Yes, we are very friendly people. You ladies did an excellent job showcasing Barbados. I left home at 17, but home is always home. Retirement is around the corner. Coming back to enjoy it just as you did.
Bridgetown may close "early", i.e the shops and surrounding food areas close generally by 5 or 6 but there are plenty of places to eat after then. Mainly restaurants both small owned and stand alone or in hotels. Kitchens generally close around 9/10pm though, but the restaurants stay opened till about 11pm or after.
@@TwoFeetOneWorld1 sadly i will not be able to see my granny though :( she passed in January with all of us by her side witch is really gonna make me cry. going back to her house
There is a Republic Bank where you can change money at the airport. Also they have ATM's available at the airport in case you came in on the red eye flight and the bank is closed.
@@marymills7116 Sure! There is Cafe Sol, Cocktail Kitchen, 6 mix, Mojos, Worthing Square (Lots of Food trucks there). Lemon Grass express (In Christ Church) there is also a lemon grass on the west coast in an area called Holetown. You can google those for there exact locations. There are so many great places to eat in Barbados!
@@jasharz08 thanks so much this is really helpful! I’m vlogging my month here also so if I go to these places I’ll mention you! We went to surfers cafe and had the flying fish with pepper sauce and that was amazing!
@@marymills7116 you are so welcome!! There is also a place called Shakers. They are in Christ Church also. There food is good. Enjoy your time in Barbados!!!
Did y'all go to st Lawrence Gap on your next visit you should check it out full of action and close late its only in town that close early there's plenty of bajan food all over the island don't understand why you didn't find any, also plenty of nights spots in christ church..
Try Copacabana next time it's situated on Carlisle Bay, if your downtown again and want authentic Bajan food cave Sheppard has a cafeteria top floor you can't miss it has the longest line best food ever!
If I’m not mistaken there’s a machine or a booth you can go to to exchange the money in the airport. Good thing is, they accept American money. I need to go back soon
Great video barbados food u can find in town throughout the small street & st. Lawrence area in the night they cell food out the hotel & night clubs. All men in any countries try to hustle foreigners. I love barbados, travel there twice carnival was wonderful
If you went to Oistins you could get good up to midnight maybe a little after. St Lawrence Gap have restaurants and street vendors selling food up to 4am. I go every year so just a heads up for next time. Nice vlog of my country tho 👍🏾
There are a lot of places to try bajan food. Going to broad street stop in at Cave Shepherd. Let's not forget Sheraton Centre. Try Oistin at night especially Weekends. Just ask questions, most bajans will help you out.🇧🇧🇧🇧
There are so many spots with amazing bajan food. You’re just going to the wrong places. Also not everything closes early you’ve either gone to the wrong place or at the wrong time, we just after tourist season things start shutting for a couple months
Guess you were referring to the city ..... everywhere else restaurants, bars, and upbeat dinners dine into the wee hours ..... travelling by cab is still the easiest, and very cheap ..... think in US dollars !! 😊
Hello precious ladies I like your video from here in montreal where I live. I was surprised to hear you say you did not see a lot of local meals and thanks for that. Stay lovely
If you are looking for Bajan Food specifically you can try Brown Sugar. Apart from that there are lots of local shops that sell Bajan Food. It depends on the area you are in. If you are taking taxi's you can ask the driver to take you to local spots that sell bajan food.
I think when I was in Barbados everyone kept on asking me if I found using money difficult, and I was like NO, now I have a feeling I was paying for everything in US dollars. LOL.
Jamaica has a lot more things to do and it's more beautiful., better vibe. Barbados seems to be for old people. Nothing to do on a Sunday. That's old people style. You would'nt have to take so much public transportation just hire a driver.and they will take you around. It seems tiring taking so many public transportation. I thought you are on vacation. Who close their stores at 5pm.Thanks for the vlog. I would only spend 4 days there no week ends,

Love it. Brits abroad go straight for an Irish bar, fry up and Neil diamond disco. "I didn't leave the west, to eat like them" superb
Bridgetown closes pretty early..but there are many restaurants in the Christ Church area to eat until late! Come again!
