i do feel bad. the girls did their best. i loved the idea. the issue was just that it's america and american shows are known for being fuck ups. this would've been the most classic and pretty performance without the technical issues. it was a very twice performance and made sense for the show. at the end of the day they shined. it's just upsetting that they always blame themselves. this was beyond their control and still was an enjoyable performance regardless. they still outdid the majority of artists.

I thought the stage set up is planned and requested by the management of twice? At least that’s what I observed in events like these cause the ppl who come and performance will have the floor plan. And also the clothing choices it’s JYP and the stylist. Then technically JYP should have been using their brains to think up of outfits that will stand out in a dark lighting. The stage and the props were bad but twice still slayed their performance they were singing live and the vocals were so stable, the stage presence was elite compared to many other K-pop groups performing on these award shows I just feel like if u cant even sing live and have a great stage presence then the whole essence of live performance goes off no matter how grand the stage is

You can see other past years female artists that use similar stages like this one TWICE perform. Even of that they gave HAPPINESS and emotions in that performance You can see Kim Petras very happy. Not a Twice fan at all but it's SO difficult to perform when fuck ups like that happen. I've seen some of the biggest stars in the planet stop their performance if something's going wrong. Twice was probably already feeling a lot of pressure, being this their first main event in the US, and to have shit like this happen must've been so nerve-racking, but they did a great job.

Jihyo’s mic not working was billboards fault first of all. Second she didn’t forget the choreograph, her mic which was messed up caused her to be a little late in the dancing. Even though this wasn’t the perfect performance they still did what they had to do. Being the FIRST south Korean girl group to be on women billboard. Twice deserved the award and deserved to be there. Literally almost everyone there was a fan of Twice.
twice don't need much. they have 9 members and their choreography, stage presence etc is good enough to make a performance shine. they had some decent lighting. the issue was mainly the camera work and some behind the scenes issues that messed with their mics etc. it wasn't terrible and it wasn't the girls fault nor their labels fault. american shows are known for being ass. the classic approach here would've worked perfectly in korea or japan. twice often don't have or need alot of props etc. they're very to the point and focused on the girls themselves.
They have 9 members and only 3 maybe 4 that can really/slightly sing and sound comfortable. And only 3-4 members who consistently look engaged on stage. Their choreo is good. Yes, and American shows are probably not used to focusing on a whole group which is one reason why this performance was a little meshy. Yes. And twice’s stage presence as a whole is not enough to “fill” a stage. I think it’s just because they have fans who ride or die for them already and anyways and will say whatever because they’re down bad and find their favorite idols attractive

I watched the performance video countless times. I really like their performance, even though cheap a55 Billboard could have given TWICE better stage decorations. It's so embarrassing that Billboard couldn't give TWICE better stage. Thumps up for Jihyo for singing so loud because her mic had some issues. She showed Billboard that she is the mic! Billboard made the right choice to invite Twice!!! Twice performance was the most stunnung performance among the other performances during the entire award ceremony! Every Twice girls did their best. All the fault or mistakes you mention only proves Twice has the ability to overcome any unexpected unfavorable situation and Jiyho's voice is still beautiful and powerful with or without mic. Every Twice girl looked excepinally gorgeous and dancd elegantly with their outfit matching the stage or not. In one word: Twice did a good job and amazed the audiences and fans！

You can see other past years female artists that use similar stages like this one TWICE perform. Even of that they gave HAPPINESS and emotions in that performance You can see Kim Petras very happy. Not a Twice fan at all but it's SO difficult to perform when fuck ups like that happen. I've seen some of the biggest stars in the planet stop their performance if something's going wrong. Twice was probably already feeling a lot of pressure, being this their first main event in the US, and to have shit like this happen must've been so nerve-racking, but they did a great job.

Jihyo’s mic not working was billboards fault first of all. Second she didn’t forget the choreograph, her mic which was messed up caused her to be a little late in the dancing. Even though this wasn’t the perfect performance they still did what they had to do. Being the FIRST south Korean girl group to be on women billboard. Twice deserved the award and deserved to be there. Literally almost everyone there was a fan of Twice.
The stage honestly was so boring, like no thought or anything of adding some props or any sort of decoration. It was indeed a last minute preformance
twice don't need much. they have 9 members and their choreography, stage presence etc is good enough to make a performance shine. they had some decent lighting. the issue was mainly the camera work and some behind the scenes issues that messed with their mics etc. it wasn't terrible and it wasn't the girls fault nor their labels fault. american shows are known for being ass. the classic approach here would've worked perfectly in korea or japan. twice often don't have or need alot of props etc. they're very to the point and focused on the girls themselves.
They have 9 members and only 3 maybe 4 that can really/slightly sing and sound comfortable. And only 3-4 members who consistently look engaged on stage. Their choreo is good. Yes, and American shows are probably not used to focusing on a whole group which is one reason why this performance was a little meshy. Yes. And twice’s stage presence as a whole is not enough to “fill” a stage. I think it’s just because they have fans who ride or die for them already and anyways and will say whatever because they’re down bad and find their favorite idols attractive

I watched the performance video countless times. I really like their performance, even though cheap a55 Billboard could have given TWICE better stage decorations. It's so embarrassing that Billboard couldn't give TWICE better stage. Thumps up for Jihyo for singing so loud because her mic had some issues. She showed Billboard that she is the mic! Billboard made the right choice to invite Twice!!! Twice performance was the most stunnung performance among the other performances during the entire award ceremony! Every Twice girls did their best. All the fault or mistakes you mention only proves Twice has the ability to overcome any unexpected unfavorable situation and Jiyho's voice is still beautiful and powerful with or without mic. Every Twice girl looked excepinally gorgeous and dancd elegantly with their outfit matching the stage or not. In one word: Twice did a good job and amazed the audiences and fans！

1. Bb,mtv or any other award r gigs, it's jype who strikes the deal not a last minute invitation.
2. A gg like twice underperforming their own stage after so many tours and rehearsal,so many stages around the world is not bb fault but theirs, they were the ones who messed up that stage, u can rehearse in ur own company for awards, the stage was big, it's their song,their choreo so it's the girls who weren't prepared at all.
3. There is plenty of artists who had many mic/inears problems yet they still performed without making it obvious,she was focused on her in ears problem the hole time!! If she was that professional she could just take it off and do her part,it's not like she was singing the whole song anyway!.
4. Imagine getting a big opportunity yet messing up ur own choreo like a rookie!!! I think this chanel was much harsher on bp tours than twice for some reason 🤔,for me she was simply unprofessional,she knows it,she owned it and apologised.

I agree with the stage but again be it the mic or the lightning artists work with their own staff,if it's up to bb staff there wouldn't be any extra lightning, jype was in charge of their mic and gadgets not bb,jype was in charge of their stage not bb, if jype prepared some extra effect on the screen they would've just program it not a big deal,jype sent them with no preparation. Even if the girls didn't rehearse there their staff should have attended and discuss/prepare those things.
