one thing about xtina is, she never makes the same album twice! I agree & disagree on somethings but she’s the most versatile artist I know and will have something for everyone and I appreciate that. She also opened my music pallet to other genres & sounds.
Stripped will always and FOREVER be my favorite Christina album she did things vocally and lyrically that made her outstanding. Followed by Back to basics that showed her growth and maturity also her musicianship and taste for jazz. I mean goes without saying she's an amazing artist. You either love and enjoy her singing or you don't I don't always love her songs or her voice 'overdo's' but to me she is great!!!!

OMG, I had to refrain from reading the comments lest I'd be spoiled! I appreciate your ranking! Bionic IS a fun album, that's true. I was completely immersed in it during the 10-year anniversary, so glad you got into her. All of the top albums of hers have this unique artistry. In that regard, it's true her debut, as good as the songs are, doesn't measure up. Mi Reflejo is her Spanish debut, I too think it's superior to CA. Stripped is her magnum opus, the first #aheadofhertime moment, her artistic debut & introduction, the narrative that has so many universal messages. Back to Basics is her artistic prime IMO, it's this distinct interpretation of her "fun music", the soul and jazz she grew up with, but with this joyous flair and catchy hooks & lyrics. Such as Ain't No Other Man, I mean, legendary bop! The work & heart she put into it while offering completely different sound from other artists at the time was another #aheadofhertime moment, she released it even before Amy Winehouse' debut. The collabs/covers from this era are a must-listen, you have to react! Bionic as we all know, was her next #aheadofhertime moment (unless we count Keeps Gettin' Better) and Christina's cocky self-love anthems are so good. Funny story but I wasn't into Bionic in 2010 and it growing on me and hearing new layers of it years later displays her ingenious ability. Agree with you on Lady GaHa, she a copycat from start to finish. Comparing Christina to Bitney in a derogatory way is such a bizarre phenomenon. It's like the people who do that are very, pitifully insecure about Britney's status. If they truly believed Christina is irrelevant & that B is all that, they wouldn't try to convince themselves about it. Furthermore, as they are opposite artists in every way, one has to show complete disregard to logic, facts and insurmountable evidence, to be able to keep the delusion going. Very akin to Donald Trump supporters, flat-earthers, that kind of wankers you know? I take that level of stupidity as personal insult tbh. I'm glad you surpassed your ignorance and were able to find this pioneer! You should get into her legacy and impact, she has this huge line of artists who have cited her as influence/inspiration and even if she never released another album, god forbid, her impact would continue for years onward.
1. Bionic (has birds of prey, monday morning, elastic love, lift me up, little dreamer, hidden gems of her catalogue, but also has a couple of annoying bad songs) 2. Stripped (I like it, there's just one song I don't like *Keep on singing my song*, but I prefer electronic music) 3. Lotus (has lot of bad songs, but the ones that are good, are heavenly good) 4. Liberation (many songs are flat, there's no spark or climax on almost all songs, the album started to grow on me when I listened to some tracks at The X Tour) 5. Back to Basics (the disk 2 would be mi 3rd fave, but the disk 1 I don't like it that much) 6. Mi Reflejo (the first half is sooo good, the last half is baaad) 7. Christina Aguilera (the singles are the only tracks that stand out from that album, love will a find a way is good too)
One thing about Xtina is that when she has a new album coming out you never know what its gonna sound like because she always experiments with different genres and sounds. Stripped is the blueprint and my favorite.

