Hey very good video. I flip pcs as well and the fishtanks are fantastic, although i have to replace the fans in all of them because they are insanely loud lol. Also I've used a few of the magnium gear cases and i was also very impressed with their build quality! Looking forward to the video about the tax side of PC flipping here in the states- there's like no videos about it and its really important to consider once you consistently sell computers.
Yeah I'm kind of 50-50 on keeping vs. replacing those stock molex (YUCK) fans. Though they're SATA powered now in the updated versions. I usually keep them for cheaper flips and change them out for the Thermalright fans for nicer builds. And yes, the tax side doesn't get enough limelight! Thanks!
Ha it’s both easy and not! I think if you take it slow (slower than I did lol) and get into it mainly as a hobby, it’s not too hard. But there ARE lots of things to consider like what happens when the used parts you buy don’t work, if someone wants to return their PC etc. so it’s a lot of risk. But can be worth it if done right. So make sure you do your research before starting!
I mostly stick to Ryzen for sure. Mostly because of pricing, but also because I know it’s capabilities a lot more. I don’t actively avoid though Intel though; I actually have several on hand right now that I will feature in future episodes!

I see you're a follower of the ZTT mantra: "Aesthetics over everything". It does work and I've had some pretty budget builds sell because of how they look over some of my competitors. Though I get bored building in the same case all the time. Two years ago I had bought something like 20 Deepcool Matrexx 50s from an overstock seller (about $15 a piece) and while they sold well, it was really boring using the same case so often (also my wife was kinda mad and said I needed to get them all sold before it snows as she parks her car in the garage during that time) I'm curious to see how you handle commissions. It's not something I do (despite being asked several times) and often I'll just tell people "What's your budget, what games/tasks do you plan on doing, and What's the style you want and if I'll keep those in mind when I make my next build and give you first crack at it."
It DOES get boring; I honestly kind of felt this starting 2024 with the DIYPC cases lol. So I’ve tried out many other ones over the last few months, which I’m excited to share about! Commissions are a beast. It seems like a no brainer, but MAN can they get convoluted. It’s an interesting topic so I’m excited to talk about it! Thanks so much for watching.

