I'm loving mine so far. The bike is so nimble, turns on a dime, runs super clean, has plenty of grunt and puts a smile on my face. Not a replacement for my 300 but it's a perfect supplement.
I'm curios if they power band range is small like my TC 150? I had a 2020 TC 125 and it had a larger power band but didn't hit as hard on track, soI bought a 21 TC 150 and It works better for me(the 150)but isn't a novice or vet rider. Definitely a bike you gotta keep on the pipe to get what you want out of it in a moto. The TE 150i seems like a great bike for trail riding and I'm guessing they've widened that power band?

I can not describe how much more exciting my time at the track was on that thing, I fell in love with motocross again because of it. When it came time to explore trail and enduro riding I ended up with the TE150i even tho the two bigger models were right beside it. I was stunned at how broad and smooth and linear the power is on this thing. I can lug it or wring its neck and let it scream. Its amazing what they managed to do with a small bore two stroke. And its light, nimble and playful. Amazing bike.
Why do these guys always test Enduro biked by riding them wide open on the pipe the entire time. Its not what they bike is designed for. How about showing how it lugs down low in tight single track. Horrible way to review this bike.

It is a new generation of people who can not think very well because their school sabotaged their minds, (they can't "reason" and figure out reality). I thought MX would be the last to be affected by mental dysfunction,---but it is all happening at the same time. I am not insulting the new generations, it is not their fault. They were sabotaged. But it would be great if they all redefined "class action law suits", and sued their schools who reduced their minds to a 2 year old learning to talk, (who actually does figure out reality more effectively, than the HS/college grad can today.). It is like all of thinking mankind has been sabotaged. The movie "Idiocracy"? 500 years from now? I know people like that now, and some of them are even getting famous. Doug in Michigan.

@@user-hm4jm1cy7m I rode it till 20 hours , started bogging and shuttering and consuming transmission oil at the 7 hour mark, could never get the suspension right so I sold it and bought a beta and couldn’t be happier

A 200 can keep up with anything made..depends on the rider. When I was racing hare scrambles and enduros I switched from a KTM 250 exc to a 200 wxc and was instantly faster..felt like being on a bicycle it was so lite.
Just purchases a 2023 te150 looking forward to riding it next weekend this bike looks amazing I'm coming from a 2005 ktm 125sx but haven't been on a bike in 4 years also I'll only be doing casual trail riding! hopefully it's the right choice I'm also 5'11 195lbs so will see how the softer suspension is for casual riding thanks for the video I seen what this 150 can do haha

I can lug it right off of idle or wring its neck out and ride like a maniac. The power is so smooth and linear. Amazing fun bike. I never feel like i need more power. I just get better with technique and the clutch and enjoy every second of improving my skills.
For the price, the 250 is the better mount,,and btw,,at these prices most are going to want a single tracker, some track use,,Hill climber, and woods bike extraordinaire,,250.
Correction. At these prices, most will not be able to buy a bike. The results of 90% lost market share and 30 riders on a 40 rider GP gate are in. This is what happens when an industry is told what to do by governmental forces. The 1986 production raised the price of a bike times 3 in 5 years, and the 4-stroke, (forced on the industry), has almost tripled it again. Suzuki will stop making a bike soon. There will be more following.

Blame the EPA organizations, (and Europe is a level worse than ours). They force the emissions regulations on them for one reason; to drive them out of business. I had no idea my 2019 YZ250 2-stroke was way too tall when I bought it, (after reading everything I could find about it). The bike mags in the 80's would have told me the bike is too damn tall,---but a sales pitch won't.
@@premiumdetail5349 Is that new too, because their other FI designs are injected into the side of the cylinder in the transfer ports. That would keep the gas out of the bottom end, (pretty much), so the gas would not dilute the injected oil for the crank bearings, and burn the oil as it mixes with the fuel. But looking at the engine at min 2:02, it looks like you might be right. I guess they will make it transfer port injected for the next level of epa regulations. jeeech. Personally, I know a well tuned top quality carb is hard to beat.
I port little 2-stroke engines for a living, (RC cars and go-ped scooters, and sell them all over the world), and it looks like I won't be selling any engines in CA. after 2024. They are putting a ban on all 2-stroke engines, even for the landscaping industry.
Unfortunately, all I see and hear is a two stroke dirt bike made for the woods being ridden like a motocross bike. Not a very helpful video to see what this bike can do in more challenging, technical terrain.
@@premiumdetail5349 Not anymore, (double the HP for a 2-stroke of the same size of a 4-stroke). That is the only thing good about the 4-stroke, it puts the power to the ground better. I am sure they have raced 70hp 4-strokes 450's today, and the CR500 was never that much for MX. It may be still true for just peak HP numbers though, because 2-stroke MX bikes do not make the most power that they could be making, (would be just to wild to ride for MX). I know Honda made a v-twin 2-stroke 250cc engine for road racing that made 90hp. A buddy of mine was building it for quad sand drag racing in a 250cc class. But today on MX,---they could be racing the two engines together with the same displacement, and the 4-stroke may still come out on top in the dirt. The rest of the 4-stroke sucks. From price, to complexity, to maintenance costs, to the height of them, (some of their low weights amaze me, but are usually porkers) and them sounding like a fat lady farting. The 4-stroke was forced on the industry, and it was a mistake. In fact,---it was evil.

A Kawasaki KD 125, and 2 YZ's. Thank goodness I made $4.00 after HS in my first machine shop and was able to pay $2,300 for a YZ250 in 1986. The year of the production rule. Prices went up a lot, leveled off at about 5 g's, then the 4-stroke was forced on the industry, as we face 12 grand dirt bikes. To spendy for that is right. And the decline of bike sales over those years shows why. Nobody in the free market wants to make stuff that people can't afford, and lose 90% of the market share they once had. The prices are "forced", because what we make and sell is dictated by people outside of the industry. Sorry, I thought you asked for a good economics history lesson. :)

Luckily the 2-3 year old 150's are depreciating a lot faster than the 300s and I'm riding a wr250r now so everything is an upgrade 😁

This bike is fuel injected , and oil injected.
They have a throttle body injection now
The carbureted SX/TC models have a much more aggressive powerband. Better on the track (motocross or GP), but not as good for off-road.

Then is a 2 stroke , double the power basically. Top speeds won’t be much different. This is a way better bike then Honda.
