It's pretty common on positive displacement blower cars. They hate inlet restrictions so intakes and tbodies can gain alot depending how much air you're trying to flow and how restrictive your previous setup was etc...

I sold a 2015 s550 that had a 2.3 tvs and bought the 1LE cuz i wanted something that made power and could actually handle in corners too.. Awesome car brother!
S550 handle pretty good especially if built to do that they are very capable. They can Def make power it isn't hard to top 700 on a stock long block on pump gas ⛽️

I love all cars, not brand loyal, and just got tired of drag racing. I enjoy going to a couple road courses a year and bombing the mountain roads around here much more than stupid fast highway pulls. over 700 on the street will get you thrown in jail quick.. And the IAT's on that little blower were through the roof after a couple pulls. I will stick with N/A power from now on.. When my 22 1LE makes 600 to the tire, it will be perfect.. Its prob at about 480-500 now and its a handfull already..

When you say "a ton of compression" what sort of numbers are you talking? I've got a CTS-V with a 12.5:1 compression running e85 with an unported blower, unported heads, upper pulley only and a healthy cam making about 700whp. I know I'm not pushing near as much air into my engine but how's it compare to the compression on these ZR1s
The crazy thing is that the ZR1 is the heaviest of the C6's lol...a C6Z06 with the Z07 package is under 3100lb. stock. Easy to see a C6Z06 under 3000 and especially a Z07 equipped car. This ZR1 has many aftermarket parts that ligthen it up. If that was a stock ZR1 with that guy in it, it would be 3550 ish +/-....
Not even a 100 shot. Seat, better shifting/60ft, and negative DA will probably crack a 7.99. 1900+ DA is terrible boost weather. He'll pick up atleast 50hp just from a negative DA.
This is impressive, however, not as impressive as the 68 L-88 Vette that runs 9.10 on stock tires. Big Block power naturally aspirated. You guys should gain alot more ET earlier as you dial this in, Hunt for 7's , you all have alot of power. Focus on the leave and all that lost traction before the 330. Great Work !
I guess technically it's a ZR1, but a 427 LSR block just feels wrong when claiming it's a ZR1 record. Might as well be a built GS at that point since you took the powerplant out of the car that makes it uniquely a ZR1. What's the ZR1 LS9 record? THAT seems more genuine to me, unless this 427 started life as an LS9 block that is....

It would definitely need meth if you are aiming for 900, we also don’t recommend that power level without proper fuel like E85.

We were not able to get back with it before the track closed unfortunately. It will be back out in early spring.