I have been flipping computers for close to a year and for some reason, when I list fishtank case computers they take so long to sell but regular gaming pc cases sell really quickly, my market is strange.
Can you do the legal part next? I want to start but I’m confused about the legal part? The antec nx200, does the fans have splitters built in? I want to use a b450 but it only has one header. Thanks! Best of luck on the next one
Ha there’s actually a lot more interest on that side of things than I realized! I’ll have to get working on it soon. As for the Antex NX200M, it only comes with 1 fan that only has one cable (a 3 pin fan connector). If you only have 1 fan header on your motherboard, I suggest picking up the 3-pack Thermalright fans for like $13. They are Daisy chainable so you can plug all 3 into one header!
I buy new parts from Amazon and Newegg; used parts from Ebay and Facebook Marketplace (sometime AliExpress); sell on Facebook Marketplace so that it's always local and I don't have to figure out shipping.
Hey just wanted to tip you about PC flipping, instead of installing an AMD GPU, I know it’s a better value for FPS, but people mostly do prefer Nvidia, like you might get more sells because you have an Nvidia GPU. anyways keep up the W content 😄
Yeah that's been an interesting test.. I know lots of flippers share the same sentiment, but I honestly haven't had a huge issue selling AMD cards. On average they may take a bit longer, but that's worth it for me considering they're cheaper on my end while giving even better performance. Thanks for watching!
@@Budgetiers 🙏👍 Happy you read my comment and could share me your opinion on the tip 🫶 Keep up the good work but do keep in mind to be careful flipping AMD GPU computers 💯 Anyways have a good day dude 😁
You know how most PC Flippers tell you to use one of those 3rd party websites... yeah well I go directly to the source and activate via windows massgrave lol. Look it up! Completely free.
Aesthetics are very important. Also perception.. make sure you list your PCs in a professional manner. Take good photos, write a good, legit looking description. Be a nice person over text and when you meet up. Build good looking PCs that actually work, and the success will come! It IS heavily location dependent too though.
These are some great budget builds! I'm curious if you are including accessories? Do you sell just the PC and power cable or do you include keyboard and mouse, hdmi cable, wifi adapter (if not built in to the MB), etc. Thanks for the awesome video!
I always list them as “Used - Like New,” and make sure to include the wording of “Made from a mix of new and used parts” in each description. Thanks for watching!
The 4500 is not a great CPU; I’d take the 3600 over it! Or even 5600 if budget allows. 1660 super is still capable today and 32gb ram is great. For storage, I usually recommend 1tb at least but 512gb will do. SO all of that to say, $600 is too high especially due to the 4500.
Selling Pcs also has a lot of others factors to it like: Where you live, Prices, and how good the market it. For example in Norway where i live costs 400 bucks maybe even 500. So going into Flipping Pcs in other countries then the US might be really hard
great video! are you installing windows on them or selling them w/o OS'? if windows is installed, is the license included in your cost breakdown? do you offer a warranty?
Thanks! Google windows masgrave for activation; I do make sure to do a full activated install in every build. As for warranty, I don’t offer one but I do give people a “grace period” of sorts for 2 weeks just to make sure everything works. I’m somewhat lenient on that though, as I’ve had a couple people over the last year that have had fairly easy fixes after a couple months that I just took care of to be nice. Thanks for watching!
I got this reccomended and tohught ur js doing a chalange and u are a big youtuber or something but suprisingly ur not! U have so much potentail and u inspire me sm
There are tons of factors. Your location and time of year are two of the biggest. Lower end builds like these sell pretty great especially during the holiday season, which is just around the corner!
@@Budgetiers That’s what I was thinking. Also, why did you call the 12100f a Frankenstein pc? That’s a beast pc for the cost (and my exact same pc) I love this series, I’ve built a bunch of pcs. I found that they sold a bit better during the summer, and now that school is back up, they don’t seem to sell as fast. I recently got a 3060 12gb for 160$. I don’t like to go to low on cost, because then there is people who don’t have a lot of money and really try to lowball. I try to target around 450-650. Also, white builds sell a lot better
You’re doing it right my man!! Great price on that 3060 as well. I called it a Frankenstein because it felt really weird to pair yhe 12100f with the 5700xt lol
I don’t offer a warranty, but I do allow a 14 day safety period to allow the client to make sure everything is up and running. I do use discretion with certain situations where it’s an easy fix though
Simplest insight is this: Most people won't make anywhere close to a $ point that warrants anything more than a sole proprietorship. So you essentially just report your revenue and profit as "non-W2 income" on your personal tax return. Make sure to set aside around ~30% or more of your profit for taxes. Also look into sales tax in your county
Unless you're that dude selling "Gaming pc!" On facebook with 15$ old xeon CPUS with an old mining 480 in it for 500 bucks then I don't recommend selling anything. Everytime I sell a rig, I'm usually left with not much left. UNless you're building a NEW jrig and you want to offset the cost.
questionable how you even got and official windows installation on those PC's - guess you gotta do what you gotta do and not tell everyone the real story behind it
I looked this stuff up fairly intensively to see whether mass grave was any better than those 3rd party websites that everyone is sponsored by and it seemed to be. If anything, it’s not any more sketchy than those, and those are everywhere 🤷♀️
Man, I must be doing something wrong. I built similar if not beyter spec PCs and priced them about the same. It's been over a month and noone is buying them. This guys sells em in a week or so
It depends heavily on your market and time of year. I am currently selling way slower than I was at Christmas; don’t give up. Sometimes it doesn’t work for a while (so remember not to do this unless you have the money to sit on a PC for a while, just in case!)
I actually have building footage for my next episode with a commission! Just trying out different flavors with this whole flipping journey, so thanks for the input.

