    The non wire gate (black side) has a bit of play in the binders loop reducing the chance of your rope “walking” out trad gear from the wall. If using cams or other pro with its own biner already on the equipment you can use that same loop on the QuickDraw to clip into avoiding a metal on metal connection.

    I think you may have been using your quickdraws backwards.

      What do you mean? The solid-gate biner is loose on the dogbone while the wire-gate has a rubber collar and is rigid with the dogbone. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you mean.
