KOTOKO's vocals are held for longer, and her vocal vibrato is more prominent; Kaori, on the other hand, is slightly softer, holds notes for a shorter duration, and has a more subtle vibrato (almost to the point that it's somewhat difficult to tell most of the time).
This is one of my favorites songs in the world. I discovered it sooooo long ago and it still gives me chills when i listen to it.
