    🇺🇸 Did you know a oil manufacturer can call a lubricant a Full Synthetic when it's only 25% synthetic? AMSOIL is different because it is 100% Synthetic and has a higher film strength keeping the metal parts separated. AMSOIL allows less friction, less heat, less wear on the component. AMSOIL Signature Series motor oil has guaranteed protection for up to 25,000 miles or 1 year of normal driving.

      Yeah it takes thousands of miles to clean up the inside of a motor especially with the signature series and changing the filter.
      I've noticed the motor on my synthetic oil protection machine has really loosened up and has made a lot more power now after the second oil change

      I personally wouldn't mix anything with Amsoil as far as fuel additives one of them that I've had great results in the Channel with my personal favorite it's called the diesel injector Clean Plus seatained boost it's a green bottle I recommend the 16 oz bottle every full tank hasn't maintainer and two bottles over 3,000 miles has a heavy clean up those.

    Eben you missed a few steps when servicing this Allison Trans. You shouldn't have to change the internal filter in Allison Trans . Only to changed when the transmission is overhauled but u can change the filter if you want. Correct way to service Allison. Drain Trans fluid by removing drain pan bolt. Removed external fitter. Reinstall drain pan bolt. Fill Trans with fluid with 7 to 8 quarts . Start vechile. Let fuild come out external filter housing to filter runs clean . Shut off vechile.
    . Install new pre lubed external filter. Restart vechile . Top of vechile with trans. The steps I described. Flushes out all the old fluid in the convertor and flushes out the transmission cooler. I'm a certified Allison trans tech and guild member . Not bash your video . Just trying to pass on a little knowledge. I'm firm believer in Amsoil. I use it in all my vehicles . Corrvette, camaro and pick up trucks. Charles

      Jesus you do not hammer on her after you just replaced the transmission oil! Also “nice smooth buttery shifts” is the transmission slipping! You want firm shifts especially if you’re towing lots. If you’re slipping you’re building unwanted heat!

    How many miles do you change the transmission fluid on Duramax 2015?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  4 месяца назад

      It depends on the fluids used and the driving conditions......
      Personally if I had a truck like the Duramax and used it for towing I would change the transmission fluid every 15,000 miles of severe service City driving with Towing. If I was doing all highway driving well Towing I would do 30,000 miles or 3 years whichever comes first.
      If I live somewhere really mild like New Orleans and I didn't do any Towing and did all highway driving I would do 60,000 miles or 5 years whichever comes first. That's with the Amsoil 100% synthetic Signature Series ATF.
      If I had OEM fluids I would change it way sooner.
      Let's give a man a fishing pole & show him how to fish.

      Great question Chad honestly I don't remember it's been so long you'll see everything here on the lookup guide I always recommend getting a couple extra quarts just to be safe also mid model year they can also do a pin change on different components and Transmissions so it's always good to get more and when you use my personal link that would attach me to you in the future I'd always be able to answer all your questions about improving the performance and lifespan of your vehicles by choosing the right fluids as your independent Amsoil dealer I really thank you for being a part of my channel💯😃😊

    Just curious but how often do you change your ATF and filters out for normal maintenance on this 2013 Chevy 2500hd?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  Год назад

      That's a great question Austin if I was running the Amsoil Signature Series ETF fluid and it was my personal truck I would do the transmission fluid and filter every 40,000 miles of normal driving if I was doing all City driving or Towing I would do it every 20,000 miles.
      Also the fluid times out over time at oxidizes even if you don't put a lot of miles it's good to change it every 5 years.
      This will give you the very best value on the products as a 6-month preferred customer it's a one-time $10 fee gives you the 25% off and there's no Auto renew when you use my link below it will attach me to you so in the future I can always answer all your questions in the future about improving the performance and lifespan of your vehicles by choosing the right fluids as your independent Amsoil dealer👍

      Great questions Ronald yeah the most common thing is the car shifts slower also it starts to get clunky when you go from reverse park drive other things can be it won't shift at all once it gets really bad just depends on the car.
      I always recommend doing the ETF fluid every 30 to 60,000 mi depending on how you're driving if you're doing a lot of highway driving you're good for longer if you doing all city you want to change it a lot sooner this is the lookup guide it'll give you everything for your year make model and engine size.

    So what does it normally cost to change all the fluids in a diesel truck?

    • @Syntheticoilprotection
      @Syntheticoilprotection  Год назад

      That's a great question Dennis it would depend on the truck probably on a small diesel pickup truck probably around 1350.
      On an 18-wheeler I would guess somewhere around 5650 with labor just depending on who's doing it. Those are just estimates until I look at labor rates and other components because of inflation then it could be a little bit different👍
