Jin is the alien. His spaceship crashed and he had to wait for his people to come fix it but he befriended this little girl (and he's probably been on Earth for at least 10 years given the tree growth around the ship when he returns to it) so she's been his friend for a while. And then he sees the news of the beam of light and he knows it's his people fixing his space ship and it's time to go. He leaves the girl with his helmet and runs to his ship but on his way he's thinking about all the times he's had with this girl and in the end he decides he can't leave her so he lets the ship take off without him and returns to the girl, to "home." It's such a beautiful song and as he's said this is a "goodbye for a while" to ARMY, it's very much like a promise that he may have to go take care of things for a while but he'll always return to us, to his family, to home.
This song is dedicated to Army. The girl represents us, he used the helmet to show he is protecting us, and the letting go of the bike is him saying you can do it without me for awhile….. fighting. 💪🏽….
He leaves but by the end he is returning back home…. The bike bell is us welcoming him home.
To me his tuxedo isnt fitting quite right like how he will feel in his uniform while away.
The brail tattoo on his neck in the truck says Army I saw somewhere.
The space theme is him going to another world another planet (military) that he isn’t use to or been before

Yes, there is a real person in the astronaut suit that Jin looked into. It was their camera director, he told us in the weverse live on 28oct. The little kid is Army.

This little girl represents us. He protects us, cherishes us, and grows up with us. Although he leaves (to perform military service), he will come back. As long as we wait for him, he will still choose to run to us desperately.
Theory for this is that jin is the alien where in the intro his spaceship crashed and in the end where his spaceship was fixed flashbacks bout the girl (AMRY) came so he decided to stay since we are his home.

i can't finish watching your vid this one until the end. it just hurts to watch this. i watched the mv before and i was like, "woah my baby jin I'm so proud" and then i teared up, and ended up sobbing before the mv ends. i'm just so proud, happy, sad, and anxious for the future. on my own interpretation, an astronout is one that is away from home, going through space to different planets. and i feel like if army and bts is his home, now he is going away to explore. one day, bts will be out of reach from us, that's what I'm super anxious for bcs bts has been very special for me. i stan a lot of other kpop groups and soloist but bts is the one that opened those doors for me. i am forever grateful and and will love and support them 😭😭😭 sorry I'm rambling
