I asked if any white paint was used for the faint part of the petal, and the answer was no. The master only loaded water on the brush before dipping its tip into the purple paint to achieve the amazing effect.

請問老師畫花瓣時沾紫色之前毛筆上只有清水嗎？還是有混一些淡白粉？這種花瓣美極了！
毛筆只有清水，老師一向不喜沾調粉。除非有些必要的題材，不沾粉顯不出其厚度。不沾粉视覺上較雅緻，花瓣有透明感，也易生動。
