The Joy of the Child, Isaiah 9:6-7
Christmas represents God’s solution to the world’s problems through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. In humility, God chose to send a child, not a mighty warrior, to bring salvation, highlighting His wisdom and glory. Jesus’ divine titles-Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, and Prince of Peace-affirm His identity as God Himself, stepping into humanity to accomplish what no one else could. His reign, marked by justice and righteousness, is eternal and fulfills God’s promises. Though fully realized in the future, His kingdom begins now in the hearts of believers, offering peace, hope, and salvation to all who accept Him as Lord and Savior.
