Wonder how our QB backup situation is this year, turned out well last year... if JD6 stays healthy he will prove it himself if not the naysayers will win. However Liepold doesn't run programs about 1 player and will find out in a few months about the QB room. Great to be talking KU football this time of the year... RCJH!

I thought Ballard played well last year for being a true freshmen walk on and Marshall looks like a nice dual threat.

Agree, I like Ballard (thought he did well against KSU considering the situation and being thrown to the fire) and Marshall is talented so there is some confidence with the QB room so can't wait to see the improvement... to be discussing how good KU football might be at this time of year is mind boggling. Let's Go Hawks!

Maybe we won’t get from Jobe the same big plays and stats that Booker put up, but there were comments about him being a big play hunter that unfortunately got out of position in the process. I would love to see Jobe being a more solid defender even if he doesn’t get as splashy stats.

One of the encouraging things about Bai Jobe, beyond the recruiting rankings, etc., is that in the 11 snaps he played, he made two tackles. Obviously, it’s an extrapolation, but an 18% tackle rate seems pretty good. Play half the snaps and get 10 tackles would be crazy impressive for a DE.

Wish Mizzou was playing KU this season.
