I just received my Alinco DR-MD500. Thanks for the video. This is helpful. I am new to DMR today. I'm fumbling my way through the software and radio. I am still looking for the analog squelch - hihi. I have a first-generation SharkRF Openspot that I am using for DStar, so I may add another profile for DMR. If anyone knows of any videos specific to this rig, please let me know.
I bought a used DJ-MD5 and having trouble connecting to my windows 10 laptop. I searched the web and it seems it is common. Thinking about buying a windows 7 laptop from ebay for programming old radios. Also the factory reset doesn’t work when you do PTT + PF1. I get an error message saying ‘DSP CH not Support’.
Hi thanks for taking the time to put the information together I've inputted all the channels but now I've not got a clue how to send it to radio it says select port but it's blank like the radio isn't even there, thanks in advance I really appreciate any information.
