Exactly i was crying at the time at when i was 16 when Imran killed Gaz, and that made blood boil i want to unload the every bullet on Imran for taking Griggs and Gaz, and gaz was the funniest character in the game.
Jose Mercedes I didn't realize that was Gaz. It was until I noticed he wasn't in MW2 that I realized he died.

The same 1911 used to kill Zahkaev is still carried by Soap in MW2 and eventually hands it back to Price and when Soap dies its laid to rest on his body
I remember playing this. At first I thought you were playing as Jackson, because of the type of m4 soap was using, it was the same one Jackson use at the beginning of Charlie don’t shoot. So instead I thought Jackson survive at the end of aftermath because back then i didn’t know what KIA meant at the time. So I didn’t accept the fact that Jackson died in aftermath and that he pass out and was eventually rescue at the end of aftermath. Because when they showed grigg rescuing price team I thought jackson was part of the rescue team.

Russia need more "clean up" I'd say.
This is likely my #1 favorite mission in this game.

Many of the civillians were like as if it's an everyday thing seeing jeeps and trucks with men with guns and RPGs and an helicopter destroying a tunnel.
I was surprised that captain price was able to save Griggs from death

Until MW2, we all thought Cpt. Price was dead, due to the futility in the medic's efforts.
Until MW3 and the short film, we cannot explain why Price was imprisoned as 627. They even believed that he was captured RIGHT AFTER this mission.
So, I believe he survived, just pass out, not pass away. The after credits might be a decoy.
This Mission is better than World at War "Black Cats".

It's actually impossible to shoot down the chopper on the bridge.
Joe George Even if you hit the chopper it won't do anything to it.. I've hit it before a couple of times and it didn't blow up, that's how the story of the game goes.
Joe George Once I hit it with all my RPG rockets and the helicopter did go down and your tuck actually crossed the bridge and the mission made me get out of it and snipe Zakheav dead then the scene changed to Gaz Price griggs and the rest of the team drinking in a bar like it says on the beginning cut scene so it is a secret ending.

The original mw was a break through in gaming back in the day. The graphics, sounds, story, game play, cinematic. The multi-player was simple with very minimal killstreaks and things to unlock. The fun is all in the skills. To me this is the reason why cod4 mw is the best of all call of duty and neck to neck with the current mw.

Yes, it is. It can be done by either firing at just the right angle to hit it or with the use of a cheat code (infinite ammo and/or slow motion). But even if you hit it, it doesn't get destroyed. It's basically invincible.

This mission has glitch when i was far from that red car after the missile hit i was near red car....
What would have happened if you managed to take out that hind? ??
The game is scripted to have the hind to not take any damage

You gotta remember - It was KAMAROV who saved Soap and Price's lives. "I understand that you and your men could use some help." Although late to save Gas and Griggs, he was just in time to stop Price's and Soap's deaths. Sucks they didn't do anything more with him until MW3.
Even then we barely saw him for 2 missions in MW3. Damn shame.

Cod 4 characters are golden, every single one of them. I am so pissed off that they've turned Gaz into a black dude. It's not because hes black, It's because they are lazy and not creative. I'd totally be fine him being Ghost or Roach.
I finished the game in 2 days, and the ending is actually so sad... I loved Griggs, I remember saving him, and Gaz has been there since the beginning...

You know what i just realized? In this version, the SAS/Marines by the other jeeps were also trying to take down the Hind with stinger missiles, while in the remastered they did nothing and let Soap do all the work with an RPG.
I wished they kept that feature.

Same, had lots of fun with the game, and I really hoped that Gaz would survive.
I'll be legit tho, unlike what I saw in the video, I didn't know that Gaz died, since the Wii version didn't show the blood effects when he was shot.

@@jimbo9990 The soundtrack has been about here and there, if you look hard enough for 10 minutes. I only cherry-picked the best pieces, including this one- which I can give you if you IM me, but I strongly suggest you look up the whole thing.
The cod4 sound files are mega easy to extract, literally turning stuff into zip files, thats it. Look up a guide in how to do it and you have all the music in the game

@fudgepacker you can with cheats unlocked by intel collection (at least for original version)
Imagine being on those helicopters trying to reach those men, staying low likely due to radar, coming around the corner and seeing the scene of the helicopter and smoke from the tanker. And you could see somewhat men getting picked off casually. You can take out the chopper and the men on the ground but there's nothing you can do for the men killed mere minutes before. An eternity for you in the fight, but just as plausibly an eternity for them in the flight.
