Encounter TV My age is 26 years and most of my life was rebellious to Christ. I mean I used to do whatever I could have done to displease God sometimes knowingly and sometimes unknowingly.. I continued to carry on my life as a professional sinner, ... Lies, jealousy, ego, anger, lust, distrust, fear, guilt, impatience, discordance, laziness all these were parts of my daily lifestyle.. I came into a relationship with a girl named Akanksha Paul.. I know that was not God's plan for me.. It came all out if physical attraction .. and I won't like to get into details here but as a Teacher you may understand what were the outcomes of desires of flesh.. After spending some 2 years with her we broke up.. After then, I was desperate to get her back as well as anger was there inside me.. I was also guilty of my past deeds,..I was guilty of fights and the way I abused her many a times.. I was getting into depression with some hopelessness with life and suddenly I don't know how it happened, (because I don't remember exactly how it happened) I purchased Bible and started going to nearby Catholic Church .. I was fine with my life then .. I went this way for one month or so.. when I began felling well I stopped reading Bible.. my Church life also stopped afterwards.. I forgot how God saved me from that tragedy.. It came to be in the month of October / November 2015 if I am not missing facts! .. that all of the sudden some inner grudges against Akankhsha and my own life started appearing again... I came into rage and within moments I started kicking Holy Bible and The Photo of Jesus I had in my room rampantly.. when I was doing that act, I was aware that I am committing grievous sin that I haven't committed ever before.. one of my friend (at that time) watched me doing that and took Bible and Holy Things from my room and rebuked me .. within few moments I was quite but thinking why I did that.. !! I was succumbed to the situations but why I did that..!! In next few days I got back to my Christian Life, but since time being still thoughts of those deeds disturb my mind.. I feel as If have committed some unpardonable mistakes.. whenever I see the same Bible which I kicked once a temptation arise to do that act once more.. but now I know that those thoughts are not my own, because to me Bible is the blessing from God not a Curse like Satanic Lifestyle I used to leave few years ago.. Sir, why I am telling this to you, is because those memories are hindering me in my spiritual journey.. I have decided to follow Jesus and (no turning back) but still those thoughts prevail.. I feel that God hasn't forgiven me... I feel now that I am cursed to live with those thoughts till my eternal death.. Kindly do opine what should I do.. I get temptation to leave my Christian Life because in my thoughts sometimes it comes like 'Niteesh you have already committed that sin now what you want to show!?, There is no scope left for you.. you shall bear hell fire..' Sir, I will be very grateful to you if you as a teacher will guide me through the process of recovering back to a good and well being state.. The Holy Spirit used you to speak directly to me, that I need to spend more time in prayer, so that His power can overflow and impact others around me. Many of my friends are struggling spiritually or having problems within their families. I have been praying for them but not nearly as much as Jesus would have. I love this message. I finished reading a book about Deborah that God had given me a vision to read along with other books. I wanted to study Kuhlman, Wiggleworth and Seymour but God revealed to me I need to study more about Jesus than them and be more like Jesus. God had to correct me in my intentions that I can't be like them but learn from them. I saw a book that interest me but I am tired of buying books. He told me to STOP. Then your service came to my feed. Right away, you touched something. However, God told me to meet him at the mountain. Now I understand the full content from another Pastor. I have to have balance but I do like reading books and listening to other ministries for confirmations.

David Swank, I'm sorry, but healing is NOT something you "learn" to do. Its only the Holy Spirit that can heal. Nobody has any "healing power". God alone heals.

I felt I should share my story with you. An elder family member fell and was hospitalized they did everything they could. He was then sent home so he could be cared for by family. The following day his condition got worse. I feared he wouldn't make it through the night. After watching your video I prayed to Jesus for hours to heal him. When I woke in the morning I was amazed. I expected him to feel better but I never imagined he would be doing this good. Thank you brother David, I will continue to strengthen my faith and prayer life. All things really are possible with God.

