Anyone know what that gorgeous sounding ride/crash cymbal is? When he lays into it it's just got such a lovely overtone profile that fills out the sound just right. It's an Instanbul. Not a Mel Evans, but maybe something else jazzy? No bigger than 20", might be an 18" even. Doesn't look like it says Agop. Can't read the dang writing though.
Update: I think it's a 20" Istanbul Mehmet Origin that just doesn't have the branding on it on the bottom.