I just finished two reviews! They’re great Sal, and I like hearing your perspective. Christina Aguerlia's music career did not turn out to be what I thought it would 20 years later. Her first album Christina was one of her best! That CD was everywhere. You would have loved the rollout, promo, and videos during that time. It was the hottest thing out at the CD and video stores. What A Girl Wants and Genie in a Bottle were so big. At that time, nobody else kind of did what she did? If that made sense? There were tons of good female pop albums at that time. Robyn, Jessica Simpson, Britney, Mandy Moore. Man, that brings back Sadie Hawkins dance memories haha. I did not care for her second album as much. Way too many promos on TV of Christina’s new album of her being the new bad girl. I remember shaking my head at the Today Shows interview during that time. The promo for that album was so corny in the early 2000s (pre-MySpace days haha). And that song with Ludacris was huge, but it seemed like a cheap ploy? If that makes sense. It was her and Britney Spear's “rebel” days. I liked I’m a slave for you at that time. Christina’s two ballads from that summer really made that the stripped album what it is. Surprised a lot of folks and it made that CD popular. The justified tour haha. I still have the shirt! It’s much appreciated years later. Her 2006 album was her biggest album or at least the height of popularity IMHO. It was either her or Gwen Stafani being played on VH1 during that fall. I thought Candyman, her ballad, and Duffy’s single with her were so big at dance parties. I also remember when Christina’s Keeps Getting Better album came out in target/ mall stores. I was excited. But it wasn’t as cutting edge as her earlier stuff. I started to notice a dip and people really compared her to lady Gaga in the summer for 09. They both played off of that lol. I didn’t care for the two singles from Keeps Getting Better. When Bionic came out a little later, I’m not surprised that it didn’t do that well during that time. It seemed like sort of a copycat of Erika Janes Big Party single(at the time) and Britney Spears comeback singles. You saw Christina on an MTV and E-News special. But it seemed like no one played I’m myself tonight on radio, etc. I heard Woohoo on some tv stuff, but it never really caught on with a lot of people. I remember being disappointed with her and Ciara's albums that came out during that time. I was surprised. A lot of people started comparing her and Christina at my first Gaga concert during college. It’s funny now. I thought her role as a judge on the voice was a nice comeback. Your Body and Moves Like Jagger were surprised comeback singles, but I never heard of that album. I checked out her latest album. I really enjoyed Fall in Line but the rest of the rollout for that album didn’t seem to go anywhere. I remember seeing some of the videos on my grad school's quad, but folks always wondered what happened to her career. It’s interesting to hear your review. I don’t know where her career is headed next. I thought she’d be a big artist still competing with Beyoncé, but you never know who will still be left standing. Thanks for the review, Sal! Question: What is your issue with long albums? We wait for 2...3...4 years + for new music, the longer the better. I love albums with like 18 tracks... In 2008 the movie THE SPIRIT was released. Christina covered Marlene Dietrichs "falling in love again" for the movie and it was played during the end credits. Christinas version of the song has an electronic mysterious james bond type of vibe too it and could probably have easily fit in Bionic as a bonus tracks. The track was never released on iTunes, spotify, or anywhere else but the whole thing is on youtube, its 8 minutes long... you may wanna check it out! Christina Aguilera is the first diva I listened to and she´s still on my Top3 singers/artists. I love her so much and just so you know, your Bionic Reaction was the first video I saw of yours. The first two albums I ever bought were Stripped and Back to Basics. So, she is really special to me. 1- Stripped (Even tho I haven´t heard it lately, this bitch got me thru some SHIT, I love it, her best album as a whole project) 2- Back To Basics (I do think it´s a little long but I love this whole era and the whole aesthetic is just *CHEF KISS* ) 3- Bionic (I always get frustated because this had so much more potential and this whole era whould have been iconic, but I don´t think that it is her most cohesive album but it is sure a banger) 4- Liberation ( I love it, even tho it is kinda messy in some ways It is really a full story and deserved much more *fuck RCA* ) 5- Mi Reflejo (I love every song except the spanish remakes because I always prefer the original version but I love the latin vibe) 6- Christina Aguilera (I love this album but there´s not eough material and personality from her, but hey, this started her iconic career) 7- Lotus ( I was obsessed with this album years ago but now I can see that it is not really the most polished and well put together project)

1. Stripped / Back To Basics I prefer the lyrics on Stripped but the genre of Back To Basics is superior I do love both albums equally, as I do love the all the music of both albums. 2. Liberation is just amazing not much to say about it, best tracks are Unless it’s with you, Fall in Line, Maria, Twice ( all of them tbh ) 3. Bionic fave tracks Birds Of Prey, Little Dreamer you lost me, I love the entire album tho, and the concept is amazing, even tho the concept she was rumored to originally have planned with “Light and Darkness” sounds more interesting to me. 4. Lotus I love the lyrics Especially the Lotus intro, Blank Page, Let There be Love, Sing for me, Best of Me, and Just a fool!! The mixing is eh. But I do looooove those tracks. My Kind of Christmas if counted also lies here. 5. Mi Reflejo superior to Debut, more bops, but I do love both. Fave tracks Contigo en la distanicia, falsas esparanzas, and Pero Me Acuerdo di ti ( like all of them tho ) 6. Debut Christina Aguilera, I love it not at all up to par with the rest.. and she is not really Christina yet, fave tracks I Turn To You, Reflection, What A Girl Wants, Come on over, Somebody’s somebody ( I also “like” all the tracks here ) just still long from her best album. 7. Keeps Gettin’ Better, it’s fine.. The track Keeps Gettin’ is great and Dynamite and Nobody wants to be lonely too, but the rest is mostly remix’s and I don’t really care for them, but do listen to them from time to time.