Thank you Dave for the teaching, just for your info, I am not Apostle Maldonado I'm just inspired by him. Thanks for the teaching, I received the prophecy that I have the healing gift but every time I pray for the sick they don't get healed and I was frustrated by that. You know here in SA people are used to preachers preaching gospel but they don't see the power of God, and as an evangelist I don't want to start evangelizing without the power of the Holy Spirit being made manifest because people are tired of hearing what God can do and He never do it. Please pray for me I need the impartation from you Dave, because I have been fasting and praying about this but it feels like something in my heart is missing and I don't that warmth of the Holy Spirit I used to get when I was a newly born again child of God. Revelation is like cut off from my life, I need to encounter God, revelation to be restored and visions which I used too have that were making me willing and bold to evangelize and win souls for the kingdom. This all happened since 2011 when I left the church I used to fellowship at because of the broken relationship I had with my spiritual father. I left him because he was too abusive and controlling, but I went with my wife to him before I left the church to tell him why we were leaving the church in hope that he was going to see his wrongs and maybe change his attitude but things became worse and he even called me Judas the betrayer. I lived for a long time with that bitterness until the Lord spoke to me about forgiving him which I did but Dave it's been almost 6 years now, I need revelation, visions, encounters to be restored in my life, please pray for me, or atleast guide me on how to go about this. Dry life in the faith isn't enjoyable especially when you have had the taste of heaven. Thank you, will wait to hear from you Dave.
I think it has to be both ways. You may have forgiven him but he may not have forgiven you. In that case, you'll actually need to go to him and resolve things.
Remember Jesus said if you want to offer a sacrifice at the altar, and you remember your brother has something against you, leave your gift at the altar and reconcile with your brother, then come back and offer your sacrifice otherwise it will never be accepted.

Hey Niteesh , I know how you feel , look man , I may not be Pastor David , but I may be able to help you , so the ONLY unforgivable sin is blaspheming the Holy Spirit and by reading your story it seems like you have not done that , so , it may be hard , but don't worry , God loves YOU , give him your heart and try to live the best you can now , just keep on marching and keep on seeking the Lord , brother , ask Jesus/Yeshua to help you , and rebuke the lies in your head , remember the Holy Spirit doesn't accuse when you sin , the Holy Spirit convinces you that sinned and that you need to repent , if you're feeling accused then rebuke the lies that are being spoken onto you , I hope this has helped , it may be hard right now but God will make things right , just keep marching. Get up early in the morning to pray in solitude. Key: pray often. Pray long before a big or difficult decision. Example prayer: Lord I'm asking you for the gift of healing. I want you to use my life to break the power of sickness over those suffering under its destruction. I want you to use me as a vessel, a conduit of heaven, to demonstrate the power of God. Lord use my life to touch others and heal others. I want to see sickness broken and the works of the devil destroyed. Lord I want you to anoint me as much as possible. The reason God is present, his power to heal, is because of prayer.
I would love to pray all day, but I find it so hard to do. I love God and I want to be a light in this world. I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit and I want to be used by God! I feel like often we make God our hobby, but I want God to be my life and the rest to just be on the side. I just find it so difficult, my mind wanders (about dinner, what I'm going to do later etc) and when I pray for a while every day the next days I just feel like I have nothing to say. I suppose I could just repeat prayers, but it feels fake to me... I don't want rituals, I want to talk to God! I want to grow in my relationship with Him. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?
Ma’am, You are not alone in this. The short answer is that like any other relationship, it starts with a intentional decision to communicate with GOD. This starts in our minds, and requires a daily discipline to do so. We make the decision, but humbly also know, GOD has personally called you by name first into this relationship. Next, we need to understand that Prayer is not just being in secret and reciting words, but a lifestyle. Paul says to Pray without ceasing! That would be impossible, and still working, going to school and other daily tasks... so we need to constantly be talking with our ABBA while we do our daily errands/tasks, and ensure everything we do is done as a form of or extension of our lifestyle in CHRIST! I need to produce fruit with the gifts GOD has anointed me with, doing everything to the Glory of GOD! By living this, you are building a relationship with ABBA, learning the voice of the HOLY SPIRIT, producing fruit, and also Praying without ceasing!
I'd say all you need is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When you're baptized, and you pray in the spirit, he prays through you. Sometimes I'd close my eyes and pray and I'd think I spent just 10 or 15mins but to my amazement, 1hr had passed. He helps us to pray.

Cliff Hanger sorry this is incorrect, we are to make righteous judgement testing everything and everyone back to the scripture. This is what the bareans did, we are told to reprove and rebuke. The reason there are so many false teachers is because people don't know their Bible's which is God's word, they sit there each week being misled whilst having there ears tickled. I pray for these people.

Hi David, I'd like to ask why healing sometimes does not happen as a result of prayer? Is it God's will for all to be healed of sickness or does God sometimes use that period of sickness to humble us/help us understand what others are going through? Or is it just a lack of faith? Also, another question, my brother says he doesn't believe in the legitimacy of the bible because he says he doesn't understand how Cain had a wife if Adam and Eve only had 2 sons and if they had daughters.. wouldn't that mean incest and isn't that wrong in God's eyes? Hey there, brother David. I have a question; Do you have to pray for tens or hundreds of people before you start seeing any healing as I hear in many testimony's? Or can someone just grow in his or hers prayerlife and reading of the word in the secret place and start seeing this manifest quicker?

