If it's Storm Shadow, it's not the Ukrainiens who attack Russia, but GB !!!

    • @mirba6933
      @mirba6933 26 days ago +27

Not even Great Britain, they don't have enough Stellites, in sufficient quantities, for that purpose. Only the US, Russia and maybe China are capable of fully using satellites for these purposes!!? Maybe they have, but NATO member states allegedly have contracts with the United States in this sense!!?

you have evidence that the U.K. actually launched the drone... and many of the drones the Russians use are NOT made in China or Iran.... Just asking

@40beretta1 Drones don't require specialists from the manufacturer / nation of origin to launch. Storm Shadow missiles apparently do require GB engineers and so forth. Comparison between Storm Shadow and drones is not a like-for-like comparison.

Proper response from Russia. Just proper.
You honestly think this is the only chemical factory Russia has? then think again. It will have ZERO impact on the SMO.
And the best joke is. ZelenSSky trying to "force" Putin to negotiate, whilst it is ZelenSSky that outlawed negotiations, and is the one sabotaging every peace attempt. I mean the amount of BS floating around is mind-blowing.
On the ground, This will end on Russia's terms, in the manner it pleases Russia and when Russia decides to end it. European can do fvck all about it. The only thing Europeans can do is put them self in a position to become a target. I believe that a precision strike on the MI6 building in center of London could convey a very powerful message to the European war hawks.
This behavior of certain European nations is the very reason why Ukraine must be neutral, otherwise the provocations will continue till one side is completely wiped out, and I don't think, as things are, that it will be Russia.

@DadiDad-n5iPresident Putin does not bluff, his patience is not being recognized by many and mistakes it for weakness. Do you think that the US will really engage Russia directly in a war if Russia retaliate directly against NATO? Both the US and Russia knows the price that we all would have to pay if this escalate, the UK and EU doesn't think about what would happen to their citizens if the escalation happens. The US will never trade NY for any EU country, NATO is just a money making machine for the US, if Russia retaliate, they will quickly demand a ceasefire, article 5 is a scam.

In the current situation, a presidential-level meeting between the Washington administration and the Russians is needed above all by the Americans. Russians, as Lavrov puts it, create the realities on the ground, and the realities on the ground are that Russians will take what they want and do it at Western Europe's expense. Russian money frozen by the West wouldn't save Kyiv, because the West lacks weapons, and Ukraine lacks capable and ready personnel. By stealing Russian assets, Western Europe would condemn itself to a symmetrical response from the Kremlin, because Russia has no shortage of Western capital. America has already denied participating in the theft of Russian money. Furthermore, Trump fabricated the entire conversation with Modi, so his ability to think rationally is in serious doubt. Even time is now on Russia's side.

The problem is no parties as far as I know are promoting any form of negotiation certainly, not Reform, Labour nor Tories . I not sure of the Green party policy perhaps they will grow a pair and start promoting dialogue, but I will not hold my breath. The only comments reported on Farage has been if Russian aircraft intrude UK airspace shoot them down, so that shows his mindset. Personally I dislike Farage anyway, he a populist and pretends to be one of the boys which could not be further from the truth. It looks as though he will be the next PM which really reflects the quality of politicians in the UK that also applies to Europe when you look at the shower of ..... that governing Germany, France and Finland and the majority of Europe.

Striking Russian territory will certainly not convince Putin to stop the war, on the contrary. Many people say that showing strength and striking Russia is the only way to stop the war, but I think it is the opposite: Zelensky (and occidental leaders) do not want peace (based on reasonable tradeoffs) and the only solution for Russia, at the moment, is to carry on taking territories and striking back very hardly.

Hitting a factory a few times doesn't mean "destroying it". Factories are giant, with multiple halls and buildings of concrete and steel that can take multiple hits and be repaired and be hit time and time again.
In WW2 Russian factories were subjected to non-stop shelling and bombing from the Nazi Germany and they still functioned day and night and even when assaulted and the Nazis were entering them, new tanks were rolling out the other gates as the work never stopped.

Ukraine is not attacking Russian territory and assets to prevent all future negotiations. Ukraine has lost the war and the only card they might have at future negotiations that can obtain Russian concessions is “look at how much damage we can do to Russia’s economy and assets”. Ukraine needs to prolong this war and delay negotiations so they can terrorize Russia into not requiring total Ukrainian capitulation at final negotiations. This strategy probably will fail because Russia probably can reduce Ukraine into a Stone Age country before Ukraine can do the same to Russia. This is one reason why Trump didn’t wish to waste Tomahawk missiles on Ukraine. There isn’t enough of Tomahawks to Stone Age Russia and giving those missiles also raises the basic question whether USA is now directly at war with Russia. (USA crossing a potential WW3 red line with nuclear armed Russia) Zelensky wants to prolong war so he has another day of self-importance and to avoid being hanged for Ukrainian defeat and current EU leaders want to prolong war to remain in power. When Ukraine capitulates, the EU citizens will likely retaliate by voting the current leadership out of power. The EU might even have countries requesting exit from EU because a Russian victory means NATO and EU dreams for someday expanding to the Chinese border are over.

