The magnet for the Galaxy Watch is great! There have been many days where my Duo didn't charge my watch because I missed the spot.

Really!?!? I think I got a defective one cause the magnet is weak as heck and everytime I put my watch on their no matter which way I get the error code, the blinking red light

Samsung is really killing it with design right now. They found their niche and really are amazing. Compared to the older charger this looks incredible.

The duo does 12 watts on the left coil and 10 on the right, with both doing 10 if used simultaneously. Not 7.5 Watts

I was thinking that too, the magnets were reacting to each other, not from the charger itself.

With the AirPower you were supposed to be able to place your charger anywhere and it would charge..... It had many coils inside, including the ones to charge an Apple watch and it was supposed to be really thin and light! This comes nowhere close to that....

I'm curious what the impact is on charging time when you have multiple devices placed vs. just one. I would have to imagine each additional device takes a fraction of the total power, but it would be interesting to know how severe the impact is
Perhaps taking a look at the "X h XX m until full" indicator on the phones, and doing a before/after? Unsure how reliable that is.
Brick gives 25 w and each device get the 9 w each so probebly not
Can you please do a quick test to see if the original 46mm Galaxy Watch will charge with this pad? The description on Amazon states that it will only work with the active2 and galaxy watch 3

Would've expected this to support up to 15w wireless charging, which I believe is what the S20 FE supports.
I mean, that would have introduced a lot of heating related issues, but somehow Xiaomi figured it out so I think now Samsung can too.
Or they somehow did manage to cram a higher wattage to that wiress charging pad but wasn't able to get that price down for them to make profit. Who knows?
i just found this really good charge after buying the Galaxy watch. not wanting tooo much clutter on my bed side cabinet i found this on ebay for just £29 wuhoo!
Time to upgrade my old samsung single charger.

The only downfall is what if you don't have an open band on your watch I use a metal band I can't lay a flat like that
Same problem. I also use a metal band that doesn't open so this is useless for me.
I have the same type of band and the old duo charger with the stand up part for the phone... I just lift the end up and slide my watch on at night... Fits with the band fully extended

I got a s20 and one of those chargers too. I ordered so they ended up coming separately and I was surprised how heavy that charger was. Works great though. Don't have a watch but can charge my s9 and s20 at same time. I don't hear any noise come off of it.
How long does it take to charge? Considering this is a 9W charger.. and placing both the things together does it increase the total time to charge?
Overall, I do like this charger and it is something that I truly need, especially the magnet for the watch. But it is twice as slower than the duo was when charting my Note 20 Ultra and that wasn't all that fast to me. So, just be aware that charging your phone will be slow. Watch charges at normal speeds.
I missed out on the 15w wireless chargers, and currently still using a 7.5w convertible charger which has been fine for me, so this 9w trio will actually be a huge upgrade for me 😅
One question, does it come with a super fast charger or just a fast one? because when I go to the link you left I can only see that it says fast charger but not super fast

No. The duo does 12 watts, not 7.5 watts as stated here. The new trip is slower at 9 watts

@Lon Denard the new watch works just fine with the duo and the older watches work fine with the trio
@@ChillydontCap what is? The slower charge rate? It's not safety per se. They chose not to include fans in the charger hence restricted the charge rate. Plus 3 devices together at a higher rate would mean supplying a different adapter. They have a standalone charger that goes up to 15 Watts
If it makes sense for your household, go for it. For us, we have too many phones and watches and buds. This makes sense for us

Did you happen to test speed wise how much faster it charges than the duo? Because I feel the duo charges pretty fast for wireless charging.
The duo is, in fact, quicker than the trio at 12 watts. He said 7.5 watts which is incorrect

Btw it is slow when using muliple devices, but it is great to use bedside while sleeping
duo pad does 12 watts on the left, not 7.5. This is kinda a downgrade with charging. I would have like to see them make it so if just one phone was charging and let's say a watch too it would output 12 watts to the phone but if you put down another phone then it would go down to 9 to both phones to keep the pad from overheating. still nice tho

As my note 10+ star wars edition isn't wanting to use any charger except wireless charging im using my duo alot so having a trio for my watch phone and budswill be really cool and a time saver.
Please mention that this isn't compatible with the original Galaxy Watch. I bought this because I looked at this video and you didn't mention that. Now I have to return it

will it work with non "Samsung" chargers? what usb type-c cable and oem charger is it? is it usb 3.2 gen 2 type-c? can i usb the charge pad with a usb 3.2 gen 2 "Type -A" on my motherboard? does it have to be "type-c" can the charge pad work with a "type-A" source? thanks

I whis you could tilt the watch charger up like the charger for the gear s3 frontier. I don't like my camera facing me on my nightstand so I like being able to lay the phone flat.

Got excited about this and then found out that my watch (GeasrvS3 Frontier) isn't on the list of supported watches listed on the box. Is it really true it won't be able to charge my watch?
I can't test other watches. I had the frontier but traded it in for my watch 3

I've watched another video and it only charges Active watches and Galaxy watch 3. Nothing prior will charge as in Galaxy watch or Gear s3.

Just got the this for Christmas. I have the Samsung Galaxy Watch and it's not charging on it but working fine on my duo. It lights up like it's charging then the red led on the charger just flashes red. Guessing I have a bad lemon. Don't notice it magnetizing either

Does the trio charge the original Galaxy watch. I ask because I noticed the chargers that come with the original Galaxy watch and the Galaxy watch3 are not interchangeable. Only the charging base that come with either device will charge that device.
Look at the review on samsung. Some dude returned it because it didn't work with original galaxy watch
My 2019 samsung single wireless charge pad won't charge the watch active2 & buds+ when using charging brick from the box, BUT when I'm using the 25watt charger brick from s20+, it can charge!! WHAT IS HAPPENING?!! HELP!!
I have the duo. Considering this. My S10 only supports up to 12 Watts which the duo does when only the left coil is used. Interesting that the Duo was 25 watts over A to C and this is C to C

Duo charger has a max of 12W charge output
Only the left coil.
The right coil is 10 watts and both coils charge at 10 watts when used simultaneously.

The problem is, fast wireless charging has stopped working on my note 20 ultra after recent update, starts on fast and goes to standard after 5 seconds

Was disappointed the US Samsung website says "Supports charging for Galaxy watches, Active2, and Active". Was ready to order and noticed this. I have an SM-R810 so guess it won't work? I don't care how fast it is for the watch, it would be slower than my 15 watt samsung charger for phone....

I just got this and it will not charge my s3 frontier and also by reading all the reviews on Samsung's website it won't charge any Samsung Galaxy watch.

Why did mine just have two flashing yellow lights and wont charge.
