Rode it a few weeks ago on my trail bike a Haro Shift plus it was not the best for this Mountian, the next day I rented a trek session 9.8 down hill bike it was way more fun, had to tune the suspension to me, so I lost a few runs up and down but the more suspension travel the more fun here, an enduro bike is what I will be taking next time!! Those are some of the most fun and flow trails in the park loved this park will be returning soon
Thanks for the video. Best overview of the park that I've seen. Been looking for something like this to give me an idea of what the park is like. Definitely going this summer.
Just found your channel researching Angel Fire, hoping to take a trip out west to ride next year. Angel fire is top of the list but I see you have a bunch of other videos, maybe some other ideas of places to visit.
The view of the mountain at :09 was so intimidating I drove to it. I'd never rode down anything near that size before lol. I'm ready to go back. I think I'll have to try again next summer.
I was supposed to go there in July but due to school commitments I couldn't go. 140mm travel on your bike bodes well for my next bike purchase. It will be my first full suspension bike with 140mm travel up front and 130mm in the back.
Boulder dash is a great trail for beginners to work on speed and their jumping. Nice, flowey, trail. I hated angels plunge, I’ll be avoiding that trail forever.
Really? What did you hate about it? I loved Angel's Plunge! But we were just there last weekend, and they raced on it Saturday. We rode it Sunday, and it was in TERRIBLE shape!
@@huntstyle It just beat the shit out of me. So much rock. Switchbacks were so sharp. It just wasn't a flowing trail that the map made it out to look like. Myself and some other riders thought it would be a good warm up for the day, but that turned out not to be the case. The bike park is amazing though, I'm going back in a couple of weeks.
Hey man, my girlfriend commented on one of your videos about riding in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. We just moved here not that long ago and are both interested in going to Angel Fire and Bentonville (as much as possible really). We should get together and get a group going for heading up those ways. AirBnB is cheaper with more people! haha. Hit us up!
Heck yeah man, was just talking to Cobra Kyle today about going to Angel Fire next season! Also, not sure if you're aware, but Texas' first lift-access bike park is about to open on Jan 18th: www.spidermountain.com
@@huntstyle Yea we saw that. The only thing I'm interested about is the lift price. For 450ft in elevation, that better be one hell of a competitive lift price. Otherwise I'll just go north to Bentonville! haha. We're thinking about season lift tickets for Angel fire, because when we do go I'm pretty sure we'll stay for a couple days at least to ride. Worth it in the long run in my opinion. Our insta's are @lolhomm and @mangela.athis. You can DM us there or whatever if you ever wanna do a group run up to those parts!
@@HeisertonLet me know when you guys ride I'm just north in the Wichita Falls area. I'm looking at going to both Bentonville and Angle fire, . Looking for a group to ride with at both places. wouldn't mine coming down to ride some weekends as well
What is your favorite bike park?
Huntstyle Evolution Crested Butte was epic! Headed to Angel fire next week...we’ll see how it compares!
I'm @ Angel Fire today and riding these later! Thanks for the timely peek at the conditions.
Right on! Bet you're having a blast right now!
@@huntstyle So much fun! Balderdash was techy but this Demo rental I was on handled it well
Sweet! I know the high you're on right now. I can't wait to go back there!
Nice ride, looks like great fun, and love the 1up hitch
Thanks man! Yeah, it is a great bike rack!
@@huntstyle so true, I used other racks for years then finally got one and so glad I did.
Wow!!! That looks like a blast!
It was so much fun! Definitely going back again next year!
This is the best video I've seen come out of Angel Fire. Looks like fun
Thanks man! It is a freakin blast! I can't wait to go back!

It is a great park, for sure! I've only ridden it on my Jeffsy, but yeah, I bet a DH bike is great there! Enduro would do just fine, too!
Thanks for the video. Best overview of the park that I've seen. Been looking for something like this to give me an idea of what the park is like. Definitely going this summer.
You'll love it!

Angel Fire is definitely worth it! Cannot recommend it enough!
@@huntstyle great to hear such positive recommendations, just makes it harder to wait for next season.

Yes, I definitely want to go back, and this time maybe ride the park 2 days!
I'd like to get two days in next time too. I'll just not go as hard the first day I guess. It would have been nice to ride some trails twice.
I kinda want to just do Boulder Dash over and over again to work on those jumps!
Great video, makes me want to go to Angel Fire. Thanks for making it.
Thanks David! You should go, it's great!
Going there next weekend. What’s the goto runs???
All of them! LOL! Seriously, there are so many good trails there! Just get in as many runs as you can, you won't regret any of them.
Where is the burger from? Headed there Thursday!
Nice! I'm jealous! It was the restaurant right next to the lift! Don't remember the name, but yeah it's right there, can't miss it!
@@huntstyle awesome!! Thanks! Can't wait!!
I think your video convinced me I need an enduro bike for this park haha. Looked like it got a bit rough on some of the trails
Haha, yeah would definitely be better on an enduro or DH bike, but the Jeffsy wasn't too bad!

More travel would be great for the park, but 140 did the trick!
With another year of experience, you think you'll hit the black diamonds next summer? I'm still on rookie status, so blues and greens for me.
@@huntstyle that's awesome. I actually think I've seen that video of yours too. I'll probably watch it again. Keep up the good work!!
@@just_b_nathan6949 Thanks man!
Sick video Matt, Ken and I will be hitting this up in June with a few ppl. Come join the fun
When in June?

Great audio balance this time! :)
Haha, yes! I was very meticulous with it! This is too loud, now this is too quiet, I gotta adjust this... lol!
AF is on my list to go to