Encounter TV My age is 26 years and most of my life was rebellious to Christ. I mean I used to do whatever I could have done to displease God sometimes knowingly and sometimes unknowingly.. I continued to carry on my life as a professional sinner, ... Lies, jealousy, ego, anger, lust, distrust, fear, guilt, impatience, discordance, laziness all these were parts of my daily lifestyle.. I came into a relationship with a girl named Akanksha Paul.. I know that was not God's plan for me.. It came all out if physical attraction .. and I won't like to get into details here but as a Teacher you may understand what were the outcomes of desires of flesh.. After spending some 2 years with her we broke up.. After then, I was desperate to get her back as well as anger was there inside me.. I was also guilty of my past deeds,..I was guilty of fights and the way I abused her many a times.. I was getting into depression with some hopelessness with life and suddenly I don't know how it happened, (because I don't remember exactly how it happened) I purchased Bible and started going to nearby Catholic Church .. I was fine with my life then .. I went this way for one month or so.. when I began felling well I stopped reading Bible.. my Church life also stopped afterwards.. I forgot how God saved me from that tragedy.. It came to be in the month of October / November 2015 if I am not missing facts! .. that all of the sudden some inner grudges against Akankhsha and my own life started appearing again... I came into rage and within moments I started kicking Holy Bible and The Photo of Jesus I had in my room rampantly.. when I was doing that act, I was aware that I am committing grievous sin that I haven't committed ever before.. one of my friend (at that time) watched me doing that and took Bible and Holy Things from my room and rebuked me .. within few moments I was quite but thinking why I did that.. !! I was succumbed to the situations but why I did that..!! In next few days I got back to my Christian Life, but since time being still thoughts of those deeds disturb my mind.. I feel as If have committed some unpardonable mistakes.. whenever I see the same Bible which I kicked once a temptation arise to do that act once more.. but now I know that those thoughts are not my own, because to me Bible is the blessing from God not a Curse like Satanic Lifestyle I used to leave few years ago..
Sir, why I am telling this to you, is because those memories are hindering me in my spiritual journey.. I have decided to follow Jesus and (no turning back) but still those thoughts prevail.. I feel that God hasn't forgiven me... I feel now that I am cursed to live with those thoughts till my eternal death..

I love this message. I finished reading a book about Deborah that God had given me a vision to read along with other books. I wanted to study Kuhlman, Wiggleworth and Seymour but God revealed to me I need to study more about Jesus than them and be more like Jesus. God had to correct me in my intentions that I can't be like them but learn from them. I saw a book that interest me but I am tired of buying books. He told me to STOP. Then your service came to my feed. Right away, you touched something. However, God told me to meet him at the mountain. Now I understand the full content from another Pastor. I have to have balance but I do like reading books and listening to other ministries for confirmations.

David Swank, I'm sorry, but healing is NOT something you "learn" to do. Its only the Holy Spirit that can heal. Nobody has any "healing power". God alone heals.

I felt I should share my story with you. An elder family member fell and was hospitalized they did everything they could. He was then sent home so he could be cared for by family. The following day his condition got worse. I feared he wouldn't make it through the night. After watching your video I prayed to Jesus for hours to heal him. When I woke in the morning I was amazed. I expected him to feel better but I never imagined he would be doing this good. Thank you brother David, I will continue to strengthen my faith and prayer life. Thank you Dave for the teaching, just for your info, I am not Apostle Maldonado I'm just inspired by him. Thanks for the teaching, I received the prophecy that I have the healing gift but every time I pray for the sick they don't get healed and I was frustrated by that. You know here in SA people are used to preachers preaching gospel but they don't see the power of God, and as an evangelist I don't want to start evangelizing without the power of the Holy Spirit being made manifest because people are tired of hearing what God can do and He never do it. Please pray for me I need the impartation from you Dave, because I have been fasting and praying about this but it feels like something in my heart is missing and I don't that warmth of the Holy Spirit I used to get when I was a newly born again child of God. Revelation is like cut off from my life, I need to encounter God, revelation to be restored and visions which I used too have that were making me willing and bold to evangelize and win souls for the kingdom.
This all happened since 2011 when I left the church I used to fellowship at because of the broken relationship I had with my spiritual father. I left him because he was too abusive and controlling, but I went with my wife to him before I left the church to tell him why we were leaving the church in hope that he was going to see his wrongs and maybe change his attitude but things became worse and he even called me Judas the betrayer. I lived for a long time with that bitterness until the Lord spoke to me about forgiving him which I did but Dave it's been almost 6 years now, I need revelation, visions, encounters to be restored in my life, please pray for me, or atleast guide me on how to go about this. Dry life in the faith isn't enjoyable especially when you have had the taste of heaven. Thank you, will wait to hear from you Dave.
I think it has to be both ways. You may have forgiven him but he may not have forgiven you. In that case, you'll actually need to go to him and resolve things.
Remember Jesus said if you want to offer a sacrifice at the altar, and you remember your brother has something against you, leave your gift at the altar and reconcile with your brother, then come back and offer your sacrifice otherwise it will never be accepted.

