I bought my Prospector 16 two years ago and couldn’t be happier. The base model I chose has no adjustable/removable parts, foot bars, etc. Just two seats and a yoke. The simplicity keeps the interior wide open for camp gear or to move around while frog hunting with my nieces in the swamp.
I noticed that there is a ridge on the port side front that appears to be aligned with the floatation chamber in the bow. I speculate that this is caused by the epoxy resin shrinking as they cool and polymerize. Am I correct? I see it in both center canoes at the start of this video. . .
Bill - I just put in an order for the 16' expedition Kevlar. Question: If I was to make it the "combi", are the bow and stern seats removable? Dan in Pittsburgh :)

I love seeing that red beauty in your videos, I've seen her 4 times so far!
Couldn’t have come at a better time. I want one desperately.
You should design a light portable chair bottom so you can use those detachable seats sitting around the campfire...😊
The grey keewaydin 16 at 26 minutes ……do you have it for sale /in stock at the moment ?
We did sell that one but we can build one just like it for you! Do you want to chat on the phone?
Holy smokes. These are beautiful canoes.

You can notice the float tanks on many of the boats. The laminate is thinner there and you get a lsight print through.
How is a "combi" canoe different from a tandem for my wife and I, or a "pack" boat.

We can make both seats removable but would need to set that up during the build. Did you place your order through a dealer?
Do you ever put a kneeling thwart in a non-combi Kee16?
For the record, I asked that before I got to the kneeling thwart portion of the video! 😂🤣😂
@@NikonF5user haha all good. glad you found your answer!
