With it's straight 6 cylinder diesel engine (Cursor 11) developing Max Torque 2150 Nm @ 925 - 1500 rpm & Max Power 338 Kw / 460 hp @ 1500 - 1900 rpm.
Rear axle ratio 2.47

@@stavros969 I've never been an Iveco fan but in fairness, that's a fine looking truck. It's funny that it has the same key as the Fiat 500 😄
It's days like this, I'd love to still be working in transport, so I could visit my Gran on a run from Limerick to Dublin. Only another week before I can do that again though 😊
The s-way doesn't look ground breaking in anyway. Also not sure if they should of called an HGV "sway" 😀. I used to work on HGVs back in the day and used to like iveco especially the turbostar. Please can you review a turbostar if you get a chance Stavros. Keep the great videos coming. It was a good way to start fathers day. Cheeers.

IVECO builds reliable, affordable priced, low running costs, and comfortable trucks.
Many fleet managers will opt for this IVECO, especially due to its lower purchasing cost, and because they buy in bulk. Especially those fleet that work only on domestic cargo.
Thus, many trucks drivers will be behind the wheel of a S-Way, sooner or later.
I really like to see a comfortable truck, safer, with many good utility functions.
This will ease the life of many drivers.
I am really happy, for the truck, and for the brand.
@ArmageddonRacing I am not saying they are the best in class - far from it.
But, IVECO (part of the FPT Group) are fairly reliable.
Mercedes-Benz (Daimler Group) is also fairly reliable.
The difference between the two is: the price of maintenance is very different between the two.
IVECO é fairly cheap to repart, but Mercedes-Benz is not.
And do not forget:
Maybe, an issue on an IVECO may compensate the cheaper price you pay upon purchase.
Even counting the part price, labour price, and cost of opportunity of losing a given load.
The thing is: such metric makes sense for a fleet manager.
Not for a freelancer, which many trucker are.
Freelancer prefer reliability, even if it means more cost (on purchase and on parts); especially - but not limited to - the fact that they do not have the infrastructure to rescue a truck, or because the insurance premium may go up significantly when the truck and load needs to be towed.

I don't have nothing to do with trucks or truck business but I watch every video. I drove a couple many may years ago in a farm. One was a bulk feed 20t 6x4 rigid and the other was a tipper. They were MANs built under licence. Almost 30 years have passed and I will never forget.
I'm from Venezuela, and here the truck drivers loves the old Iveco Stralis

Still not a fan of Iveco but its nice to see the brand heading in the right direction, the exterior is a huge improvement.
I was gutted when i got handed a pair of IVECO keys at my new job but after a week in it... I'm seriously impressed! It has some really nice features and I've honestly never had a better nights sleep in a truck. The sound insulation is amazing and I dont hear a thing through the night, no more getting woken up when the trucks either side leave before you.
I gotta say, when I first saw this on the internet and ets 2, I wasn't too excited, but this video made me change my mind! 😁Kinda excited now!
man, I arrived here because initially I saw how cozy it is inside and how comfortable truckers are, now I thought what if instead of the large container behind it, someone turns it into a mobile home, where the size of the area behind it can be custom build so it could be an extended living space. A mobile home is what I am pointing out. A truck life.
Iveco really need a complete cabin overhaul... and a personal identity of your trucks. Nice video Stavros.
I like the name, the color, and the look of the outside. the extra tire can be handy but the air tank placement is dumb. I like that the catwalk steps are on the passenger side so you have to walk all the way around the truck to unhook your trailer. I hope when this truck comes out this one is the basic model. It seems all the other truck brands have so much more to offer in new tech and IVECO added air ride to the cab lol. I think the way this truck sits it would be good for the guys that don't take care of there trucks, they just want to hop in and go. Stavros, thanks for showing off this truck I did enjoy seeing it. Keep up the great work your really working hard these days for us to have great content. Stay safe, keep trucking, and cheeeeers!

...or.... similar to Freightliner argosy maybe?! I don't see why should it be copy of Scania? Iveco has produced some good designs also in the past, they have knowledge and capabilities as well. I myself like almost all trucks out there, european and american, with preference to DAF and Scania, but i'm always trying to be objective.

The main designer of the Scania next gen is the same person who deisgned the new Iveco. The design of the Iveco was already made before 2010.

I think the interior worked well in the stralis it's familiar with small tweaks, I like the full curtains, no more gaps at the side of the blind and introduction of usbs as most electronics are USB, I get my new one in April so a good insight thanks

I drive one....and I'm happy with it....I changed only the matras....I ordered a wider and stronger one....
....I drove different brands of trucks the last 30 years....most of the time Scania.... but now I'm really like my new Iveco....
....i want to keep him for a long time....and I hope that I don't have to switch back to the boneshaker Scanias....

I saw one at my work last month. Blue S-Way from SESE Transporte (Spanish). Truck looks really nice.
I can see a similarity to the Scania R and S series. It looks pretty good actually.
A dipstick! Lord almighty!
I had a trail of oil running from my Actros the other week so got a call out. My digital oil gauge said I had several litres of oil missing and there was what seemed a large amount of oil dripping from the engine.
Turns out the breather valve was a little weak and not that much oil had escaped as by the time the call out got to me the sensor read "oil level ok".
If only I could have double checked somehow.

@@jamesknight9676 i was given a stralis to drive last month just over a year old. got to where i was due to tip jumped out shut the cab door and the handle fell off so every time i want to get in or out have to use near side door what a pile of *^%$ give me a DAF any day

Seen a puppy just like this in April, didn’t noticed the plates if it was a Prototype or a regular registration, but Iveco has a pleasure driving preproduction units in my country. It’s beautiful in real life, though that all black grille looks a bit bland. I like the dashboard layout with the satnav in the drivers field of view. Probably the best layout, though my heart goes after a Scania 580Sß
Can't help but notice the Freightliner Cascadia resemblance of the front grill and headlights. The door locks seems to be taken from the Volvo VN. And yes, I drove semis in North America. Can't wait to drive trucks in Europe and feel the difference!
Hi stavros I'm with you on the dashboard would have been nice to bring it in line with other manufacturers, that said overall it has a few nice touches and especially the fridge with the bottle only feature will there be any modifications before the vehicles become avalible in January I wonder,

among the things that stand out of this truck,which maintains the essentials ,Tacometro, velocimetro and other instrumental in analog form, also the mirrors, something very essential and that under no reason should be replaced by digital

Great video as always but yeah it nice on the outside but inside its just a stralis with a couple of changes really I would have preferred a total revamp of the inside as well especially with you see what other truck manufacturers have done with there new trucks.