Okay, while I respect your opinion, I firmly disagree with a few of your statements; one being that Lady Gaga is unoriginal, because while what happened to Christina was unfair, that was also nowhere near Gaga's fault, but much rather the press. That's like saying; Woah the fans and the press are comparing Christina to Britney, how rude of Christina! Plus, I think Gaga has done a lot for the music industry, just like Christina has. The second is; how could you slander Your Body? Your Body is Lotus' Work Bitch. The song that you know they focused the entire record on, put the most effort in and paid off the most. While Let There Be Love is cute and all, it sounds like a basic gay pop song. It's like (wow sorry that I keep comparing her to Britney, but it just fits haha) Clumsy off of Britney's Glory; It's a fun song, but the production sounds dated and you know it was 1000% made only for the gays, which is why it probably wouldn't be released as a single, because while it's a huge portion of her fanbase, it's still only a portion of it - not all of it - and it wouldn't reach far out of her fanbase. I understand why you're not feeling the connection between her debut album and Christina herself, and you're right; she wasn't really herself, she was the pop princess her label wanted her to be. My ranking would be: 1. Back to Basics: This is such an amazing album! Along with Stripped, it's amazing how she could put 23 (or 19 in Stripped's case) songs on album, make it sound cohesive and make all of the songs slap! I put this one on #1 because as an album, this one introduced me into the world of Christina, but it was a tough one between these two. Also, I decided this one over Stripped, because I liked the story both cd's tell a lot and because I appreciate that, unlike Stripped, this one has fewer ballads, but focuses more on somewhat more produced songs. 2. Stripped: Stripped is still amazing though! Flawless album and these first two are definitely both Christina's magnum opuses for sure! 3. Bionic: Again, this whole list was based off of doubts haha. I think I put this one over Christina Aguilera, because I listen to it more often and I think this one, again, presents a story and feels more cohesive. Because of its 23 tracks, there's a higher chance for album fillers, which it definitely has (My Girls, I Am, I Hate Boys, All I Need are all songs I barely listen to), but the other songs more than make up for it. Birds of Prey is my jam for sure! When it first came out I wasn't too fond of it, because I was expecting something along the lines of Keeps Gettin' Better (And I still think the sound of those four tracks off of that greatest hits album would've been killer for an album - along with her cover of Falling in Love Again), but it 100% grew on me overtime, so much so that I even put it over her debut album. 4. Christina Aguilera: I looove this album! It's more of a straightforward pop album, with less artistic choices, but that's logical with it being her first album. I do prefer it over Mi Reflejo, because the other album tracks do outshine the other album tracks of Mi Reflejo. So Emotional, When You Put Your Hands On Me, Obvious and Somebody's Somebody are great, as well as all five singles. The other tracks are fine but no standouts imo. 5. Mi Reflejo: This is also a great album! All the singles, including the newly recorded ones, such as Falsas Esperanzas and Pero Me Acuerdo de Ti, are all fire. Contigo en la Distance and El Beso del Final (which could have also been a single imo!) are also great! I don't necessarily listen to Cuando no es Contigo and Si No te Hubiera Conocido all that much, but they're fine tracks. 6. Liberation: Wow, was this album a rollercoaster! Pipe, Masochist, Deserve, Maria, Right Moves are all ah-may-zing tracks! But then Accelerate is horrible, Sick of Sittin', Unless It's With You and Fall in Line are forgettable and Twice is beautiful but not outstanding. And while I usually love an interlude, with this album the intro, I Don't Need It Anymore and Dreamers added literally zero to the album and felt out of place. Liberation was literally the background music to the promo she made for this album and should've stayed the promo music, because it's beautiful, but feels really odd, especially in such an electronic-heavy album such as this. The intro simply should've been Searching for Maria, which is the only interlude I feel like does fit this album. 7. Lotus: This just wasn't it. This is Christina's Britney Jean. The only songs I listen to off of this are Your Body, Shut Up, Circles and on some days Lotus Intro, Red Hot Kinda Love, Let There Be Love or Just a Fool, but with some of the other songs I'm not even sure if I have ever listened to them completely, because this album just felt quite boring. Sing for Me, Blank Page, Best of Me, Empty Space are all straight up ballads and Just a Fool as well, it just succeeds in its effect more. Army of Me, Cease Fire and Let There Be Love all feel like they wanna be stadium songs, anthemic and stuff and Red Hot Kinda Love, Make the World Move, Around the World, Circles and Shut Up are all quirky and fun, with, again, some succeeding in it better than the others. But those are simply put the three moods this album takes you through and I think that's very limiting. As a matter of fact, I think I might've even listened to the Martin Garrix remix of Your Body more often than songs like Sing for Me, Best of Me, Empty Space, Army of Me, Cease Fire and Make the World Move...

