Wow. What an amazing interview! Loving this new format and stoked for the progression towards video interviews!!!
"Enjoying lasting change" what an amazing way to phrase the philosophy to live life to strive for more optimization.
Definitely going to insert the "grateful journal" into my daily "ritual" and attempt to be heartful and experience what I'm scribing about.
Grateful for you sharing this with us Brian. Thanks!

My favorite was the analogy-throw the napsack over the wall, setting the goals. Reminded me of tge sparyan up idea of conquering the obstacles. I am thinking? If racers throw the water back sacks over the obstacles....then they will have to figure out how get through the obstacle, quickly. I am going to start visualizing nap sacks over those things I keep putting off.....great way yo beat procrastination. Brilliantly presented interview.....brilliant gentleman.

Thank you Brian for this amazing talk ..really simple to understand . It is interesting listening first part about ritual which is very imp to optimise our life. And the reality is after all reality . Thanks again.

The part about perfectionism especially resonated with me, since it felt like he was describing me at that point. Also made me think how depression often is just a symptom of a dysfunctional mindset.

He's right on, I'm 99% sure that I have some form of ADHD. The only things I can focus on are things that I'm passionate about. This means finding and refining my passions is most important but I am still having a tough time picking an appropriate number of battles to fight at once.

harryman11 It's an ongoing process! I always love simplifying as much and as often as possible. This book helped with that: brianjohnson.me/philosophers-notes/the-one-thing/
