I’m going to say it again……… You don’t have to lean on the draft. You have the players. All the restructuring and worrying about draft picks is not the answer. The team can be a playoff team and contender by simply getting free agents and available veterans. Example Marquez Valdes was added and he immediately gave us a win. Veterans can perpetually keep you winning and get you to the playoffs and the fans will love it. The fans don’t want to sit around and wait for something that might happen. Getting and depending on rookies is most of the time maybes. Get immediate results with veterans
Ben Johnson is not even going to take calls from the Saints. He won't even bother to interview. It's not happening. If he goes anywhere, he is going to a team with a better situation and with better Line, WR, and RB talent.
Saints OL is actually looking and playing good. If they continue to play like this until the season is over that’s a really good sign for next season, now just focus on depth and younger players..WHY DO PEOPLE SAY SAINTS ARE A AGING TEAM? they have 3 old guys on defense and 3 old guys on offense. You guys make it seem like the whole team is old lmao.
@@Warrior93x I didn't say they were old. I've been posting in comments for months that the idea they're an old team is an overused excuse. But they're not a deep team. The O Line could turn out to be decent. McCoy is top shelf. Patrick has been solid but is gone after this season. Fuaga and Penning both need to continue to develop. I think we've seen the best of what Ruiz is and it is underwhelming. After those starters there is not much to talk about.
@@geoffhoutman1557 This is something we can agree on. The Saints week 1 starters...while not top shelf weren't BAD. But once a starter went down (McCoy, Ruiz, Patrick for example) the depth got exposed. And the depth can't be fixed with the same salary cap management going forward.
So we suck at drafting!? We have two choices; stop drafting and buy veterans, or get people in who can draft well. With our cap nightmare option 2 may be best?
Yes wait till off season to decide on a Head Coach.
Im nervous with Mikey making the decision on a head coach!
yes, there's every reason to be nervous with Loomis making the new head coach decision . . . . . be afraid . . . . be very afraid . . . . . . .
