I have pretty much abandoned everything owned by Disney at this point, so I haven't actually seen most of What if. However, I'm not surprised it is happening in What if, since it's happening everywhere else as well. Thor was turned into a joke to elevate the female characters in his movies, Hulk was neutered to elevate She-Hulk, it appears Hawkeye is being replaced by his daughter who might be better than him (because of course she is), T'Challa has been replaced by a female character as Black Panther after Chadwick passed away, Peggy Carter is somehow better at this type of hero work than Steve Rogers, and I suspect they want to replace Ironman with Iron Heart following Tony Stark's death. They even made Taskmaster female. And that's only Marvel. Star Wars is arguably even worse as everyone around her (especially male characters) have been nerfed (in terms of abilities, intelligence or both) or killed off to elevate her without any character development. It's not even just the heroes. It's the villains, too. Have you noticed the trend lately that male villains are consistently purely evil and irredeemable with an overwhelming ego and have to be destroyed by the female lead, while female villains are the sympathetic kind that are actually good people who are just misunderstood and have to be redeemed by the female lead? This seems to be happening nearly everywhere, as male characters just can't seem to catch a break no matter which side of the story they're on. They must always be outshone or outright replaced by female characters. In trying to create spaces and representation for women, they are denying men those same things, and I'm sick of it.

This was the best time to bring out Adam Brashear aka the Blue Marvel to help battle against the other Watchers. Also we needed more Riri Vision armor and Mjolnir Storm.

Basically what if? Released episodes every day and when i watched the episodes i saw why it was released on a daily basis. They basically had the mech avenger, i just saw Pacific Rim animated version and in the end hulk just walks of like godzilla. This show fell off the moment they started reusing characters instead of making independent episodes. The only good one was the season 1 finale with Infinity Ultron cause it was a twist to the entire premise of the Watcher simply being a neutral entity.
