In fact, Islamic/Muslims indulged in Sufism which is the inner aspect of Islam, have spirituality works that go into all realms giving each its due respect, right, and acknowledgment. These realms are explored and appreciated, they are not taken as deities, their deity and our deity is just One, the Absolute One - the completely different to all, contrary to all 1's. Every one of these 1's is a realm, a different 1 from another. The primary connection is with the Absolute One realm. Among the 1's there is the highest of the 1's realms. Recognizing it and connecting with it accordingly and rightfully in return puts all realms (1's) into perspective, order, and harmony.
Spirited, flameless beings do not overwhelm/possess/dupe the trained Sufi in the Islamic sciences and doctrines and practices and disciplines like they do with the Maori, Samoan, American Indian, African, ...etc spiritual cultures. who unfortunately misperceived these spirited flameless beings as deities, when they too are in fact 1 realm of the realms. And all realms are unlike the Absolute One - the Creator of all realms.
We invite you to join one of our circles and to experience what the Absolute One will open for you. Get in touch with a traditional Sufi Master practitioner and hopefully, you will experience the Truth of what I have related. This I relate is from the tradition of the Original Man (not Absolute One) preserved uncontaminated pristine and complete and robust. The greatest genealogy line. The line connected with the Absolute One and with the highest one in and of the highest realm connected with all realms preserved by the Absolute One. إنا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون
I am a servant of Allah, a slave of His slaves, hopefully, we can meet up or get in touch. I am and live in the UAE.
May Allah bless Sister Mariam Arif. الله يعطيك العافية ويجزيك الجزاء الأوفى

Assalamu Aleikum WRWB. I am starting my new job as a year 3 tecaher from tomorrow. One of the first things we are doing for week 1 is to write your own Mihi. I came on youtube to find something, which would tell me more about what a Mihi is and I am blown away by your dedication and confidence. Thank you so much for putting this up.