*WHY EVERY ONE IN THE WEST PREFERS THE COMPLETION OF THE SMO TO ANY DIPLOMATIC SETTLEMENT:*
For Russia the SMO is the best of all scenarios. Liberating all Russian territories in the former Ukraine will automatically solve de-militarization, de-nazification and neutralization in those regions.
All liberated and reunited territories will never again pose a problem to Russia.
For Trump with the imperial establishment at his neck it is impossible to agree to any compromise. If he agrees to clear all Russian territories or for the Ukraine to never join NATO he will lose the mid-terms and Vance will not become his successor and MAGA dies.
*Trump’s best alternative is to play the peace loving daddy and confuse the establishment with that so it does not recognize his real intentions, and to buy time for the SMO- so it establishes hard facts on the ground which he can easily rubber stamp.*
Facts on the ground is the one thing the imperial establishment accepts as reality.
For the Europeans, who triggered the conflict trying to grab the Ukraine as dirt cheap resource in 2013, the SMO is the only acceptable solution too!
They are ready to accept the frontline as it is. So the SMO just moves the front line to the Dnepre and north of Odessa and the Europeans will sign off on that no matter how rabid pro-war they are.
*Signing off on the SMO reality can always be depicted as having stopped the Russians and a victory by the Empire’s establishment media.*
Russia and the World will see the result for what it is: Russia will have stopped the aggressive expansion of the US empire successfully and gained full sovereignty and economic autarchy for generations to come.
BRICS and the World want the empire to be contained once and for all and thus the SMO to be completed.
Ideally for all conflict parties the Ukraine is dissolved and no one needs to sign anything
*ERGO: TO COMPLETE THE SMO IN FULL IS THE BEST SOLUTION FOR ALL CONFLICT PARTIES AND THE WORLD*

Perfectly understandable, given EU reactions & plans, Russia sees Ukraine as an extension of renewed Western threat to Russia. Why I have repeatedly emphasized that the only probable road to peace is the establishing of Ukraine as a neutral group of autonomous states that are bound by treaty to assuring fundamental rights to all their citizens. In theory that would create a Crimean state, a Donbas state of uncertain and to be negotiated borders, and a Ukraine state that would remain under a new, duly elected, Kyiv regime. I cannot see any way out of the mess other than that, to avoid Russia pursuing a very probable total defeat of Ukraine. That then perpetuating various problems for both sides into the future that could be mitigated and even eliminated by means of assured total neutrality of the Ukraine region. I believe we need to do everything possible to press the current Kyiv regime to cease hostilities and to agree to a plan that would provide a three autonomous state solution to the conflict. Less than that will most probably deeply trouble the world, hindering global progress, peace and security, for at least the rest of this century. That is a very grim option. In light of that we must seek ways to normalize relations with Russia after a peace agreement is signed. We need to promise them every effort in that regard as part of the motivation toward achieving peace.

I remain exasperated why Russia does not use all its capabilites to achieve total victory. Limited wars become endless wars. Ceasefires become defeats. Once Nordstream pipelines and the dams on Dnepr were blown up, the self-imposed restraints should have been removed. In the three years since, USA/NATO support has enabled Ukraine to attack every part of Russia.
It is my understanding that Oreshnik is a hypersonic missile which can deliver an explosion which is nearly as potent as a nuclear weapon can deliver. I don't know how many Oreshniks are currently available for launching; but the number of vital links between NATO/USA and Ukraine are limited as well.
All transportation links between Poland and Ukraine and Romania and Ukraine could be destroyed in a single salvo of Oreshniks. (Followed up by a second wave of ballistic missiles, if necessary.) All military and dual-use airfields west of the Dnepr could be destroved just as quickly by Oreshniks. (The air fields could be bombed periodically with cluster munitions in a second wave of ballistic missiles to impede repair.)
Beyond those attacks, the Russian Air Force could destroy the Starlink satellite communications network and take complete command of the air space over Ukraine. Ukrainian access to the Black sea can be closed by mines.
These are all within the capability of the Russian air and space forces. Once done, there would be no way for Ukraine to attack deep into Russian territory from within Ukraine itself, and no way for it to sustain the war against the Russian armed forces within its territory.
