Probably just a coincidence, cuz i feel like Stamper and Flingza have a ton of overlap, almost the same strengths but not as many of the weaknesses, ive always felt like Splatanas are just the same concept of the Rollers but more refined, i really hope they give some buffs to the rollers mannn. 😭
Also I felt for chara when he missed that charge slash. As someone for mains wiper I swear to god the slash where you go forward is so buggy it will just go in different directions
i hate being locked into an animation whenever i want to charge slash its genuinely the most annoying shit and has like. zero benefit in 90% of combat scenarios
charge slash for splatanas is pretty great once you learn to use it. using it as a mixup and flicking to change the direction of the projectile really enhances the gameplay imo. just got to make sure to not input it when you don’t want to
Started with Splatoon 3 and wanted to thank you (and Squid School) for the help bringing me up to speed on the game. Tri-Stringer and Stamper are my main; Stamper when solo and Tri-Stringer when I play anchor for my my Splatoon 1 vet wife. While I'm still struggling to find a Stringer streamer to watch, you videos on Stamper have been a godsend to learn little tricks and how to play.
Yooo I main Stringer and Stamper too. Oh also there’s a RUclipsr called NBound that plays stringer however I don’t know if he still uploads/streams or not.
I’m a stamper main but I like using a variety of other weapons especially when playing with friends I tend to use dualie squelchers tentatek splatershot flingza and reef-lux

1:40 Something similar happened to me in Ranked (it was either S+ or X, can‘t remember). The enemy team was so focused on keeping us away from the Rainmaker, since we made it to the left checkpoint on Hagglefish Market. But one of my team members just popped the shield, took it, and ran straight for the goal and was only 1 point away from scoring. It was hilarious.

The ballpoint splatling has to be the Splatoon 2 version of Dynamo players. I feel like 90% of the rare ballpoint users in 3 have played 2 and they’re both weapons who used to have their golden days before being completely forgotten about but the players are still intensely loyal to it to this day. The first few clips honestly just reminds me of when prank kids topped, I believe a YCS, back in 2019. Basically, just a strategy that shouldn't have done as well as it did. And to anyone who actually knows what I'm talking about, prank kids didn't have MeowMeow-Mu back in 2019, so they weren't incredibly fucking broken like they were in 2021.

My solo rank expertise tells me that in that second clip, the trislosher probably wanted to pick off enemies ahead before picking it up, and the e liter and the explosher are running those weapons because they think they don't have to actually play the game. On X rank

Splatoon, where bringing the knife to the gun fight may be the better option. I'm amazed that it can outrage the Splattershot Pros with charged slash and its sub, but knowing it beats jet I feel a little better when I lose 1v1s to Stamper. Respect to all Dynamo mains they believed in their weapon even before the buffs, they usually end up getting 1st or second in a match.

I don't play dynamo but I love it as a weapon because I get to feel something when I parry a dynamo flick.
