I spent 6 weeks in Miami training for a new job. During my time there, I attended PenTab. I was extremely blessed by the great man of God! I am just hearing of his home going and am saddened but also excited that he has taken his flight. I will miss him and cherish his sermons and teachings. He was an outstanding person, a general in the gospel. This side of Zion will miss him greatly. Heaven has received on of Christ’s own.
What a great soul. I was pastor Stewart barber for 30 years. I use to cut the twins Dwayne & Dwight when young boys. A great man of God. Nothing bad whatsoever could be said about him. He has a heart of gold.
@TriciaPerry-mz7tc I don't quite understand all what the comment means. The Bible says whosoever calls on the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved. So if you start wherever you are now and begin with repentance and mean it Jesus will forgive you, save you, restore you.
A leader who was kind, humble, respectful and example in every way. He was a MENCH. My wife and we’re richly blessed by his example .I will see you in the other shore with the help of The Lord. Our condolences to sis Stewart, his children GCH, his bishop Sammy Stewart ( another Pentecostal giant and his family.

Bishop Stewart, a genuine soldier in the army of the Lord. Saw him this year at our convention in Moneague, he sang his last song and taught his last lesson. We didn't know we were seeing him for the last time. He is now in a better place. This troubled world is not our final home.
Well done gods good and faithful servant. I saw you the Saturday before you died the following day. At brother Garrick’s repast. As I was coming in with the food for the event there was wonderful servants helping to lift the pots but still you wanted to help so you stretched to open the door, so many help was there but you could not resist trying to help, I also remember when I brought a young woman to you while we were getting on the bus for youth camp she was been evicted from her home and you told her you would take care of the situation after camp.my god knows Your help had no boundaries I also reflect on a situation where a vital member had done something that could not hide , members thought that Sunday was going to take a reaction, you came to the pulpit singing it is well with my soul, at the end of the song you humbly uttered brethren I am not going to tell anyone how to live their lives . But one thing I can tell you church Robert Stewart (must ) make it in , make it to heaven he meant, bishop you are now home , I have no doubt you made it. May your wonderful soul rest in eternal peace,❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Love to your immediate family . Lady Stewart I remember telling you at brother Garrick’s funeral how beautiful you look that day and always smiling always please distribute those beautiful hearts to you and children and grandchildren love.
A life lived for JESUS! He was one of a kind. We knew Jamaica because of him and enjoyed those youth services ministering to people around Jamaica. That's how those churches were supported. Continue to be STRONG and keep focused on Jesus. You are all in our prayers.
Bro Bobby, as I had known him then, is one of the sweetest personality, the most admirable character, sold out for Jesus. It was in the early 70s at Pent Tab, Wildman St, that his along with Bro Sammy's and Bro Rushton's melodious voice and soul stirring songs propelled and drew me to make a total commitment to Christ. Soon after, in my growth at Kings Chapel, I had the pleasure to work with him in the formative years of the Youth Evangelism Outreach Ministry. He would come down from Kingston every Saturday to train a small group of us and to work along with us in this new ministry. He was so humble and dedicated. Although I always see him at conventions and other services over the years I never really speak with him until a few years ago after an inspiring service while greeting him, I asked, "Do you remember me?" He kindly smiled and said, "Yes, I do." He was listed amongst the most outstanding, power packed, anointed preachers everyone was eager to hear and to be present as he delivers the message. I am sure he is greatly missed by all and sundry who knew him and whose lives he had touched. His departure has left void in many hearts and situations of life. But by his life of example, I believe, he's gone on before awaiting that precious moment when the trump of God shall sound. Bishop Robert (Bobby) Stewart, you have run your race with excellence and the Good Lord has recognized your labour and has seen it fitting to take you home, saying, "Come rest my child." Be of good cheer. Sleep on my brother, and take your rest.
Rest in peace, our beloved Bro Bobby Stewart. You made a profound and powerful impact on so many people's lives. You have fought a good fight, you have finished the course, and you have kept the faith. Henceforth, there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give you on that day.
Pastor Sammy Stewart ended the funeral so beautifully: For me to live is Christ and to die is gain. Also, with that beautiful song, song so very well by Dave Stewart: I will see you soon again in the land of life. A life truly well lived.
