Even now they are bombing kids and calling it collateral damage. Its all because of prevalence of dehumanising religions in these areas that allows the government to convinve their people for such actions. Thankfully whether bjp or congress have come, our country has focused on development and infrastructure rather than arguing who's fairy tales are correct for admission in "heaven"

Just a minor correction. Pakistan did leave Bangladesh and give them their freedom but after surrendering 93000 soldiers shamelessly. The Indian army actually protected those soldiers from the enraged mob in Bangladesh who were ready to gut them at any instant for the atrocities they had committed, goes to show the difference in attitudes of both the militaries. One is a militant force and one is honourable military force.

Simon you forget or most probably are not taught the main reason for partition in your British education system, so here I start.
    1. India was supposed to be partitioned in a 6-12 month period by Mr. Radcliffe but the plan suddenly changed to divide the nation sized as a subcontinent in 1 freaking month.
    2. When both the nations were partitioned, the army chief's were British. And they did absolutely nothing to stop the invasion of Kashmir by Pakistanis.
    3. As the cold war had already started by that time and the 'n' weapon was out in open, USSR was doing its own reasearch to obtain one for its own, it's field testing area was in Uzbekistan area, so the partition of Jammu and Kashmir or it being given to Pakistan was of utmost use to the British to have a presence in the area to set up their listening and monitoring posts on gilgit area.
Although all the mistakes made by Indian and Pakistan throughout the partition, a gigantic load of blame needs to be accepted by Britain

My grandpa survived the partition being the youngest of 13, they escaped to Karachi by walking almost the whole way. There was a time he was in a market and he watched a man with a sword walk up to another and just chop his head off. They saw him and chased him to a mosque where he hid for three days even though his house was about 4-5 homes away. He escaped by jumping from roof to roof as a 6 year old. Once they were on a train and he got off to pee and two police stopped him and told him to pull his pants down to see if he was circumcised. He peed his pants and they walked away in disgust. He went back to the train and told his family and they quickly left the train and walked 20 miles to the next town where they learned everyone on that train had been shot. He then grew up in a refugee camp in Karachi until eventually making it to Chicago where he became a tool and die maker. We don’t know exactly how old he is because his papers were destroyed when they escaped, and even now he still has flashbacks and nightmares.

I don’t understand the point of trying to treat an uneven situation even-handedly. For those who don’t understand the reality of the situation, please do not have any false ideas. Pakistan has never been a competitor to India in any way. Not militarily, not socially, and certainly not economically. We have never had the need to resort to underhand tactics. We do not need to destabilise the Pakistani nation, as you have mentioned in the video, as it was never stable to begin with. All past transgressions can very clearly be attributed to one side, and it is India’s benevolence and peace loving nature that has always prompted us to look for diplomatic solutions to this problem. Most of us would be very happy for Pakistan to stop instigating us unnecessarily, so that they can finally focus on the well-being of their own people, which is something they should have done decades ago.

And within the backdrop of this story ... daily ... you can go to and watch the theatre of the 'The Lowering of the Flags' ceremony at the Attari-Wagah border between India and Pakistan. This ceremony shows the security forces of India (Border Security Force) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers) since 1959, performing this event. Crowds go wild, and soldiers on both sides goose-step in a chest-puffing ritual including a bizarre mix of pseudo-formal and competitive marching, flag-folding, chest beating, forceful stomping and almost comical high-stepping. This theatre symbolizes the countries' antipathy to each other ... yet every day ... at the end, the display ends with a brisk brotherly handshake.

Pakistanis trained Pakistani agents to infiltrate and terrorise Indian cities whereas India at most has provided financial support to the extremists, who are Pakistani and fed up of Pakistan. Pakistan has already showed its military dictatorship ruled wars create absurd human rights violation which they inflict on their own people. Pakistan was also found guilty of funding terrorist activities which is why it was put in the FATF list. I don't think you can equate the two acts of insurgency.

Pakistan is a country whose legal constitution is based on a medieval religious text, one that prescribes the death penalty for “blasphemers” and which maintains the duty of its followers to subjugate and convert non-believers. They have a long (and often ignored) track record of human rights violations against their Hindu, Christian, and Sikh minorities, including but not limited to systematic abductions of minor girls who are found “converted to Islam” and “married” to Pakistani men 2-3 times their age.
How does any democratic, secular nation reconcile with such a country and its ideology? I like your videos, Simon, but I think you tried too hard to make this sound like a bilateral problem. It would be like wondering why Americans and Nazis don’t get along and trying to lay the blame at both feet equally out of a sense of political correctness.

Pakistan is dancing with the death these few years, their aid is shortened and frequent power cuts. International companies are suspending their PAK branches.... Though the Army generals there are getting richer and richer. There is shortage of food and lack of jobs. Everything is sold by army including bread, cement, insurance. Also they haven't repaid their debt and and only pay the small amount of interest. Political instability and radical push from Taliban and separatist groups from Baluchistan are breaking the back of the nation

      4 million displaced.
1 million ( estimated) dead, nobody is sure about the exact number.
Most important, and this is a fact that everyone Indian and foreigners overlook completely.
The riots and killings started in Muslim majority Punjab and Bengal, against Hindus. Sikhs and Buddhists ( E Bengal). In retaliation riots also happened in E Punjab and W Bengal against the Muslims there. And even today, there are more Muslims in India than in Pakistan. India has never started any of the war's, and after the liberation of Bangladesh, India not only withdrew its army from there immediately, but made the USSR and East block countries, which were our allies and Nepal and Bhutan recognize Bangladesh as a country, before the UN. US. NATO. OIC and China did so. Bangladesh however remains totally ungrateful.

As per your words , if pakistan and India both are conducting cross border terrorism in each other's territory, would you care to explain why only one of them has been blacklisted by FATF and has been called state sponsor of terrorism by even the US and criticized for the same by the likes of UN , SAARC , SCO etc? Do you want to question the legality and biases of these institution? And if so , why is it when they say something about China or Russia , it's absolutely right and justified to you but in this case it's not ?