I appreciate your ranking! Bionic IS a fun album, that's true. I was completely immersed in it during the 10-year anniversary, so glad you got into her.
All of the top albums of hers have this unique artistry. In that regard, it's true her debut, as good as the songs are, doesn't measure up. Mi Reflejo is her Spanish debut, I too think it's superior to CA. Stripped is her magnum opus, the first #aheadofhertime moment, her artistic debut & introduction, the narrative that has so many universal messages. Back to Basics is her artistic prime IMO, it's this distinct interpretation of her "fun music", the soul and jazz she grew up with, but with this joyous flair and catchy hooks & lyrics. Such as Ain't No Other Man, I mean, legendary bop! The work & heart she put into it while offering completely different sound from other artists at the time was another #aheadofhertime moment, she released it even before Amy Winehouse' debut. The collabs/covers from this era are a must-listen, you have to react! Bionic as we all know, was her next #aheadofhertime moment (unless we count Keeps Gettin' Better) and Christina's cocky self-love anthems are so good. Funny story but I wasn't into Bionic in 2010 and it growing on me and hearing new layers of it years later displays her ingenious ability.
Agree with you on Lady GaHa, she a copycat from start to finish. Comparing Christina to Bitney in a derogatory way is such a bizarre phenomenon. It's like the people who do that are very, pitifully insecure about Britney's status. If they truly believed Christina is irrelevant & that B is all that, they wouldn't try to convince themselves about it. Furthermore, as they are opposite artists in every way, one has to show complete disregard to logic, facts and insurmountable evidence, to be able to keep the delusion going. Very akin to Donald Trump supporters, flat-earthers, that kind of wankers you know? I take that level of stupidity as personal insult tbh.
I'm glad you surpassed your ignorance and were able to find this pioneer! You should get into her legacy and impact, she has this huge line of artists who have cited her as influence/inspiration and even if she never released another album, god forbid, her impact would continue for years onward.

1. Bionic (has birds of prey, monday morning, elastic love, lift me up, little dreamer, hidden gems of her catalogue, but also has a couple of annoying bad songs)
2. Stripped (I like it, there's just one song I don't like *Keep on singing my song*, but I prefer electronic music)
3. Lotus (has lot of bad songs, but the ones that are good, are heavenly good)
4. Liberation (many songs are flat, there's no spark or climax on almost all songs, the album started to grow on me when I listened to some tracks at The X Tour)
5. Back to Basics (the disk 2 would be mi 3rd fave, but the disk 1 I don't like it that much)
6. Mi Reflejo (the first half is sooo good, the last half is baaad)
7. Christina Aguilera (the singles are the only tracks that stand out from that album, love will a find a way is good too)

I just finished two reviews! They’re great Sal, and I like hearing your perspective. Christina Aguerlia's music career did not turn out to be what I thought it would 20 years later. Her first album Christina was one of her best! That CD was everywhere. You would have loved the rollout, promo, and videos during that time. It was the hottest thing out at the CD and video stores. What A Girl Wants and Genie in a Bottle were so big. At that time, nobody else kind of did what she did? If that made sense? There were tons of good female pop albums at that time. Robyn, Jessica Simpson, Britney, Mandy Moore. Man, that brings back Sadie Hawkins dance memories haha. I did not care for her second album as much. Way too many promos on TV of Christina’s new album of her being the new bad girl.
