FYI #1: Mammals share bio-similar DNA and varying degrees of identical DNA.
      FYI #2: Humans are mammals.
FYI #3: Virus adaptability from one mammalian sub-species to another is entirely dependent upon the existence of DNA that accommodates how the virus has learned to attack its original host.
FYI #4: You can query any legit search engine regarding 'how much DNA do humans share with cows', 'how much DNA do cows share with birds' and beyond to dogs, etc.
FYI #5: Everything of life is of DNA. Though, of a different evolutionary truth, even bananas share some DNA with humans-- yes, a search engine can gift greater understandings of genetics-- when you know the questions to ask.
      FYI #6: American school failure.

My friend and his wife just got over it. Diagnosed at Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. April 2024. They were very, very, sick, wife had it first then he got it. Two weeks in bed. Very serious. Mayo definitely said they had bird flu. They have no animals or birds. She has a hair salon and he has a Mercedes Auto repair business.

      FYI #2: Humans are mammals.
FYI #3: Virus adaptability from one mammalian sub-species to another is entirely dependent upon the existence of DNA that accommodates how the virus has learned to attack its original host. Viruses survive through hunting shared genetic truths-- and exploiting shared weaknesses.
FYI #4: You can query any legit search engine regarding 'how much DNA do humans share with cows', 'how much DNA do cows share with birds' and beyond to dogs, etc. Though, birds are not of the mammalian family, they do share a larger genetic pool with mammals as vertebrates.
FYI #5: Everything of life is of DNA. Though, of a different evolutionary truth, even bananas share some DNA with humans-- yes, a search engine can gift greater understandings of genetics-- when you know the questions to ask & of the Will to overcome a school system failure.
Addendum: Deductive reasoning, alone, ought gift some clue of shared DNA. For example, eyes of our human eye colors in dogs; the factors that gifts melanin variations in eye color affects hair and skin, as well.
You Tube channel, Evo-Ed, has a succinct video called "History, Genetics and Human Skin Color" that explains the latitudinal mutations of melanin production.

"Temple bones in the skulls of dinosaurs and humans alike were formed by feeding habits, study suggests"
by Antje Karbe , Universitaet Tübingen
Forces during feeding and how they act on the skull of a human and an early reptile (Stenaulorhynchus stock-leyi), which lived in Africa 280 million years ago. Image credit: University of Tübingen
Whether human or reptile, in the skull of most terrestrial vertebrates there is a gaping hole in the temple; in the case of most reptiles, there are two. Scientists have been looking for explanations for this for 150 years...
The current study applies these findings for the first time to the evolutionary history of vertebrates...
