Lion Country Safari, West Palm Beach, Florida

Lion Country Safari is a drive-through safari park and walk-through amusement park located on over 600 acres in Loxahatchee (near West Palm Beach), in Palm Beach County, Florida. Founded in 1967, it claims to be the first 'cageless zoo' in the United States.
In 2009, USA Travel Guide ranked Lion Country as the 3rd best zoo in the nation.[2]

I remember going here in the 1960's when our family took our yearly vacation in Daytona Beach, but I have no clue where all the animals are hiding out?! I am amazed it is still a current roadside attractions, as a lot of the ones from the 1960's disappeared after Disney world took over. Great to hope the animals are still being sheltered there. Thanks for this video n walk down memory lane !!!

Here come some animals, they look like water buffaloes!!! Love the recording going on during the drive teaching you about these animals in these preserves!!! Awesome place to go!!!! Would love to drive through this again someday!!!
