They aren't after misinformation. They want to stop information. To find truth you very often have to hear both.

I feel the police published misleading information. They said the suspect was a minor and therefore they would not share any information, yet they did share some information.
They posted the suspects precise age, their place of birth and the city where they resided.
I thought no information, was meant to be no information.
Those three pieces of information is more than enough to prompt amateur private investigation, speculation and potentially dangerous accusations.

It was particularly egregious to brand rioters as "far right racists" simply because they were quick to accept that the perpetrator was a Muslim immigrant. The people of Stockport live a mere 8 miles from the Manchester Arena, where in their recent memory, 22 young people were killed by a Muslim. The Arena bomber was a young, second-generation immigrant, just as the young perpetrator of the child murders is. Pulitzer prize-winning author Lawrence Wright has spoken of a particular problem for the children of immigrants, or the children of foreign parents who sent them to be educated in the West. Such offspring, living in England, are not educated in the culture or language of their parents, yet also do not belong to the culture of the West. Thus unmoored, their disassociation makes such young people susceptible to radicalisation. Given that Starmer ignored the underlying, yet obvious resentments to immigration, in his haste to blame the protestors, it seems improbable that he will pause to consider the risks raised by Wright.
Old rule of life. If you can't, or won't defend something, then you probably don't deserve to have it. If you have been lucky enough to get it, sooner or later someone will take it off you.

I saw this information in loads of places, i remember someone posted it on a comment on RUclips, it was spread by loads of people so are police going to go after them as well or just high profile user with a large following who maybe more "right leaning"