Hey Niteesh , I know how you feel , look man , I may not be Pastor David , but I may be able to help you , so the ONLY unforgivable sin is blaspheming the Holy Spirit and by reading your story it seems like you have not done that , so , it may be hard , but don't worry , God loves YOU , give him your heart and try to live the best you can now , just keep on marching and keep on seeking the Lord , brother , ask Jesus/Yeshua to help you , and rebuke the lies in your head , remember the Holy Spirit doesn't accuse when you sin , the Holy Spirit convinces you that sinned and that you need to repent , if you're feeling accused then rebuke the lies that are being spoken onto you , I hope this has helped , it may be hard right now but God will make things right , just keep marching.
Oh and if you sin again , just ask for God to forgive you and try your best to repent , repent means turning the other way , so turn away from sin , and if ask God he will help you , he is our Father after all , and not some far away and non-personal God , anyway I hope this message cheers you up brother , I ask that God may help you and that you feel the fatherly love of God , I hope this helps , hugs from Brazil

Don't be like the hypocrites, pray in solitude with God. Maybe you can still pray in public, in your mind, but don't show any signs that you are praying.
Pray like Jesus prayed. To have the same power Christ had, live like Christ did. Get up early in the morning to pray in solitude. Key: pray often. Pray long before a big or difficult decision.
Example prayer:
Lord I'm asking you for the gift of healing. I want you to use my life to break the power of sickness over those suffering under its destruction. I want you to use me as a vessel, a conduit of heaven, to demonstrate the power of God. Lord use my life to touch others and heal others. I want to see sickness broken and the works of the devil destroyed. Lord I want you to anoint me as much as possible.
The reason God is present, his power to heal, is because of prayer.
I would love to pray all day, but I find it so hard to do. I love God and I want to be a light in this world. I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit and I want to be used by God! I feel like often we make God our hobby, but I want God to be my life and the rest to just be on the side. I just find it so difficult, my mind wanders (about dinner, what I'm going to do later etc) and when I pray for a while every day the next days I just feel like I have nothing to say. I suppose I could just repeat prayers, but it feels fake to me... I don't want rituals, I want to talk to God! I want to grow in my relationship with Him. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

You are not alone in this. The short answer is that like any other relationship, it starts with a intentional decision to communicate with GOD. This starts in our minds, and requires a daily discipline to do so. We make the decision, but humbly also know, GOD has personally called you by name first into this relationship.
Next, we need to understand that Prayer is not just being in secret and reciting words, but a lifestyle. Paul says to Pray without ceasing! That would be impossible, and still working, going to school and other daily tasks... so we need to constantly be talking with our ABBA while we do our daily errands/tasks, and ensure everything we do is done as a form of or extension of our lifestyle in CHRIST! I need to produce fruit with the gifts GOD has anointed me with, doing everything to the Glory of GOD! By living this, you are building a relationship with ABBA, learning the voice of the HOLY SPIRIT, producing fruit, and also Praying without ceasing!
I'd say all you need is the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When you're baptized, and you pray in the spirit, he prays through you.
Sometimes I'd close my eyes and pray and I'd think I spent just 10 or 15mins but to my amazement, 1hr had passed.
He helps us to pray.

Cliff Hanger sorry this is incorrect, we are to make righteous judgement testing everything and everyone back to the scripture. This is what the bareans did, we are told to reprove and rebuke. The reason there are so many false teachers is because people don't know their Bible's which is God's word, they sit there each week being misled whilst having there ears tickled. I pray for these people.

I'd like to ask why healing sometimes does not happen as a result of prayer? Is it God's will for all to be healed of sickness or does God sometimes use that period of sickness to humble us/help us understand what others are going through? Or is it just a lack of faith?
Also, another question, my brother says he doesn't believe in the legitimacy of the bible because he says he doesn't understand how Cain had a wife if Adam and Eve only had 2 sons and if they had daughters.. wouldn't that mean incest and isn't that wrong in God's eyes?

Priscilla Appiah I would say who ever is aligning them selves after Jesus or people that are taking steps of faith toward Jesus and who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I believe who is a true follow of Christ should make a decision to take communion and do it.

I turned 22 lately, although I am not baptized but I received the lord as my personal savior when I was about 14, 15 but then I lived in sin till recently I decided to give my life fully to Christ again..can I take communion when I go to church although I haven’t been baptized?
