It can be difficult to position the fly properly when setting up the tent alone, but I arrived at a strategy that makes it simple. Slide the pole through the sleeve first. Then grab one end and walk along the side of the tent while draping the fly into position.
Thanks for all of the great comments and thumbs up!!! I haven't had a chance to do the review vid yet, but I have used the tent. I'm very happy with it. It stayed dry during some intense rains. It ventilates very well even in very muggy weather, no condensation in the tent. I'm 6"4" and I can standup in it and even walk around with out having to hunch over. Plenty of room for a couple of oversized cots. I do wish the floor was a little more heavy duty. Be sure to get the footprint or use a tarp underneath. Once I set it up for the summer I will be putting some indoor/out door carpeting in it to protect the floor from the cot feet and other potential dangers. The other minor downside is a lack of storage pockets built into the tent, but there are plenty of loops sewn in. So it is easy to ad clip in storage pockets that you can by or make yourself. Overall it is a great tent and I am impressed by the overall construction.
Just bought one and used it for the first time. Worked great but what are the metal tube and ropes that are leftover supposed to be used for? Also did you have to adjust the tension of the cover or was it good out of the box? Thanks!

what is that small silver metal tube section that you took out when you sat in tent??
I got one at a thrift store for ten dollars and I was having problems assembling it. THANKS DUDE!!!! I'm going Rocky Mountains!
Thanks for the help man! My wife and I just bought this tent today and never had one this fancy. Now we know how to set it up a lot faster.
Thanks for taking the time to show the full setup. I was torn between this and the Base Camp 4. Looks like it will be the 6.
Thank you! the most detailed and no nonsense Video I've seen on this.

Bro why are you speeding it up and than switching camera shots at the same time it’s impossible to follow
is there some aversion to actually using words? nothing you can add, how to tighten, orientation, foot print, anything? again, worthless
