Steve's back at Scent Bar Hollywood to give us the Breakdown on on of our new favorites from Rogue Perfumery': the classic Fougere l'Aube. The whole line (from Los Angeles) takes its inspiration from classic perfumery from autodidactic perfumer Manuel Cross. This classic mens' fougere is in the vein of Creed's Green Irish Tweed or Houbigant's classic Fougere Royale. Elegant and masculine while warm and soft...this is a fougere for everyman. Put on your best suit and tie.

Nice soapy vibe with an extensive durability. Feels fresh I think is the camphor note.

It reminded me of Green Irish Tweed right away. A bit sharper IMO. I think Chypre Siam and Derviche are the best, but this is pretty nice.

I watched Steve's review early last year, then ordered a sample of this directly from Rogue that I just loved, so I was glad to be able to walk into LuckyScent and buy it from Steve himself! He's a very nice and knowledgable guy. Fougere L'Aube is one of my very favorites.

The sample from Luckyscent smells so good. Put in my order, can't wait to get the bottle. The geranium component is so invigorating.
