Honestly I think Jin is a reason why BTS are all so comfortable with each other, being the eldest he doesn’t impose his seniority on the members, which is a normal thing in South Korea and even more or less in other countries (I mean, how many of us can truly can be best friends with people younger than us by 5 years?) He guides BTS but doesn’t outright reprimand them and we can see how his attitude in life influenced the 6 other guys in a positive way (ie: how of all them say the most important thing in life is to be happy). Jin’s a wise person
Come to think of it, you're right indeed. As the eldest, he sets the tone for the group's behaviour and bridges the gap between the hyung line and the maknae line. And he does it so subtly over the years, that their group chemistry just develop into a really cozy, fun relationship. I remember him mentioning to Jimin that he purposely behave that way with JK in a video where they watch JK spending time with an older Kpop artist. Yes, if we look carefully, Jin has a lot more depth than he's letting on to the world. He's just puts on a silly immature persona for the world to see because he doesnt want to be bog down by egoistic stuffs. But he is wise.

We can really see how much he adores his brothers through every videos, I really do believe that he is one of the reasons why their group is confident in their craft. Even though he is the Visual he doesn't steal the light from his dongsaengs (btw, they're all good looking) and he is their supporting them even from the start. He treats everyone so good and he has different approaches in treating them. He is very hardworking and he sets good example with them.
They are all amazing, I love them all but the Hyung line has a different space in my heart. (especially Kim Seokjin, this perfect guy, Our Moon) they deserve everything as much as the Maknae Line. We can see how much they support their babies. It's time for us to support them also.