rx 550 pc for 800 is crazy, here in the netherlands u can buy a 4060, i5 12400, 32gb rgb fishtank pc for 850 brand new💀
For 850? Gezellig!
Do you install an os when building these?
Yes. Windows 10 or 11 from a USB stick (media file from their website). Then activate through Windows Massgrave; you can Google it
That ebay refresh every sec...i feel that 🤣
I mean if you don’t refresh every second, are you even trying 💀
@Budgetiers I've gotten some good parts from doing that, 😆 great video btw 👍
You list used parts as a new PC? Smart.
I always list them as “Used - Like New,” and make sure to include the wording of “Made from a mix of new and used parts” in each description. Thanks for watching!
Guys you think 600$ is to much for a ryzen 4500, 1660 super , 32gb ddr4, 512gb ssd?
The 4500 is not a great CPU; I’d take the 3600 over it! Or even 5600 if budget allows. 1660 super is still capable today and 32gb ram is great. For storage, I usually recommend 1tb at least but 512gb will do. SO all of that to say, $600 is too high especially due to the 4500.
i can tell an upcoming amazing ytoutuber when i see one!
WOWZA that’s a nice thing to say. Thank you!!
Selling Pcs also has a lot of others factors to it like: Where you live, Prices, and how good the market it. For example in Norway where i live costs 400 bucks maybe even 500. So going into Flipping Pcs in other countries then the US might be really hard
Yes, location is perhaps the single most important factor
great video!
are you installing windows on them or selling them w/o OS'? if windows is installed, is the license included in your cost breakdown?
do you offer a warranty?

Nothing Slacker about that lol. Best of luck!
Fish tank! Let’s goooo hahaha
You know it 😎
Yo wsp man. I do the same type of builds, use the same cases, and the same costs. Mine just dont seem to sell. Idk why
There are tons of factors. Your location and time of year are two of the biggest. Lower end builds like these sell pretty great especially during the holiday season, which is just around the corner!
@@Budgetiers That’s what I was thinking. Also, why did you call the 12100f a Frankenstein pc? That’s a beast pc for the cost (and my exact same pc)
I love this series, I’ve built a bunch of pcs.

Do you sell a kb/mouse with them?
Maybe like 1% of the time. I actually have a few laying around and intend on testing it out to see if it affects sales at all. Stay tuned!
I think I'm doing it wrong by buying all new parts. Ebay, you say?
That’s right! eBay and Facebook Marketplace for used. Sometimes Amazon warehouse but not that often. Has worked for me so far!

what about your warranty?
I don’t offer a warranty, but I do allow a 14 day safety period to allow the client to make sure everything is up and running. I do use discretion with certain situations where it’s an easy fix though

insight on taxes?
Simplest insight is this: Most people won't make anywhere close to a $ point that warrants anything more than a sole proprietorship. So you essentially just report your revenue and profit as "non-W2 income" on your personal tax return. Make sure to set aside around ~30% or more of your profit for taxes. Also look into sales tax in your county
Unless you're that dude selling "Gaming pc!" On facebook with 15$ old xeon CPUS with an old mining 480 in it for 500 bucks then I don't recommend
selling anything. Everytime I sell a rig, I'm usually left with not much left.
UNless you're building a NEW jrig and you want to offset the cost.
It’s definitely not lucrative enough for full time.. more of a hobby that can get you some money.
Taxes? Y’all claiming taxes on PC flipping?
Anything over $600 of profit now needs to be reported. Fun isn’t it?

questionable how you even got and official windows installation on those PC's - guess you gotta do what you gotta do and not tell everyone the real story behind it
I looked this stuff up fairly intensively to see whether mass grave was any better than those 3rd party websites that everyone is sponsored by and it seemed to be. If anything, it’s not any more sketchy than those, and those are everywhere 🤷♀️
👌🏻
👌
Is dude a case addict?💀
Ain’t nothing wrong with that 😎
Man, I must be doing something wrong.
Can you please add the PC building process to the video? if you do so, i will subscribe to you and make the videos more actractive
I actually have building footage for my next episode with a commission! Just trying out different flavors with this whole flipping journey, so thanks for the input.
