. I asked myself why he didn't just shut the water off lol
I own a number of DeWalt tools. That looks like a knock off you get off Amazon
I agree
DeWalt sux
I own several, as well, and that's happened twice.
Only about 10% of the builders out there now do good work. The rest are just unqualified to know the difference. Sad to see so many homes new and are full of issues in all trades.
The trouble is when you have hard workers who do good work like myself and you have bosses that refuse to pay or give respect 🙏 their loss
@MentalRaccoonGlass Yes, it is everyone's loss really. I always worked hard to be at the top of my field. In doing that we can know our worth and not stay long where we're not appreciated in pay and policies. The grass is greener if you're willing to go get it.
anyone else start laughing at 13:50. bing bong bing bong boing
15:30, if you’re getting a 15k quote for a luxury bathroom remodel like that… run haha it’s going to cost you more than 15k
Just when I didn't think I'd see worse construction out there, I see this 😬. I used to labour for Croats, and when I tell you they're not only hard-working, but know there stuff, that's an understatement. Builders get scre wed over just as much, if not more than those they're building for too
To moc dobře znám
13:41 I thought he was rather efficient. 😂
to be honest, the wall at 17:26 looks really cool with that slope
11:45 Be honest, dude. You got the bit bound up because you were drilling through two dissimilar materials and because you have a tool with no clutch, it swung around and smashed on the railing.

0:15 Il est incroyable ce type
May be stare at it longer it might just stop
I wish those CONSTRUCTION FAILS! are not on 600K or 700K new houses!
Thank our government for flooding the construction industry with people who don't care, don't know what there doing, and just want fast $!!!
Vote RED! OR THESE COULD BE YOUR JOB SITES AND DAMAGE!!
how did the goovernment flood the industry with people who don't care?
@ntigdona7487 The bottom of trade work is residential, where wages are pathetically low, brought on by unfettered, uncontrolled illegal immigration. What does the government have to do with it?

Looks okay to me, what's your problem?😂
2;28 I wonder if they locked the door when they finished their shift. 😂😂

"Tiles cut by Stevie Wonder" 😜
Like those constructions guys all said, "Hey y'all! Watch this!" 😬
9:45 its one of them new floating floors everyone's talking about
There's only two tool makers that make high quality tools left and that is Makita and Hilti
7:20 something a bit iffy here, first shot show him drilling Second hole, next shot shows water coming out of First hole with no second hole visible?????
These new construction homes are RIGGER RIGGED! Holy crap! The younger than gen.X are definitely not the same.
Just because one dewalt drill broke. Doesn’t mean all of them do that. I own lots of dewalt tools. They are very good
Iam no way near a professional when it comes to repairs. And I thought iam the only one who does this. This is why I don’t work doing this to other people
Atleast number 2 didn't have to worry about living to his mistakes lil
Looks like a bunch of Horton Homes🤦♀️
This is what I think of my job! (Proceeds to put safety harness around his neck )
How the hell have some of these idiots reached adulthood 😂

why don't these people don't run to shut off the water value??
I absolutely think almost everyone of the workers had to extremely be high as f..k!
2:03 russian wc, hole in the floor normaalna.

Have seen way worse

It's not genuine DeWalt the lettering is wrong
Ew. Don't use plastic for potable water!

11:30 , nothing wrong with the tool. You might want to upgrade to somebody else to operate the tool.
When things go wrong, blame the tool.
dewalt is like the new bosh in europe-garbage
All that stuff falls and some a hole honks their horn?? F u bro ill be right with you

grate videos with stupid comments from creator
, thumbs down
I don't see comments from the creator, but I do see a ton by some strange Ann person, and it's very annoying lol