I remember shaking my head at the Today Shows interview during that time. The promo for that album was so corny in the early 2000s (pre-MySpace days haha). And that song with Ludacris was huge, but it seemed like a cheap ploy? If that makes sense. It was her and Britney Spear's “rebel” days. I liked I’m a slave for you at that time. Christina’s two ballads from that summer really made that the stripped album what it is. Surprised a lot of folks and it made that CD popular. The justified tour haha. I still have the shirt! It’s much appreciated years later. Her 2006 album was her biggest album or at least the height of popularity IMHO. It was either her or Gwen Stafani being played on VH1 during that fall. I thought Candyman, her ballad, and Duffy’s single with her were so big at dance parties. I also remember when Christina’s Keeps Getting Better album came out in target/ mall stores. I was excited. But it wasn’t as cutting edge as her earlier stuff. I started to notice a dip and people really compared her to lady Gaga in the summer for 09.
They both played off of that lol. I didn’t care for the two singles from Keeps Getting Better. When Bionic came out a little later, I’m not surprised that it didn’t do that well during that time. It seemed like sort of a copycat of Erika Janes Big Party single(at the time) and Britney Spears comeback singles. You saw Christina on an MTV and E-News special. But it seemed like no one played I’m myself tonight on radio, etc. I heard Woohoo on some tv stuff, but it never really caught on with a lot of people. I remember being disappointed with her and Ciara's albums that came out during that time. I was surprised. A lot of people started comparing her and Christina at my first Gaga concert during college. It’s funny now. I thought her role as a judge on the voice was a nice comeback. Your Body and Moves Like Jagger were surprised comeback singles, but I never heard of that album. I checked out her latest album. I really enjoyed Fall in Line but the rest of the rollout for that album didn’t seem to go anywhere. I remember seeing some of the videos on my grad school's quad, but folks always wondered what happened to her career.
It’s interesting to hear your review. I don’t know where her career is headed next. I thought she’d be a big artist still competing with Beyoncé, but you never know who will still be left standing. Thanks for the review, Sal! These bring back a lot of memories.

In 2008 the movie THE SPIRIT was released. Christina covered Marlene Dietrichs "falling in love again" for the movie and it was played during the end credits. Christinas version of the song has an electronic mysterious james bond type of vibe too it and could probably have easily fit in Bionic as a bonus tracks. The track was never released on iTunes, spotify, or anywhere else but the whole thing is on youtube, its 8 minutes long... you may wanna check it out! Christina Aguilera is the first diva I listened to and she´s still on my Top3 singers/artists. I love her so much and just so you know, your Bionic Reaction was the first video I saw of yours. The first two albums I ever bought were Stripped and Back to Basics. So, she is really special to me.
1- Stripped (Even tho I haven´t heard it lately, this bitch got me thru some SHIT, I love it, her best album as a whole project)
2- Back To Basics (I do think it´s a little long but I love this whole era and the whole aesthetic is just *CHEF KISS* )
3- Bionic (I always get frustated because this had so much more potential and this whole era whould have been iconic, but I don´t think that it is her most cohesive album but it is sure a banger)
4- Liberation ( I love it, even tho it is kinda messy in some ways It is really a full story and deserved much more *fuck RCA* )
5- Mi Reflejo (I love every song except the spanish remakes because I always prefer the original version but I love the latin vibe)
6- Christina Aguilera (I love this album but there´s not eough material and personality from her, but hey, this started her iconic career)

4. Lotus I love the lyrics Especially the Lotus intro, Blank Page, Let There be Love, Sing for me, Best of Me, and Just a fool!! The mixing is eh. But I do looooove those tracks. My Kind of Christmas if counted also lies here.
5. Mi Reflejo superior to Debut, more bops, but I do love both. Fave tracks Contigo en la distanicia, falsas esparanzas, and Pero Me Acuerdo di ti ( like all of them tho )
6. Debut Christina Aguilera, I love it not at all up to par with the rest.. and she is not really Christina yet, fave tracks I Turn To You, Reflection, What A Girl Wants, Come on over, Somebody’s somebody ( I also “like” all the tracks here ) just still long from her best album.
7. Keeps Gettin’ Better, it’s fine.. The track Keeps Gettin’ is great and Dynamite and Nobody wants to be lonely too, but the rest is mostly remix’s and I don’t really care for them, but do listen to them from time to time.

Okay, while I respect your opinion, I firmly disagree with a few of your statements; one being that Lady Gaga is unoriginal, because while what happened to Christina was unfair, that was also nowhere near Gaga's fault, but much rather the press. That's like saying; Woah the fans and the press are comparing Christina to Britney, how rude of Christina! Plus, I think Gaga has done a lot for the music industry, just like Christina has.
