It’s ridiculous how hard it is to make myself an admin on my own business page. When I get to “page access” and type my name and email nothing pops up. Please help.
When you create a business page from within FB (and not FB Business Manager), by default the person creating the account is added as an admin (from my understanding). I just created a page on the mobile app to test this thesis out and I was automatically made admin. It shows me as admin under the Settings>>Page Role section. I'm on mobile now so it may be labeled differently on desktop. Plus they change display of pages between accounts as they test stuff out and there's a 'classic view' vs a newer view. Aside from that, check this resource: m.facebook.com/help/187316341316631
If I understand the question correctly: When you set up a FB Business Manager account, you are automatically an admin of that account. And that's done first by using your personal account (their tied together basically). So there really isn't a way to show this. However if you are referring to business page, you should be able to adjust the Page Role in the business page settings to add you as admin (though I think that's the default anyway).
@@mobilefunnels Thanks so much for your detailed reply! I'm getting a dialog that says: "You must be an admin for this business account to manually implement Conversions API". (I would show you screengrab if there was a way). Yes, I thought I was automatically an admin too, but I'm getting this message. I don't have any other admins involved anywhere, it's just me (my personal page) and my business page. So wondering how am I not an admin already or how can I add myself?

On a desktop or laptop computer, try navigating to facebook.com/accountquality/. The link won't work on mobile; it will ask you to use desktop or laptop. Once you have navigated to the link, select the round Help symbol (question mark) in the lower left corner. This should open a "Help" navigation pane on the right side of the screen. Locate the grey "Contact Support" button in the middle of the navigation pane. Try working with Facebook support. There are several options; you might have to try each one in order to get through to support (even if the option doesn't directly match your issue, just try because the goal is to talk to someone at FB and get it resolved). If one doesn't work, start all over again and repeat this process. Hopefully this will work for you!
@הומי - שטיחים ועיצוב הבית can you provide more context in terms of where you're not seeing something there that applies? Not sure if you are referring to the list of options that Facebook provides when initiating a chat request, but if that's what you are referring to, don't worry about selecting an option that fits this request for help. Some of their options will result in getting you redirected to a help desk document. You just want to keep trying different options to get a chat started.
Hello! I have a business account which has a facebook page and group associated with it. I also have a personal facebook acccount. I keep trying to add my personal account as admin on my business pages and groups, but it won't let me. Is there something else I need to do?
Is there a limit to how many can be added to each category? Odd thing happening right now where a former editor was put by FB as a moderator and now it won't let me put her back as editor. Any ideas why?

Check in the upper left corner to see if there's a way to toggle between the "Classic" view and the newer view. The page may appear differently if you are using a different browser (e.g. Edge or Firefox), and it will certainly look differently if you are on an iPad. I feel as though there's probably less functionality present if viewing through an iPad. Facebook likes to test things out so it is very likely that your display may differ from mine. I can sign into my wife's account or my mom's and see that things appear a bit differently some times from different accounts. One more thing to consider here is that my business page is added into my Facebook Business Manager account, so perhaps Facebook alters how I interact/see the page even when editing through Facebook (and not Business Manager). If you don't have your page set up in Business Manager, then perhaps this might be why the display is different.
I accidently changed myself from an admin to an editor. Apparently it is impossible for an editor to add an admin or reverse the error, so now my page will be deleted on the 22nd April 2022 because it doesn't have an admin!!! Can anybody help?
@@CampusIngles Go to business meta page. You will find a business page created on behalf of your personal account. Under business settings, somewhere you will find your page. You can click and give permissions to your account to post FOR the page (admin access), but the only downside is having to go back to the Meta Business page to make posts for the actual business page itself. Took me 5 hours of research yesterday and a few headaches to figure my situation out. I’ll give an easier step by step explanation when I get home 👍
