so far ive gotten 3 shines since the background update.. first one was Venonat, second one was Trubbish (during spotlight hr) and Charmander this morning...

I got 12 trubbish shinies but no luck on anything else.
8:01 first shiny for me with the background was a shiny shadow cancea and it was my first one of the Shadow shiny
Yeah I have caught 6 shinies during the update was Pidgeot then binacle from field research 2 trubbish onix a Cubone and also a shiny bronzor 🙄 but still going good hoping to get shiny Hitmonlee Hitmonchan Electabuzz eevee Magmar and Staryu shiny
That is some CRAZY shiny luck! Congrats! I am also loving the biome backgrounds. So beautiful- they add an extra dimension to the game.

During spotlight hour I saw no shinies, but I was in the house and in the last few minutes I got 1 incense spawn and two regular ones that appeared, just enough to get the candy for an evolution! Gotten 2 shinies since the update, bulbasaur yesterday and ponyta a few hours ago
So far with the new backgrounds I've gotten shiny Charmander and shiny Scraggy

IV fusion Pokemon is an average of the Pokemon being fused.
One Pokemon shiny and other one is non shiny Pokemon can't allow to fuse.

I got 5 shiny trubbishes yesterday.
I got 3 in 5 minutes, it was stupid easy with the boosted odds
My first shiny with the new biomes was a shiny charmander
so far i’ve gotten 4-5ish shinys 1 before from GBL which was a marowak and got a shiny charmander now a charizard from the research and yesterday a growlith and i got today and shiny oricorio

I got 5 shiny’s ✨ yesterday, too!!! 🎉 We love it!! I got my first shiny trash bag!
I like the update but they need to add a way for players to turn the background off for the players like me with not the best phones.
Make sure you any of the "fancy graphics" options switched off in Advanced Settings (I'd probably include Native Refresh in that as well).
Also make sure you've downloaded the latest lot of Visual Assets.
There's a very easy solution don't use your daily incense while using your auto catcher just turn it off my boy you would have caught that