The second is; how could you slander Your Body? Your Body is Lotus' Work Bitch. The song that you know they focused the entire record on, put the most effort in and paid off the most. While Let There Be Love is cute and all, it sounds like a basic gay pop song. It's like (wow sorry that I keep comparing her to Britney, but it just fits haha) Clumsy off of Britney's Glory; It's a fun song, but the production sounds dated and you know it was 1000% made only for the gays, which is why it probably wouldn't be released as a single, because while it's a huge portion of her fanbase, it's still only a portion of it - not all of it - and it wouldn't reach far out of her fanbase.
I understand why you're not feeling the connection between her debut album and Christina herself, and you're right; she wasn't really herself, she was the pop princess her label wanted her to be. My ranking would be:
1. Back to Basics: This is such an amazing album! Along with Stripped, it's amazing how she could put 23 (or 19 in Stripped's case) songs on album, make it sound cohesive and make all of the songs slap! I put this one on #1 because as an album, this one introduced me into the world of Christina, but it was a tough one between these two. Also, I decided this one over Stripped, because I liked the story both cd's tell a lot and because I appreciate that, unlike Stripped, this one has fewer ballads, but focuses more on somewhat more produced songs.
2. Stripped: Stripped is still amazing though! Flawless album and these first two are definitely both Christina's magnum opuses for sure!
3. Bionic: Again, this whole list was based off of doubts haha. I think I put this one over Christina Aguilera, because I listen to it more often and I think this one, again, presents a story and feels more cohesive. Because of its 23 tracks, there's a higher chance for album fillers, which it definitely has (My Girls, I Am, I Hate Boys, All I Need are all songs I barely listen to), but the other songs more than make up for it. Birds of Prey is my jam for sure! When it first came out I wasn't too fond of it, because I was expecting something along the lines of Keeps Gettin' Better (And I still think the sound of those four tracks off of that greatest hits album would've been killer for an album - along with her cover of Falling in Love Again), but it 100% grew on me overtime, so much so that I even put it over her debut album.
4. Christina Aguilera: I looove this album! It's more of a straightforward pop album, with less artistic choices, but that's logical with it being her first album. I do prefer it over Mi Reflejo, because the other album tracks do outshine the other album tracks of Mi Reflejo. So Emotional, When You Put Your Hands On Me, Obvious and Somebody's Somebody are great, as well as all five singles. The other tracks are fine but no standouts imo.
5. Mi Reflejo: This is also a great album! All the singles, including the newly recorded ones, such as Falsas Esperanzas and Pero Me Acuerdo de Ti, are all fire. Contigo en la Distance and El Beso del Final (which could have also been a single imo!) are also great! I don't necessarily listen to Cuando no es Contigo and Si No te Hubiera Conocido all that much, but they're fine tracks.
6. Liberation: Wow, was this album a rollercoaster! Pipe, Masochist, Deserve, Maria, Right Moves are all ah-may-zing tracks! But then Accelerate is horrible, Sick of Sittin', Unless It's With You and Fall in Line are forgettable and Twice is beautiful but not outstanding. And while I usually love an interlude, with this album the intro, I Don't Need It Anymore and Dreamers added literally zero to the album and felt out of place. Liberation was literally the background music to the promo she made for this album and should've stayed the promo music, because it's beautiful, but feels really odd, especially in such an electronic-heavy album such as this. The intro simply should've been Searching for Maria, which is the only interlude I feel like does fit this album.
7. Lotus: This just wasn't it. This is Christina's Britney Jean. The only songs I listen to off of this are Your Body, Shut Up, Circles and on some days Lotus Intro, Red Hot Kinda Love, Let There Be Love or Just a Fool, but with some of the other songs I'm not even sure if I have ever listened to them completely, because this album just felt quite boring. Sing for Me, Blank Page, Best of Me, Empty Space are all straight up ballads and Just a Fool as well, it just succeeds in its effect more. Army of Me, Cease Fire and Let There Be Love all feel like they wanna be stadium songs, anthemic and stuff and Red Hot Kinda Love, Make the World Move, Around the World, Circles and Shut Up are all quirky and fun, with, again, some succeeding in it better than the others. But those are simply put the three moods this album takes you through and I think that's very limiting. As a matter of fact, I think I might've even listened to the Martin Garrix remix of Your Body more often than songs like Sing for Me, Best of Me, Empty Space, Army of Me, Cease Fire and Make the World Move...
