It might be cool if you were to make a video covering the benefits of long vs short strings! I know that short strings help with control and speed, and long strings help with tech and slack stuff, but it would be cool to have tips on how to get a happy medium! Also, I know there are certain competitive players that can pull off either the long or short string for a specific reason so maybe go into explaining why that is! Does body type come into play? I tend to go back and forth when it comes to my string length depending on how slacky or how speedy I want to play. Is that a bad thing??? Should I just decide on a length and then not change it again? Why or why not?
@@katiethompson4997 Good video suggestion. I would like to add the impact of repetitive stress injuries (RSI). I often want to play with longer string, but I notice it messes up my shoulders more because I have to constantly hold my upper body up higher. I'd like to know if @thebrandonvu has experienced that, or if his youthful body has spared him that joy, lol.
I remember the irony jp from some of your earlier videos! Brings back memories! I mainly use the Wangle when I want to have some intense practice sessions, but if I were to have a number two it would definitely be the outlier!
For online competitions, I generally try to use a more techy yoyo like the nostalgia, and for in person contests, I try to use more floaty and wider yo-yos like the C3 Vanitas.
Brandon can you please make a competition yo yo with Evan nagao because I really like the way you both play yoyo and want to get an edge or outlier but can’t decide
Yo Brandon you are saying things like figure out how to change to yo-yo to fit you better but I don’t know how to make a custom yo-yo so could you explain that to me
Whenever it comes to competition I see best results with my magicyoyo stealth... I'd love it to be the YYR Valkyrie but that's not how this works 🤷🏻♂️🤣
5:48 When we all realize that the Outlier 2 was really only here to distract us from Brandon's secret competition weapon, the Tofu. Square yoyo technology has progressed to the point where pain is now a category of yoyo contest point scoring. Welcome to the revolution (see what I did there?).
Want more hardcore Yoyo content? Comment down below what content you'd like me to cover :)

@@hesperaux Never thought of that before! Good thought!
Can I get the yoyo from your website in India currency

C3 vanitas is so good
It’s everything you can ask for a competition yoyo, especially on how wide it is when it’s 63 grams
@@dylansabedra8706 yessir. I used it at Chesapeake classic and got 6th in prelims.
but you air my favorite
Outlier 2 is great(s/o to jono) and mk1 converge is also up there as being a top comp yoyo I would use
Great edits! For now, I swear by Ultimatum, but I've already got some protos that are close in performance.
Shutter yo-yo and edge ultimatum
My current yo-yo for competitions is the R-Type
So you're essentially telling the VuCrew to get an outlier 😉
Haha ;)

I think you know who my idol is 🤔🏴
You've got enough Outliers to prove it too :)
