Tbh honest I feel kinda dirty about k corp agents. They are literally stuck between dying to beheading and turning into goo. It doesn't help that project moon added passive to them to show how scared they are of injection drones in this fights
Meursault chapter must be put heavy work around his relationship with his mother because even in The Stranger, his mother is the last thing he thinks before death.

Way back the prologue, when the sinners first resonated with Dante, chains shot out of his clock, piercing the sinners' chests. The wounds inflicted by the chains are very similar to the one in yi sang. And also the chains that appear during extraction. Perhaps that has something to do with it. We also know that Yi Sang invented the Mirror, and that using the mirror incorrectly can break people, so... there could be layers.
League of Nine is a group of poets and authors back in Imperial Japan colonized Korea. Yisang was one of founding members but died some time after it disbanded (it is considered losing his friend group worsened his already fragile mind) [And yes Yisang is based actual poet who lived back then, his poems are infamously complex and unorthodox that makes PM lore sound ez]
Yi Sang talking mad shit about Dante does make sense in a way. He has never been very talkative to us and is apparently suicidal, so i do understand the resentment. I love how not being able to avoid an explosive in a hallway ended up being a skill issue for the K corp crew. We have been blown up atleast a dozen times they need to level up. I feel like fox Heath may have worked better if the sanity retooling wasnt walked back. He seems like he cant be used fully right now so his damage output kinda sucks.
Chapter 3 : Sinclair suffers emotional damage. Chapter 4 : Yi Sang delivers Dante the emotional damage. (Also Sinclair gets some more emotional damage somehow.) As complex as the contract might be, it may still be okay if the client died in an accident. Right?
considering dante is resonating with the boughs in some way and seems to be connected to the distortions (like how he could understand papa bongy's noises in hell's chicken), i assumed that the hole he saw in yi sang's chest was similar to how moses can see distortions before they happen, broken glass seems to thematically fit yi sang considering he created the mirror tech
I truly believe that Hong Lu is most likely really broken inside, and he just pretends to be stupid because it gets a chuckle out of him seeing how people react to someone so tone deaf in the city. As pampered as someone from a rich family can be, no other rich person has come to the level of divergence his neurons have, so there's certainly something up with the boi The story about the stars sound like bullshit and a half, but- Remember Carmen, her research into the River, and all of that weird psychodimensional stuff with people's mind being interconnected with reality and such. We have currently two abnormalities that we know of, that take the shape of a star. So while it's unlikely, there is a chance that more than a metaphor for the discovery of HP bullets due to a miracle, it might have been some motherfucker gleaning or drawing out an abnormality out of doing schizo stuff like talking to stars and shit. Just like the three Birds and the Apocalypse Bird manifested on their own, and they got mind broken due to some asshole being scared shitless from them.
Tsunul, I'm here to warn you when your done fighting the robots: PM pulls up the later chapter with a "hey, remember the other damage types? Here's a little gift to jog your memory."
Not me coming in late once more. I gotta admit. Yi Sang getting that wonderful PM depression is a setting that of course would hit him of all ppl. Its just gonna go deeper in the hole got already going.
I wonder if there's a reason on why the sinners keep encountering people from their past perhaps there is some form of fate in the project moon universe.
It's already mentioned that the sinners were chosen to make the retrieval of the golden bough easier. Just like Sinclair just somehow sensed that opening the basement of his house would lead to the way they were supposed to go.
I never really considered Hong Lu as a stupid type. Sure, he is unfamiliar and ignorant to the reality of the world "below", but he does not lack intelligence or insight, especially due to how educated he is. Hell, the first rule of high intelligence is to not show all your cards upfront, a key to wisdom is to only speak words when they're needed. He isnt faking, he's just... out of place.
I'm trying to see if these stories have direct comparisons to Dante's Inferno and the circle of hell but so far it doesn't seem as direct as before. At first I thought that we'd follow IRL Dante's steps since you litteraly begin in the Selva Oscura (Dark Forest) and maybe the first chapter with Gregor's story can be read as the Limbo since the enemies in the L Corp facilities seemd stuck in the past of the Smoke War. But after that the casino (chapter 2) would probably fall under Greed, but that should be the Fourth Circle of hell. Which would fit this episodes more with the corporation being assholes. Chapter 3 was definetively the Second Circle of Hell, Lust, with Kromer bottom half turning into Peccatulum Luxuriae. Effectively a lust demon. Seems like the references are all over the place, even the naming of the chapters with the Canto's (Songs in modern italian) not really matching the Comedy's events. At least not beat by beat.
The first three cantos in The Inferno was Prelude to hell, meaning chapter 4 is actually just the beginning of the descent edit: and it also makes sense considering how Yi Sang himself is stuck in a limbo, or you could say (The Unchanging)
All that Emotional Emphasis on Yi-sang... yeah Bruv I think he is very likely to either distort or manifest an E.G.O. if they trying to pry him open if "Is he fine" type of niche. totally will manifest something alright
cant wait for ryoushu to say "K.Y.S."

Yeeh... I legit felt bad, especially since we either way murderize them, tho how shown at the checkpoint, at best just pummel them
Yi Sang really be getting that healthy dose of PM Industrial-grade depressant. Just wait until you see the Mersault moment

Tsunul told Yi Sang: "Bitch, nobody asked". Mersault took it personally and doesn't talk, since... Nobody asked.

To be fair, when around the likes of Don, Ryoshu and Heathcliff my opinion wouldn't be that far off from Yi Sang's about the sweet release of death
Being around Don will give me all the reason(s) to live, wym.
@@seraph_dalgon_9216 for sure don would make me want to live so much (as far away from her as possible)

I thought it was metaphorical. Since if Dante could actually see it, they'd make a big fuss over it.
I hope Yi Sang finds a new reason to live

You’re talking about yi sang being depressed, but not gregor who has been gaslighted almost every chapter.
I wonder if those constellation from stories are related to Dante's Star and Aspect he is trying to achieve.
1:43 oh I’ll believe that when you admit that Faust is mid.
Then you will never belive him
I think who you might be thinking of when you mention the narrator is Angela because that's who the voice reminded me of
