Wow! I started playing around with picking out the personas and seeing what I can do with them, but haven't gotten far. What you're providing is gold! Thank you!!! I'd love a series on this!
Thank you for all your work, dear Mandy. All of your videos are so helpful and motivating for me. After each video, I take some action to apply the learned information. I have developed completely new approaches. Thank you very much.
I would LOVE another series from you! I love all of your videos and cannot get enough of your info! Thank you so much for creating these and I'm loving your Chat prompts!!
Love these tips Mandy! You give so much away for free. If you’re on the fence to join her membership, this is your sign. Just do it! It’s worth it. Such a positive and helpful group to be in while on this Etsy and POD journey.
I am new to your channel. You are so great! Sharing so many valuable tips in such a crisp and clear manner. You even created a ChatGPT Plugin for us, that's way above and beyond, Wow! I can't thank you enough.
I've watched a lot of videos on searching trends and applying them to designs but had still struggled to get passed mental blocks on how to put it all together. When learning, some people will get a teaching angle while others don't so much. The way you showed us how you incorperated trends and showcased your design ideas into different niches has helped me so much. I've just created a design off the back of this tutorial, it's a first of many incorperating your strategy. Thanks so much for persevering in so many ways to get the message across. Keep up the amazing videos Mandy!
Just signed up for your master class. I absolutely love your chill videos, they feel so much more genuine than a lot of the others I’ve seen. I’m excited to check everything out. I feel like I’ve been Working on stuff my with hands tied behind my back before this!
hi mandy. thank you so much for this great video. unbelievable what great ideas you have. this opens up a completely unknown "universe" for me. it would be super great if you make a video series. and if you make a video with your working process: then i will dedicate an entire(!!) chapter to you in my memoirs 😉
Would love a series!! I don't think I realized how strategic Etsy selling is! I'm really loving your videos! They help me wrap my brain around all of this.
Uh Mandy, this is a super idea indeed! OMG, You are soooo cool with your designs, they are all winners for me😍 Please make more videos like this, this process is amazing to watch! You literally made my day better ❤
I LOVE you first off.....You hve helped me a ton so far. I have been playing around with the Niche GPT prompt, but not sure where to type in for the actual designs?
Those are some good recommendations. And the way you presented designs are great. Do you use any special tool for it or where do you usually grab mockups from. Thanks
Mandy, could you make a video of the steps for posting a listing? because I get overwhelmed, I would like a more structure method and more efficient. (Mother of 2 little kids with very limited time) I love you videos, I learned so much from you, 3 listings and 2 sells (no bad for a newbie) 😊
Check out my time-blocking series! Video 4 & 5 specifically walk through my batch listing process ruclips.net/p/PLggvIul5KcwQA6ktCXa_guEoLyEvPRxNo&si=ShLoERTYhrwZbNNX 😊 Congrats on your progress so far! 🎉
I’m getting the paid version of chat gpt today. I will try your Etsy tool on there as soon as I get it. Thanks Mandy. I stopped watching many of the Etsy gurus, I just think there is some really bad information being put out, but your channel gives different information than just the same old, same old. I was wondering if you could tell me something about mock-ups…I am making a shirt design that I have to put on an all over print shirt, due to the nature of the design. I am not making an all over pattern though, I am just making one design, like you would on a regular T-shirt, on the front or back, the 4500x5400 size, front or back, however, I am really having trouble deciding what to do with a mock-up. Most mock ups are for the B&C 3001 or Gil Dan, (I know it’s one word, trying to beat the algorithm) and since the design is going on a black Tshirt, it will still have white on the inside, so what should I do for a mock-up? It’s also polyester. Most mock-ups look like a cotton Tshirt, because that is what they are. A flat layer shows a black inside, many of the model mock-ups have rolled sleeves, and the ones that don’t just look so cottony. 😂 You know how picky customers can be…so I am trying to get as close as possible. I have looked everywhere for something…CF, Etsy, and Place it. I am at my wits end. No one, has a video on what to do, for an all over print shirt mock-up. I don’t have time to Order and take my own photos, for this particular design, the holiday is coming up, so what can I do? Please help. 😫😭
Question Mandy- what are you using for tshirt mockups now that Etsy is coming down on purchased mockups for POD? Thank you so much for sharing so much valuable help!
I’m still using the same ones I’ve always used - good aesthetic mockups with real models wearing real products so that it’s an accurate representation of the actual product. Don’t use PlaceIt for apparel and don’t use AI mockups for apparel 😊 The Made to Order portion of Etsy’s seller handbook (which is what POD is) allows for mockups 🤓
Thanks Mandy x, do you mean to say that if i pick literally any personas that etsy have suggested i can make designs that sell? For example, the cat lover + the basketball fan? Also, if i decide to make a shop should i just stick to one persona, one product type and 1 niche? for example, sweatshirts for cat lovers who love basketball? Or can i also include cat lovers who love horror movies, or who are first time moms? The information is almost overwhelming me 😢
Great idea to do a series 👍 Just checking, could the personas you kindly listed in your cheat sheet be considered niches? Obviously Recipient, Giftable Occasions, and Styles aren't... Love your GPT too 👍
Hello, I ran into a glitch with the ChatGPT Niche Creator. I am unable to remove the default prompts in each field (lawyer, camping, hockey dad, dance couch) and enter my own prompts. Can you please help me out? Thank you
You’ll want to type in your niche in the box below those - those are just example prompts. So if your niche is pickleball you would type in pickleball in the field below the examples 😊
@@studiomdesignsco OMG right in front of me! Thanks so much for clarifying. You are a wonderful teacher. I love your videos because you explain the process very clearly and take the viewer step-by-step.
Thank you for sharing. I would make a simple update to your gpt on the back end. Give the gpt the ability to explain how it's used, or what command(s) kicks it off. Such as "If a user asks how this gpt works, give a brief explanation how to initiate or interact. This should be a general explanation with an example, and in a human conversational tone". As of now, it's like my gpts are. Written for me, because I built it, and I know what commands to use to get my results.
And is Etsy still going to be pushing buyers towards the already successful shops as usual, or will they spread it evenly over everyone? Im guessing, no.
Existing successful shops have a naturally higher rank in the algorithm based on longevity, cumulative listing quality scores, and other factors based on Etsy’s ranking system. That doesn’t mean new shops can’t be successful though. There are tons every year that I can see in eRank, and I have members in my group that have hit six figures within a year. There are lots of variables to this, but it’s definitely possible 😊
@@studiomdesignsco would love to know how that happens. I've been working on my shop for a year, in March...only 40 sales. I have added products, based on your recommendations and that of other YTbers, done the research, niched and sub-niched, Erank'd, EverBee'd and InsightFactory'd until I'm blue in the face...and NADA.
Wow, the niche creator is amazing. No more feeling overwhelmed about coming up with ideas. Thank you Mandy!
