There's an achievement if you kill the boss in the bathroom so that he's visible in that final cutscene; I find it quite funny to see Lara about to calmly take a shower while his corpse is lying right there 😄

Can’t believe we’re this far into the remaster already! When I think back to when I first played TR2 on the channel, it took me six months to complete. And now I’ve done TR1, Unfinished Business and TR2 in 3 months! I’ve just been so obsessed with it 😂 I’m really happy you get to relive it on the channel! It’s been such a meaningful experience for me to share this with you all 🥹❤️

Suzanne, I can't wait for you to do Tomb Raider 3. At this time I'm still in the 1st Tomb Raider at the Atlantean Arc and then I'm going to do the Unfinished Business and then do Tomb Raider 2, Tomb Raider 2 The Golden Mask. Your playthrough has helped me so much since I got my PlayStation 5 back in April. I truly do enjoy them.

This level is quite difficult in NG+ and there's also a difficult/annoying achievement where you have to kill _all_ the enemies _inside/on_ the carpet of the (very dark) ballroom while the music is playing (but I think you only have to press the button once). In the end I managed but it was a bit frustrating🙄😅

This is probably my favorite mission in the game, just because it's so different and really cool. I mean, fighting off a home invasion with nothing but a shotgun? Badass. And all in her bathrobe. 😅
I still think it's funny that Lara just goes and takes a shower while her home is full of dead bodies. That will be interesting to explain to the police. "Yes Officer, I would have telephoned earlier after my home was broken into and I killed a bunch of intruders and their dogs, but I was busy washing my hair."
@Rocket1377 Even more so if you go for the trophy/achievement where you have to kill the boss in the bathroom. "Oh him? Well, that's what happens when they've seen enough."

This is one of my favourite levels of the whole franchise.
I played the mansion so much it really felt like these enemies were on MY terf!
And we finally get inside the cupboard next to Lara's bed!
(At the time I wrote to core design for help cos I couldn't find the key for it when playing the mansion. I will have been about 13 I think They actually wrote back! They explained that Lara gets the key later in the game and they sent me some stickers. that made me so happy ❤)

i suggest anybody who hasn't played Souls to start with the first game, Demon's Souls.
i'm hoping Suzanne will check out Shadow Man which is kind of like Souls meets Tomb Raider and i love it.
Shadow Man came out in 1999 and i'd love to see someone who has already been trained on classic Tomb Raider learn to navigate those stages .

6:21 Oh, I like this. Dark enough to be atmospheric, but not the total blackout of the original version.
6:59 IIRC, if you trap the thug who comes into the kitchen in the fridge, you can delay the level ending, and once you’ve taken out the rest of the Fiamma Nera goons, you can explore the darkened manor and grounds for as long as you like, without having to worry about cultists trying to kill you. And when you’ve had enough of that, go back to the fridge and shoot the villain who’s chillin’ to end the game.
Haha I can imagine Winston doing this the next day when he shows up for work, just sighing and going to get the wheelbarrow 😂😂😂

And I just have to tell you that I felt the same way with TR2R. I was really disappointed with the launch version but thankfully many of it has been fixed. No more 2D lamps like pictures on the wall in the Maria Doria. 😁 I also have a question for you about TR3 in general but I will save that for a later time. 🤔😄

I used to be terrified of this level, the low health and unexpected enemies in a dark version of Lara’s home just felt very frightening! But the remaster made it look so lovely! I can’t believe how cool the lit pool room looks!!

Same! It was so pitch black in the original and I used to be terrified running around outside not able to see a thing 😂 The pool room with the glass roof looked amazing! I am surprised to learn that you haven't played Anniversary. I actually really enjoyed that remake, it's my favourite of the Legend trilogy. I look forward to see what you make of it.

The Fiamma Nera act more like a mafia than a cult, so this is probably the remaining members out for revenge for Lara killing their boss. It wouldn't surprise me, though, if one of them actually wants the Dagger to become the new leader.
Dark Souls, eh? That should be interesting. Will you be keeping score of how many times you die in the game?

Hey Suzanne! As someone that is very bad at souls game and needs to be caried through them, don't worry if you can't finish a game like that. It's going to be find watching someone play a souls like for the very first time, it's a genre like no other. If your looking for some horror games, I'd recommend the silent hill series, if that's to scary, resident evil should be right up your ally.

Another one down, one more to go! (excluding the DLCS). I've been keeping up with your videos whilst playing through them myself. I'm trying out the new game plus which is a real challenge, especially the Atlantean mutants in TR1!
2:44 now I'm imagining a duel between Harry Potter and Lara... not sure who'd win that!
I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned this but there is a way by swapping the names of some of the files to change outfits for the different levels, so you can play TR2 outfits in TR1 etc. Hopefully they'll add something to do this on the fly in an update but if you ever want to swap the outfits around in levels there is a way to do it now without any mods.
What was your thoughts on doing the Guardian of Light/Temple of Osiris playthroughs in the end? Would you do them multiplayer or on your own if you did them?
TR3 has some really cool stuff in the remastered version and really looking forward to you playing that one.Looking forward to the rest of the remasters!

if you do Souls i suggest starting from the first one, Demon's Souls, but it's only available on PS3 and PS5.
i know you already saw my recommendation to play Shadow Man but i bring it up again because in a way it's the original "dark souls" as that's what you go around collecting in the game.
Shadow Man should also be more familiar to play as there is plenty of Tomb Raider style platforming and puzzle solving.
