I've had this tv for a little less than a week and so far I am very pleased. I'm coming from a less than great tv, so this is a MASSIVE step up. I have the 75" and took advantage of Samsung's promos for upsizing and trade in.

Nice. I currently have a 55 inch vizio, that Was pretty good for the first few months or couple years that I had it, and I thought it was the big, 4k jump that I was gonna have But honestly, I didn't see much of an upgrade from 1080p to 4k And yes, maybe it was that model, and I spent $530 dollars on it, And I found out that I don't like the interface, it's really slow too, My friend bought the new Sony Bravia. Tv and in his opinion, if you want the best you have to spend the real money for it, So I plan on replacing this vizia, with exactly this samsung Upgrading from 55 to 65 and getting samsung This exact t v, It'll be a much big step up the same with you
More dimming zones on qn85c doesn't necessarily mean better picture, as some comments on here suggest. The newer qn85d has fewer zones but uses a VA panel and has a better processor and algorithm so doesnt require more zones.
@matthewlacrosse1330 Multiview allows you to watch two different sources at the same time. For example, you can stream a video from the RUclips app on your TV in one widow while watching a BluRay connected to one of the HDMI connections in another window. They have to be two separate sources though, it won't work if you try and run two videos through two HDMI connections. Hope that helps! Hi, im considering buying one of the 3 Sony x90l / QN85C / QN85D, which would you say is the better option,as i understand the samsung ones are better because of the mini led , but which of the QN85 is better if they are the same price for me?
@st3lvy Honestly, the best one for you is the one you think looks best, but if you're not able to see them all in person here's what we recommend: We like the brightness offered by the Samsung models and the QN85D is the newer of those two, so we'd recommend going with that. But the color quality on the Sony is amazing too and Google TV is a fantastic operating system. Also, if you watch a lot of Dolby Vision content, the Sony supports that HDR format. Samsung supports HDR10+, which is still very good, but not found on quite as much mainstream content. Give us a call at 800-860-3736 to speak with one of our TV experts for more help if you're still having trouble deciding. We always enjoy finding the perfect TVs for our customers various needs!
How many dimming zones does this tv have? I had purchased the philips pml 9008 and sent it back , because i was shocked by the amount of dimming zones it had (around 120). Thanks in advance for answering 😁.
Well structured video, to the point. Thank you. What i don't like about Samsung is that they make 3 (85 90 95) fairly similar - to ordinary customer - TV lineups with significantly different prizes. It is HELL to compare detailed specifications for me. If they make these lineups it should be super easy to compare DETAILED stats of what i should pay for as "premium". And not 40W vs 60W sound, but then you have to dig deep through RUclips to find out that the speaker setup is not only more powerful but also has different layout, etc.
@maXXik1337 Stay tuned. We plan on making a comparison video establishing the differences between those three models in the near future. You can also give our TV experts a call at 800-860-3736 and they can go over the benefits of each with you.

Pick for me LOL Do you think Samsung will have a better 98 inch TV next year Around the DU 9000 price
@paulsouders3489 We also have the 85 inch QN85D series for $1798 (thru 12/15). As far as future pricing goes, it's hard to predict. We'll be attending CES 2025 in a few weeks and will hopefully have updated information at that point. We'll be posting videos from the Samsung booth so be sure to check in with our channel.
@mzeewakijiji8133 We'd say you're better off going with the bigger screen on the QN85D. The picture quality isn't radically different between the two models, but the 85D is a much newer TV. The big advantage the QN95B has is it comes with a One Connect box, if you like that feature.
Hello friend, I follow you from Turkey. There are very high taxes in Turkey and TV is very expensive. Do you think you would recommend me to buy Q80D? Is there much difference between them and QN85D?
@mustafakaya2842 There is a noticeable difference in the brightness and dimming capabilities between those two models, but the Q80D is still going to provide a terrific quality picture.
@burakkarakus1907 It depends on what features you prioritize. If you're just looking for a TV with a great picture and you don't need the most updated processing power, the QN85C at a 25% discount is a fantastic value.
@chidieberekenneth3295 We don't carry the QN700C in the US market so it's hard to say definitively, but we'd say to go with the QN85D since you get the bigger screen. 8K is definitely great, but is a far more valuable feature on a larger screen size.
@SiliconSpirits Unfortunately we do not currently have a scientific way to measure the brightness. The eye test suggests this is brighter than the QN85C it replaces, but we can't say that definitively.
@SiliconSpirits Slightly. If you already have a QN85C it isn't worth upgrading to the 85D, but if you're replacing an older TV then it's a great way to go.
Hello guys, I have in plane to buy for few days new tv. In my mind I have 2 options, can someone tell me which one is better. QN90C or QN85D? Thank you, all the best.
@iammilos3203 The QN90C is still going to be ahead of the QN85D. Expert calibration from the factory and better dimming will provide an improved picture over the 85D. If you need help selecting the right size be sure to contact our TV experts at 800-860-3736. They can also tell you about any promotions we have running that can't be advertised online.
@sj460162 The QN95C is going to be an improvement because of the number of dimming zones and the expert calibration from the factory, but the new processor on the QN85D does a great job at making up for some of the differences.
@@abtelectronicsSamsung actually has a history of better black level performance on their TVs with fewer dimming zones. I've always thought fewer zones was actually a bit of an advantage because it is less taxing on the processing, they can be controlled with much better precision. I owned a Samsung QN90A which I purchased to replace my 2018 Samsung Q8FN Junior flagship that only had 40 zones of local dimming. Despite this the Q8FN had vastly better black level performance with far far less blooming. I'm noticing the same thing with the QN85D I just purchased versus the Hisense U8N that has 1600 local dimming zones on a 65-in screen- The QN85D has substantially better overall black level performance than the Hisense.
