I really want more like this. Very few youtubers take the time to make sure others can learn from what they're doing. Update: I tried to recreate and it isn't horrible but I definitely need a detail brush or one with a more pointed tip
I recommend the Princeton Neptune round brush! It’ll make a world of a difference to your paintings. And so glad you enjoyed this, I’ll definitely make more like this!

I agree , cus when I tried to fallow the other RUclips’s video, their videos are beautiful but they skip most of the details most of the time , and thru edited , when I have questions about details of cus it always not easy to get the answers . I’m not sure becus they spent time to art school so it’s not good for us asking them for such detailing or revealing ... however, my point is it’s not easy to fallow their tutorial even when they title video “easy” one .
You should have 1 million subscribers not many artists take time out of their schedule to do a real time tutorial. What an amazing human being you are for the world. Thank you for sharing your creative talents in this way. ❤❤
I normally don't leave comments, but I HAD to for your video (and videos in general!). The piano in the background is so peaceful and so is your narration. Your instructions are so clear, you not only explain what to do but why it's important (i.e. color mixing, darker colors go first, etc.). Unfortunately, not many tutorials do that. Please keep up the wonderful work. No need to apologize at all, the lighting was great and there wasn't any background noise at all. And if there was, the rain would add to the ambiance. :)
Loving the hour-long videos, I actually enjoy these more than the 15-minute ones since it gives me time to paint as opposed to pausing every couple of minutes to catch up. It also gives us a great glimpse into your Patreon and what it offers! As someone who's new to gouache, thank you for helping me fall in love with this new medium.

Love following this! You’re instructions were very clear and easy. It’s easier to follow than speed up’ed videos since I don’t have to pause every few seconds or set the playback speed at 0.5x I hope you do more

Do you use photos for your reference ? I am very pleased with my results using your instructions. Gouache is new for me, I am 70 and usually watercolour. The piano is soothing unlike some videos which drain my listening energy 😅 blessings on you and your skills and talent.❤

Thank you for this tutorial it was really amazing , I do agree that the real time tutorial would go a long way specially for people who are new to this like me. Except for one thing I could not really follow the pattern of the bush.

I learned so much with just this video. i'm starting to understand that painting is all about trusting the process. I always stress a lot about having too many layers or leaving things incomplete that i try to do everything from the beginning and the painting ends looking plain because i'm too worn out to think how to fix it :( How do you choose the tones to add shadows and highlights to the painting? ( like the one's for each layer of leafs and grass)
